We had a really good mail carrier for the last 20 years. When he retired, not so much. A friend sent me a card and with the correct address it was returned to them marked VACANT! I have lived here for over 20 years. Because i am crippled up, I do not go in the yard much. HOW DARE THIS PERSON DO THIS!!!
Everytime I go in there they are rude. I had a package that didn't get delivered because I wasn't home so I went to the post office to pick it up. I waited in line forever just for the guy to be a jerk and say "well the trucks aren't even back yet I mean you should have known that before coming down here! " How was I suppose to know that? I don't work there! People should really learn how to talk to customers. It's one thing if your having a bad day and not all smiley but for you to be completely rude and scream at me is unacceptable!
Quiet, out of the way post office. Not terribly busy.
Only time I've went where I haven't felt welcome was at 3:30p.m and the staff member was very very dry and andupset that he had to do his job and stop talking to another costumer that wasnt even in line in thefirst place. I didn't feel welcomed at all...The worker and the other costumer seemed to be close or being flirtatious and were very upset that I walked in to deliver a package. It was very unprofessional. The only person that makes me feel welcomed is an older gentleman that has been there a very long time :)
Worst service ever I wish I didn t have to give a star they didn t even care to look or ask for more info to help there customer never going back with that poor service
Great PO. I'm at this location almost daily. Service is always prompt, professional and served with a great attitude. Even when lines are long at the holidays, I've never seen the staff be anything but great.
After 3 years the phone number still doesn't work. I sent a letter to my granddaughter in their zip code and it was returned as undeliverable even though the address was correct!! Update: the number works from my cell but not the house phone. They said if my granddaughter's name is not on or in the box, they will not leave it.
Awesome last minute special delivery!!! Story starts with my boss waiting to pay his employees after he receives these very important checks in the mail, that are only coming from oak ridge and that was sent out Tuesday so I waited all day through Friday waiting for them to arrive. Normally the mail runs by 2-3pm mon thru Friday and a little earlier on Saturday. Thursday it arrived at 11:30am! from a different post man so I thought that odd, so by the time it didn't show up by 6pm on Friday I knew something was going on. So I Chased a near by mail man down who told me the guy was sick so another guy would b delivering it. Waited till after 8pm and nobody in the area ever received anything. So my day off I came in expecting to get them. Waited till afternoon Saturday and still nothing. Chased another mail man down who told me again the guy was sick and another person would deliver it. Now this time I didn't trust that info for a second time after what happened yesterday and me having to wait at work 4 hours longer for nothing and coming back at 7am on my day off Saturday to find nothing again. I called the 1800 number, waited on hold 57 minutes, but they told me my message wouldn't be recieved/ responded to till Monday - Wednesday but gave me the number to reach the PO that they confirmed my mail was delivered from. I had already called two other post offices near by, the closest ones I thought would be from where my mail came from, and it would ring for 7 mins straight, no answer, no voicemail, and just hang up on me. Turns out my PO was the furthest one away, so I called the number the 1800# lady gave me for them. They answered in ONE RING (compared to several other post offices in the city not answering my dozen calls over the past TWO DAYS at all) So it's looking like they are the ONLY post office in the area that answers their phone. Thank god! She informed me my regular driver was on vacation, and the sub driver arrived to work, took all the mail in his truck, then half way thru the day went home sick. So they weren't able to give the mail to any other driver to deliver it as every one was already out delivering their mail and not returning till the end of day. That guy called out sick again the next day so it wasn't going to be delivered AGAIN. So she went in the back, found the IMPORTANT checks I had been expecting all week. And told me she would make a special trip to make sure they were delivered today, and told me to give them about 30 mins. Even tho not delivering the mail at all for two days in a row is really bad and unreliable service, the fact she was willing to make a special trip on the second day, especially a Saturday, is really awesome service. Especially since I hadn't been able to reach a single post office in this city besides this one, which thankfully is the one who delivers my mail instead of the closer ones who neglect to EVER answer their damn phone. Props to u all at the southerland post office, for being the only post office in the entire city that answers the phone, and making an extra trip to make sure I got my mail. Still waiting for it, but I trust it'll eventually get here bc I told her my boss said I'm not allowed to leave till I know for a fact the mail isn't coming or I get it. We have not been able to pay our employees due to not receiving these checks, that have seriously taken 5 days coming from oak ridge and wouldn't have come at all this week had I not called or they not answered. Been going there for years and out of my way because they have always been so great. Today I recognized no one and was treated very rudely after needing a money order and when they were out of them was treated like I was stupid by who I m assuming is some type of floor manager.
Today the mailman or woman came and dropped mail off in my mailbox and my neighbors mailbox. Ik they pull over on my road to let cars go but he or she knocked over my recycle bin and my neighbors and didn t bother to get out for 2 secs and put them back up.
3rd time I ve had an item supposedly delivered and the item wasn t in my mail box as stated. Well today I called 5 times and he kept saying that they haven t heard back from the driver. That he would call me as soon as he got back and when they figured it out so I could come get it if need be because it was extremely important that I got it today. HE NEVER CALLED AND TOLD ME A THING. I talked to both Cody and Dustin several times. I thought priority mail meant something but I guess not. Ridiculous.
They charge shippers for their services, but fail to deliver the mail. Lazy union workers not held accountable because they are Government employees. Amazon should really hold them accountable.
Paid 25$ for a package to be redirected here, it was confirmed delivered. I came by to pick it up and it had already been delivered to the address I paid for it NOT to be sent to. The lady wandered around for 5 minutes looking for the package before calling her supervisor, who was apparently too busy to help because they never made an appearance. I now have to drive 45 minutes away to pick up the package I paid extra to specifically avoid that drive. Absolutely unhelpful, and would avoid using this post office at all costs.
Good customer service, highly efficient, professional staff. There is usually a short wait as with any post office.
89-year-old mother sent me luggage from Japan by EMS. This is the first time, but it was delivered to the wrong place. And he signed a small child and left it. I am out of that time. I was relieved because the familiarity of the face usually delivered me, but this time a different delivery person. I went to other post offices and found out. Eventually, no action was taken until Monday, and contact only from here. I'm a victim. As a result, the resident does not return the luggage using the absence. You can claim compensation, but the one inside is a limited item that can not be purchased again
I feel very reasonable. A rudimentary mistake also told Japanese post office staff that the opened mouth would not be blocked. Also, it is incredible that the inhabitants are not charged with the crime. Japan will be punished for embezzlement. And a nightmare again! It was almost the same today. When I found a postman and asked him to receive a redelivery today, he said he put it in front of the house. Since there is no room, I went to get it in front of a different room. It is likely that anger will explode if there is really once or twice. Is it educated to check elementary addresses and room numbers? Do you do OJT? I feel the level of work is low.

Staff is always friendly here. They are a bit short-staffed at times but that's OK.
I always get great customer service here! You can tell they try to move the line as fast as they can. The employees actually seem to care compared to other usps locations near here.
They make my errands feel less like a chore, I'm always greeted and made to feel welcome to ask questions. Clean store and fast service
