Best pasta I've ever had in my life! The pasta was so tasty and full of flavor. We went here for lunch and we were seated right away. The waiter was really helpful and helped us choose.
I'd def recommend this place! I'm def going back here again.

Great new wine bar in Castle Rock. Service was excellent, food was delicious and had a great overall experience.

Surprisingly good food! Wine starts at 1.5 oz, 3oz, 6oz...servers were great & personable, friendly.

James and Nancie provide such a welcoming experience. Their knowledge of food and wine are unheard of in Castle Rock. Food is outstanding, customer service is outstanding, and wines are perfectly selected.

They re always willing to talk through the wine selections and offer up their recommendations for the best food and wine pairings.

Had a fantastic time! My date was knowledgeable about wines and European cusine. She loved everything and so did I! We had the French Onion appetizer, the Charcuterie plate with a variety of delicious meats and cheeses, and glasses of Argentine Loscano Malbec. The service was excellent. The classy atmosphere was perfect for a fun date where you to want to talk, laugh, and have a great evening!!

I especially love that this is a family owned and operated business. You two have done an amazing job creating such a beautiful, romantic & fun wine bar in Castle Rock. James s knowledge of wines is superior to anyone I have met in Colorado. I have never had anything but excellent & welcoming service with all of your staff. An easy 5 minute jog off of 1-25, and a must when your near Castle Rock!

Finally made it in to Crush tonight! Sat at a table for 2 with a friend and we spent over an hour and a half catching up. We shared a flatbread and a small plate. Food was excellent. The wine is expensive but I managed to fine a nice red for $6.50 on sale during happy hour. I will definitely go back and can t wait for the patio when weather permits!

This place is great! Wish we had one in the springs.... This is not too far

Spent a nice evening here with my wife and some friends. I'm not into wine but my wife is and they had some really good brews from Salida and excellent food. Will be back

Cozy modern wine bar...we enjoyed the food, service, and wine list which was presented in detail on a tablet. The owner made us feel very welcome.

This is a really great place. Of course the wine selection is great, so are the lagers. But what sets this place apart from other bars in CR is the people who work there. Friendly, knowledgeable, alert, and just plain cool.
Tried the GUS for the first time since I don't drink alcohol, and it is my new favorite beverage. My wife was dazzled by the wine selection though and had a really good chardonnay... sorry can't remember which. Happy hour prices are good too. I think 2 bucks off wine pours. And they have a cool digital menu system.

Sommeliers are excellent. I'm not a wine person, but they found sweet juicy wines that I really enjoyed. The food is awesome. Try renting one of the bubbles at night. It's very unique.

Excellent service, consistent and friendly every visit. Quiet atmosphere with great, comfortable interior decor and romantic fireplaces situated around the restaurant. The tablet menus make ordering a breeze and the food is so good! We try something new every visit and never leave dissatisfied! Wine selection is great and allows you to cruise around the world from the comfort of the rustic familiarity of the best wine bar in Castle Rock. The owners, Nancie and James make an effort to come around and greet every guest and make everyone feel at home.

So.....I LOVE this little place. I mistakenly didn't give you guys the review you deserve as i was going through my guides page and mis-starred you! Thank you for having 1. great wine 2.incredible food (although even if you just served almonds i would say that and 3. that you are adults only! This makes you an oasis in suburbia!

Came here with a few coworkers....I'm from out of town...Canada. I was super impressed with this establishment. As a vegan it's hard to find a decent place to have a drink and food without having to make things complicated. I LOVE that your wine menu makes it easy to select a vegan wine!!!! I was able to put my phone away, I didn't have to look up each vineyard and wine to see if it was vegan. Our waitress was extremely patient and took excellent care of us. Menu items were modified for me without issue. Will for sure be back for your happy hour!

Good selection of wines for any price range, service was personal. We had the charcuterie board and a pizza and were not disappointed.

Not only because of the obvious-delicious, high quality wine. The staff and owner treated my friends and myself to educational info as well as fun personal wine stories. The decor is top notch- we didn t want to leave!!

This place is terrific - good wines, good food, nice people, fun atmosphere! It can be as reasonable or expensive as you want to make it - there's a wide range of prices on the wines.

Reading other reviews, I find it HILARIOUS that the only 1- and 2-star reviews are from people who are mad that they can't bring their kids in. Read through the BS, it boils down to them wanting to bring their children to a BAR.

C'mon, people - don't blast this place because you can't leave your precious kiddos at home for once. It's right on the door that it's 21+ but you want to raise a stink over it? Some of us like having an adult establishment in town.

If you want a night out with the kids, this isn't your place. But if you want an enjoyable night out with adults, Crush is a great choice.

When Crush first opened, my family and I which includes my wife and 16 year old son visited. They were so happy to accommodate us and quite frankly we enjoyed the food, wine and atmosphere. We tried getting a table a few times thereafter and it was too busy so tonight I was so excited that we made it in before five and got a table only to be sent away because we had our 16-year old son with us. The owner said the customers wanted this to be a 21 and older place so they could not serve us as long as our son was with us. This is most definitely discrimination and I am confident someone will take them to task on this obvious bias policy. Now that they are up and running with the idea that their restaurant and wine bar is successful they no longer wish to accommodate. News Flash, anyone can be successful running a restaurant in Castle Rock considering the number of people moving-in. If you like to raise your glass everyday after work and pose as if you are well-off this is the place for you. Otherwise, don't waste your time !!

