Beautiful, vibrant atmosphere and a great wine list. Everything we tried was delicious! James, Dakota, and Claudia were great! Extremely knowledgeable about the wines and fun to talk to. The menu can be sorted so you can pick the best food to pair with your wine or vice versa. Careful COVID measures in place which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back!
I visited Crush when they first opened and just went back last night - still just as yummy! It's fun to try a few different wines, and the staff is super helpful when you're trying to pair wines with your food. They've added a new dessert and it is to die for - definitely get the apple crisp (and the toffee pudding!) This place is definitely one of my favorites, will be back again (and again!)
Great selection of wine and very knowledgeable servers! I'll definitely be back to try the food. The dishes coming out of the kitchen looked tasty and the descriptions on the menu made my mouth water.
Cozy place for a date. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable, the wine selection has something for everybody and the charcuterie board was delicious. On another visit the ladies sent the guys over to the beer place next door so they could have sophisticated conversations. The two owners have a big opportunity for working together with that scenario, because I know I am not the only one who has done it.
What a fun place! Love the environment and the food is delicious! The owners are usually there as well and they are so kind. It really gives you that local feel with a very classy vibe. I plan to return many times.
If you want a great wine selection and an equally great pairing of food, you must go come to Crush. the Owners Nancie and James are the absolute best. The sticky toffee pudding and the paring of the sherry are absolutely mind blowing good together.
Lovely bar, great wine selection with many reasonably priced wines. The hummus was delicious with fresh veggies. When we go on Fridays we sit outside and listen to the patio music from the brewery next door.
Went and checked out Crush with a group of girlfriends. We all loved it. Excellent food, wine, and customer service. We were there for over 2 hours enjoying the ambiance and cuisine.
We went there at 4pm, the restaurant wasn t busy but the hostess told us everything was booked. The only way we could be served was by coming back after 6pm or by starting only until 5:30pm. We accepted to stay until 5pm, we order a flight of 12 cups total, wine was great. Our server seemed busy and left many of the empty cups and plates there. We ordered the green Brussels, we didn t like the flavor of them, they were rubbery and a small portion for the price we paid. We agreed that the place is known by their wines but the food is okay.
The experience overall was good, we would have preferred a server who would be fast in picking our empty cups & plates instead of having them in the table blocking our way.
Really enjoyed the chic, yet cozy atmosphere of this privately-owned wine bar! The wine selection is immense and the owner's knowledge of all things wine-related lends to an exceptional experience! Don't miss the Apple Pecan Brie, the House-Made Baked Mac and Cheese, the Charcuterie Board and the Sticky Toffee Pudding!
Nancie and James make this place feel like home. Phenomenal service, food, wine ect. They have made room for several larger events I was holding. Not only did everything go off with out a hitch. Everyone that attended was extremely impressed and became life long patrons. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Excellent selection of wines and delicious small plates and pizza. Really enjoyed the burrata crostini and the prosciutto fig flatbread. On Wednesdays they have flights of wine and today we enjoyed a flight of unique steel aged options.
My wife and I moved to Castle Rock 2 weeks ago and, based on the reviews, can't wait to visit when things open up. We can actually walk to your wine bar and plan on visiting often. Sounds like a great place to bring friends and out of town guests Hope to see you soon Bill
The atmosphere was very quiet and inviting. The staff was extremely friendly, and the owners are wonderful. Large selection of wine to choose from. Great place to relax snd unwind. Definitely will be back
Shared a series of small plates and flatbreads. All were phenomenal; the burrata small plate and the prosciutto flatbread were exceptionally delicious.
Such an amazing place! The food, service and of course the wine were all amazing! What a great addition to our (not so little anymore) town!! Where else can you go where the owner plays cards against humanity with you!? If you haven't been you need to GO!
There are so many things to Love about Crush! Great food, great wine selection, great staff, great atmosphere. We had each of the small plates and enjoyed them very much. They offer 1.5 ounce pours of wine (as well as full pours), so you can make your own tasting flight. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Love the iPad menus, which have descriptions of each wine. You can tell that the owners take great pride in this establishment..
What an amazing spot in the sea of breweries and tap houses that rule the Colorado landscape. We re well traveled (trips every 2-4 months out of state), I grew up in Seattle, WA and spent 4 years in London England serving in the USAF; and I absolutely have to say that this is the top 3 wine bars I ve ever visited. The owner James is second to none. He met our wants and needs right off the bat and we left his establishment feeling like we made a new friend. The staff was the same, service was obviously important. Now the food, the flatbread and charcuterie were unbelievable!!! We d live in this place if we could. The wine selection is great and is nothing but the best and the price is about what you d expect. This is a refreshing establishment that is easy to lose yourself in. James, well done. Thanks.
Met a girlfriend for Happy Hour today (4-6). Wine selection is amazing, Mediterranean plate was beautiful and filling for two. So excited to have Crush in Castle Rock!!!
We visited on a Wednesday night and ordered some wine flights. Their wine selection was unique and very good. Service was excellent. It was pricey, but a good choice for a date night.
Wonderful little gem. Food and ambiance were excellent. Wines selection was good, but prices a bit high. I wish they had a larger selection of quality wines and lowered prices a little but overall, I will go back and bring friends. Hope this was helpful.
Great selection and fantastic food and wine. Owner greeted every table with a smile and had personally selected each wine on the menu. Will be coming back soon.
My girlfriend and I went in last week and we LOVE Crush! We both had 3 half glasses of wine, so we were able to try a few different ones without having to do a full glass. The food was phenomenal! We shared two small plates and a flatbread and it was more than enough food for the two of us. We went in on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't super busy, and playing Cards Against Humanity was an added bonus. Great atmosphere, with several cozy nooks to have wine with friends. All around great experience, and a great addition to Castle Rock!
This place is amazing. The service is excellent, the food is outstanding, and the wines... so many delicious varietals to choose from, all by the glass, and a great setup with a 2 oz pour option, allowing you to sample some more expensive wines, before committing to a full glass.
I think it's telling that the only negative reviews are from folks upset about the no kids rule. I doubt they would bother with writing a review if it wasn't such a desirable establishment to frequent. Personally, the no kids rule is a feature, not a drawback.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Further more can't find anything to criticize. If your looking for the perfect place to relax and talk with friends or business associates, this is it. Quiet, comfortable, amazing selection of wines, and interesting and tasty small plates. Service is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Nothing wrong, all right.
I visited Crush Wine Bar with a friend for happy hour. While there is a happy hour, it's still on the pricey side--of course it depends on what wine you choose. Since I also bought a flatbread (on HH special too) and the brussels sprouts (on HH too), my bill was over $40. I was not disappointment in the quality of food or wine--everything I consumed was EXCELLENT. It's just not in my budget to be able to have a second visit. I gave 4 stars because of that. If you have a larger going out to eat budget, then by all means check this lovely place out. I also agree that service was excellent, server was very helpful and was knowledgeable with everything we asked. The fig and Prosciutto flatbread and brussels sprouts were wonderful.
Don t pass this place up. They have a pretty good wine selection and great small plates. We needed a cozy wine bar here in CR and this one meets the standards!
Outstanding! Very fresh cheese plate flown in the day before from Italy! Wow! Very good. Hummus is made every day and is also fresh and very good. Thank you for a refreshing and tasty meal along with great service! We will be back
Great vibes, love music and a good selection of wine! The cheese plates are a little pricey and I feel like you could get a little more, but over all a great place!
