Cumberland County Child Support Agency Review

They make no real effort to collect the child support. If he get a job and they no he working it be like 3 or 4 months later before payment starts then he leaves that job. He went years without paying and they just say they can t do anything but if he was army they would be trying harder

I have given everything they need an yet an still can't get help ..no efforts being made

Let s just say, when My case worker called me Mr. Brown and my x by her first name; I new I was in trouble. I provided pictures from social media showing my x has a job under the table. From January to st Patrick s day. But evidently I need a picture of that very day. My case worker told my x everything I was planning to do. My x bought a new house, bought a new KIA. Goes out of state on vacation. My x stoped posting what she was doing thanks to my case worker. Basically she doesn t have to pay anything, she s gonna have a baby (already) then school. My worker said I d have to rely on my x to pay out of pocket. I know plenty of Men that were court ordered to get a job to pay child support. O, and my case worker actually Told me, how is my x supposed to pay for Our child when she s gonna have one! Are you serious!?! This will be her 5th child!! If your a Man....good luck! Better get a lawyer

It's so sad, they are all about the mothers here. Dads really have no say so.

The absent parent gets to not pay you for months while they drag their feet. Then you go to court and are told it may still be months before you recieve a dime. In the meantime you must continue to be in debt and try not to get evicted or any repossessions to avoid a CPS referral. I did everything right and they stood by and allowed the soldier to abandon responsibility to the child yet people call moms bitter

This place is BS. They MAKE you file against child's father even though he takes care of his child and him and I have support totally worked out and NO issues! Such BS

Very helpful. In my case, I am trying to pay child suoport, and that helped me get the process started.

Love their inhouse officer. He lets me know when my tags are about to expire.

It's a quiet office. It's clean. They're well organized.

When calling in.. The automated message reffed me to the 1-800# which referred me back to the local 910#. I accidentally got a live person on the phone once; but have what I did differently to yield such a result. And once I created an online account... I was just as lost as when I called in only I had a visual aid to tell me how lost I was.
I'll be doing the rest of my business in person

Last at the desk was very rude but my worker was amazing

The reception along with my caseworker are efficient, helpful and very knowledgeable.

The lady at the front desk has a nasty attitude. The workers are polite

It's child support. Although I'm thankful they are available, it sucks to have to be there! Nice staff. Very helpful and informative.

This system is a joke. From the case workers to the judges. Absent parents are getting a pass!!!

A great place for many resources such as parenting classes, psychological, psychiatric assessments, and much much more. The staff is friendly and you'll get all the help you need here...

My case worker has done very little to help other then go to court every few months. I've done more research and found out useful information and she's been sitting on it since December. Not to mention she rude and had an attitude. So much more.

This system is bs. My ex has paid on time for 9 years and now, he is not making a full payment since June. He is in the rear and they are not enforcing anything till he is a full month behind.

Sharon and jemcqueen were not helpful. I am a father have no issue what so ever paying support to my daughter! Although I faxed these too people in the office proof that my baby isn't with her mom She has been from house to house since 2014! She even went to a different state and tried to get child support in VA and NC! This company knows this. She did this to my kids in 2010 and this company knows it. You don't necessary even need to go to these people and pay them $25 oops wait $35 ! Get you a good lawyer your better off and I say this to all moms or dads! I'm in total agreement of support to a child. I'm not in support of this company paying my Ex who is in WI and my daughter is in NC! I got a red Cross that's how I found out about my child and this company was aware! Yes Sharon and this company is rude and nasty. Someone so nasty like that needs help. She acted like it's a bother to call! The whole 3 days to call is a crock cause she never calls back..but I'll have all of this and them in court. Stay woke people. Dig in your pockets get a real Lawyer like Susan Hall. She is a great lawyer. 10/10.

Everyone knows social services ia depressing the worker are hateful and need some people skills training

By far the most poorly ran system in government!! They determine child support before custody is determined in court...now I m paying child support for my kids that live with me and all they can do is stop the money from going to the other parent but are still taking it from my paycheck. The most worthless government organization out there!

I wish I could give less than 1 Star smh. If Sharon White is your case worker RUNNNNNNNN!!!! She s not attentive, she doesn t follow up, or call. She needs to retire, because apparently keeping up with her clients is becoming too much for her. Throw the whole office away!

Receptionist is very rude, hard to maintain contact with social worker. An attorney is needed when dealing with this office.

Cumberland County Child Support Enforcement address is 109 Bradford Ave, Fayetteville NC 4th floor. This has been the address since July 2010.

If I could give less than one star I would ..... this place is a JOKE !!!!! My son s ex-wife owes almost 3 years in child support and they ve done NOTHING!!!!! It s not because they can t find her because she s in jail and has been since October , they set a court date but have yet to serve her with the summons to appear!!!! If it was the other way around he d be under the jail !!!!!!

Child support is ILLEGAL!!! See equal protection of laws... See bill of attainer... See writ of assistance... See deprivation of rights under color of law... See the judges vested interest in title IV-D... See illegal business practices... Need more... Look up the 1st, 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th amendments of your constitution

I don't think this place will get a bunch of 5 stars but as far as CS places go, I think it's okay. They do their job. That's all you can ask.