Fabulous food, fabulous staff. WOW. We were very impressed. Our food was incredibly fresh, perfect portions, absolutely delicious and the service was tops. Very friendly, kind, accommodating and welcoming atmosphere.

We just love this place! The atmosphere is fantastic, the owner is awesome, they offer organic wines as well as gluten free snacks (I really appreciate that!) and every detail of this place is so carefully and smartly thought through. My husband and I like to go on snowy evenings so we can sit by the fireplace and watch the snow fall outside with our wine!

Crush Wine bar is such a great place to relax and unwind. They have great choices for both white and red wines. They have a series of excellent small plates and flatbreads. James and Nancy are so wonderful and the staff is efficient and super friendly.

Nancie and James have a wonderful gem in Castle Rock. Crush is a fantastic place for a date night and girls night! They are usually there recommending amazing wines and yummy food off their unique menu. Also, they made our wedding in Texas extra special by helping us have a taste of home all the way from Colorado. We love Crush and we hope that the community continues to support this local, family owned spot!

I tried to go to this restaurant with my adult children (over 18 years old, old enough to be in military) but did not realize they wouldn't allow them to eat dinner there. Apparently adult children are the same as babies in car seats to this place.
Two stars because the menu looked appealing -- that's why we chose to try it. Unfortunately we'll never know if it was any good, because it was insulting to be turned away. We won't bother going back.

Never even made it inside. A woman met as at the door and told us no one under 21. We had our sleeping 2 month old with us. Don t even try with kids. Pretty lame if you ask me.

Best place in Colorado. Wonderful service, great selection of wines. Interesting new innovative foods which delight the palate. Inviting and stimulation atmosphere. Owner came to our table and introduced himself. All the staff made my birthday very memorable. I can't wait to go back!!!!!

Great selection of wines!! The food was absolutely delicious! Hands down best place I ve been to in Castle Rock. I did enjoy the quiet atmosphere and appreciate that they enforce the 21+ policy. The menus are on iPads, which were a bit bright in the dim lighting, but that would be my only complaint.

We ordered the prosciutto fig flatbread, baked Mac and cheese, bruschetta and sticky toffee pudding.

Wine bar with great choices, a couple beers on the menu for those that don't like the grape flatbreads are great highly recommend the steak and blue version nice atmosphere attentive staff.

Swanky atmosphere, great wine selection, awesome service, delicious small plates! Great place for a date or small group. Be aware that this place is 21+...which was perfect for this Mama looking to relax for a bit!

Went to Crush for the first time and really enjoyed the experience here.
There's a great choice of wines to choose from along with a decent menu of snacks, antipastos, flatbreads and cheese boards. The bruschetta was especially good, but the charcuterie board also had some really good meats and cheeses too.
A nice plus is the happy hour here - if you get there early enough on a weekend, they have some great deals on glasses of wine and some food. I believe the weekday happy hour is even better with deals that last until close.
The atmosphere was really nice in the sense it promoted trying wines and conversing with your party. I would highly recommend bringing a friend and trying out the different wines they have. With a lot of breweries available in Colorado, I like the idea of switching it up to wine and Crush really fit the bill.

I went to Crush Wine Bar for the first time. I have not been more impressed with a business in a very long time. The bar tend, is also the owner. First off, best bartender I've had in a while. Service was so good, so friendly that when I left I felt more like a guest and less like a patron. So much so that I wanted to do my own dishes. And the atmosphere is so relaxed. So modern and comfortable that Castle Rock is lucky to have a place like this in their own back yard. It should and will get national attention. This is the perfect place for a meeting especially if you want to make an impression. I highly suggest the food. I had the flatbread. Your stealing from yourself if you only order wine and skip the menu. Very affordable. Believe me, you will want to tip James. What a time. I'll be back and when I do I want to try the black sheep.

Love this place. Btw who tries to bring their babies and teens to a BAR and then leave bad reviews when told it is 21 and up? Get a babysitter or go to Applebees with the kids. If you don't like that the drinking age is 21 and not 18, lobby to change the law instead of wasting time leaving bad reviews for good places because you want to bring your teenagers into a bar.

Great service and wine suggestions from knowledgeable and hard-working staff. The food was really good which I can't say often. Live that you can order 1/4 glasses if you aren't a wine person and don't know what to order or if you just want to try a lot.

Best place in Castle Rock. It was our first experience. Food was incredible and so was the BEER! Yes, Beer at a wine bar! Excellent choice. The place is my new favorite in Castle Rock.

Sat at our table for 20 minutes no one came by to give us water take a drink order, salad was good, service was absolutely horrible, will not return...

This place was more on the casual end of wine bars, but had a lovely atmosphere with friendly and quick service.

The waitress was very knowledgable on the drinks offered and provided great recommendations.

The food was delicious and the wine choices were decent. The iPad menu was a neat addition to the experience and made searching for items easier than a standard menu.

I would definitely come back.

My friend and I enjoyed a night out at this beautiful new establishment. The owner was there and chatted with us several times. The staff is welcoming, the wine is exquisite and unique, the food was flavorful and fun. Looking forward to drinking on their patio this summer!!!

James and Nancy were very kind and welcoming. We had a couple small plates, some delicious glasses of wine from their nice selection. Loved the vibe, the touches like the paper rings on the glass of wine telling you where to buy a bottle locally (so genius!) DO NOT miss the sticky toffee pudding. It s incredible, especially with the sherry that James recommended.
