Through the years I ve been to many emergency rooms in many hospitals in a variety of states. My recent emergency experience at Crozier hospital was truly exceptional. Everyone from the receptionist to the security guard to the nurses and doctors provided exceptional care regarding my condition and predicament. Criticisms are cast too often through social media. Excellence needs to be acknowledged and applauded.
Major Kudos to the personnel at Crozer! You folks get it! Carry on!
Worst hospital I have ever been to in my life. If I can give it no stars I would. I watch a nurse walk out of the room with a patient with gloves on and enter another room with the same gloves. The employees at the desk were very rude and on the phones. We been waiting for more then a hour and we are still in the waiting room now, I understand if they are busy but they are taking people that came in after we have. My husband may have the flu and they are not doing anything, this hospital a joke. Plus I work in the medical field
so I know how things go.
My grandfather is there now and we are not happy at all with his care. He has been there over a month now. Have to wait 45 minutes for a call bell to be answered, the wait was so bad he had to urinate in the trash can because nobody helped him with the urinal. A majority of the nurses don't explain things to you. I wish we could transfer him. Actually put a request in and they said we would have to find a doctor on our own. Also we wanted to speak to a doctor and the nurses paged him multiple times and he never came. You call the patient relations number and nobody answes. Overall this has been an awful experience.
TOOK MY DAUGHTER TO ER...THEY TOOK HER BACK GOT HER BACK IN A ROOM RELATIVELY FAST..I HER MOTHER WENT OUT OF THE ROOM..TO GO IN WAITING AREA.I WAS THEN READY TO GO BACK IN AND I ASKED A FEW SECURITY OFFICERS IF ONE COULD KINDLY BUZZ ME BACK..THE WHITE SHIRT GUY BY THE NAME OF BOB BIRNEY STARTED GETTING HOSTILE WITH ME BECAUSE I WAS NOT AWARE THAT I DIDNT HAVE A STICKER. WELL THE RECEPTIONIST NEVER GAVE ME ONE AND KNEW I WAS BACK THERE.THAT GUY SHOULD NOT BEABLE TO TALK TO SOME ONE LIKE THAT I DONT CARE WHO HE IS OR WHAT ROLE HE PLAYS..I WANT TO KNOW A TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR A SUPERVIOR..TOOK HIS JOB WAY TO ANOTBER LEVEL...
This is the most filthiest rundown hospital i have ever been in. Employees are not helpful at all. Ghetto and just nasty. No paper towels in treatment rooms and paper towels as toilet paper in bathrooms. I would definitely NEVER recommend this place. Needs a very bad cleaning and remodeling .
The visit to the ER department has a5 to10hr waiting period waiting to be taken to a bed even when shifts change is crazy and more frustrating.
Avoid if you can. Lack of communication and incompetencies abound. Would make this a zero if possible.
Just had back surgery last month. Dr. Okpaku was my surgeon. He did a great job, nurses treated me well and food was okay.
Third rate hospital with fourth rate staff. The clinical staff is solid but administration is a train wreck. The hospital is run by arrogant, incompetent little boys with barely a minute of experience in real life. The IT department is barely functional. The HR employees either get paid for doing nothing or are unable to perform even the most basic clerical functions. Don't even ask about employment law, pretty sure they're unaware of its existence.
I've seen their numbers. They'll be bankrupt within a year.
Food is bland served in small portions using throw away everything. Channel selection poor, not as clean as it could be and rooms very unappealing. My guess is they want you out asap. The shining light is where it matters most:? My nurses were great as was my heart specialist. The listened to an old farts stories and care about what they do. They are the only reason to use this hospi
My aunt was treated there last week. While the nursing care was adequate , the physician, if I may call him that, was arrogant, dismissive, demeaning, and incompetent in several areas, including chart reading and vernacular English. I'm told that he was an intern. Terrible care
