Crowne Plaza St. Louis Downtown Reviews

We stayed two nights in the corner king room with balcony. The room was large, the view from the balcony was beautiful. There's a Keurig in the room. Bed was comfortable, and shower was hot.The building is dated and our room wasn't the cleanest.

Rooms are more than adequate and super close to airport with free shuttle to and from airport.

TGI Friday did not Honor our company discount be careful bate and switch! They are connected to the Crown.

Not good for the price. Our rooms have been not ready the last two times we have been there. The shuttle service is horrific. We waited over 45 minutes at the airport before we were picked up.

The coffee in the lobby is a nice touch. The attached TGI Friday's is nice.

Didn't stay in the hotel, but went to TGI Fridays. Service was mediocre, from the hostess and manager, server was the bright spot, and the food was as expected from a chain. Also, the gate to let us in and out was broken...again. Not sure why we went back

Beautiful Hotel amazing commodities staff is polite and friendly I don't normally give places 5 stars that this place definitely deserves a five star review I would recommend this place to anybody coming into the St Louis area to stay

Location was convienent to where we were visiting (concert venue) and navigating to nearby highways was easy from the hotel. We found plenty of parking, a good amount secured by gate, but keep in mind you must take your room key after check out so you can get out of the gate, then leave it in the drop box. The room was a good size with a creative layout rather than the boring square or rectangle everyone else uses. Bed was fairly comfortable, though I wish there had been a couple of spare pillows in the closet as other hotels generally do when there is a sofa. Staff was very friendly and helpful while checking us in and out.

Good stay in St. Louis. It's close to the airport and offers a shuttle. There is a T.G.I. Friday's in the hotel, a good gym and pool as well. The rooms have a microwave and a refrigerator upon request. The morning staff was very friendly and inquired about my stay with genuine curiosity. Would recommend.

Hotel was nicely lit decorated nicely and very inviting. Room was comfortable and pleasant.

They bent over backwards to get me a room when I got stuck in St. Louis because of a missed flight connection. Can't say enough good things about the staff. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in St. Louis (but hopefully not due to another missed flight).

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Staff is Very Friendly!! And it is very clean, inside and out.

No Refrigerators, no microwaves, staff lied about van for pickup being "on the way" because they were just leaving 30min later to pick us up when our uber dropoed us off. Comfy beds.

Stayed here for the night because I have MEPS early the next morning - dinner was delicious and the staff is courteous. Looking forward to the breakfast. Would def recommend staying here. If I had to stay here again I would without hesitation. Only reason not 5/5 stars is cuz the gym could be better equipped but then again its a hotel gym so can't have too high of an expectation.

Nice hotel with nice rooms and great breakfast. Unfortunately, I returned one evening to find my room locked out by maintenance due to a nearby plumbing issue. An hour later, I had a new and better room. But still a bit of a hassle. Airport shuttles run every half hour.

The conference room was well organized and clean. The lunch was delicious and the staff was friendly and nice.

A decent Motel conveniently located across from Lambert Field

Tried the TGI Friday "all you can eat appetizers" for lunch. Taste was average at best. Service was slow after I was seated even though the attendance was light. Waitress was good but slow with visits to table as she was trying to train a new person while performing her duties.

We were especially happy with the location of this hotel, as it allowed us to walk to many places. Our only concern was that the water in the outdoor rooftop pool was absolutely freezing--so much so that only the children got in! However, that's a First-World Problem for sure!

The staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, and the bathroom was very good sized for a hotel. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

75% of guests don t wear masks or social distance. Customer service is below average. Rooms are little older and not as clean. Mine never got housekeeping service during my stay. Don t recommend.

It was nice enough, but the beds (Double room) were really small and hard. The inner atrium was really loud and could be heard in the rooms. The atrium area is very nice if you are with a group. It was nice to sit on the balcony (inside, overlooking the atrium) and let the kids fall asleep in the room.

Spacious rooms with updated interiors and a comfortable bed. The food on site left a lot to be desired unless you are a fan of TGI Fridays. The common areas were also a bit more dated and loud due to the number of guests and indoor pool in the lobby. The staff was extremely nice and was quick to accommodate every question and request!

This review is for the park n ride service, the hotel shuttle. We parked our vehicle at the hotel and used the service to go to Lambert Airport. Drop off to the airport went smoothly, the pick up was on time. The problem started when Lee the shuttle driver showed up.

Lee was rude from the onset, he did not offer to open the back of the shuttle or lift a bag. Next he proceeded to drive extremely unsafe, so unsafe that one person in the van fell out of their seat twice while going around curves. Mid drives I yelled at him, should I have spoken nicer, possibly. He was putting my families life in danger. Even after me addressing the issue he proceeded to drive unsafe.

Unacceptable to have someone driving a vehicle while transporting others. We spoke with the A.M. and she apologized. That man needs written up, this can t be the first complaint.

Friendly staff and comfy beds! I'm starting to only stay at Crowne Plazas if possible because of the standards of quality they represent.

Lovely hotel! The lobby is amazing. Rooms are clean. We had a great view, too!

No microwave in room for crew members. If you check in late, all restaurants are closed nd you need to warm your food, you have to go to the lobby from the 10 or 9 or 7th floors for it. Before you head back to your room, the food is cold or harder nd disgusting. Beware crew members!

Recently just stayed here. The first desk staff were nice and courteous. They have a TGIF connected to the bottom of the hotel. We went there for 3 nights straight. Great staff. Great food. Also, the manager Brandon made sure our experience was perfect. Also signed us up for the rewards program. We will be back. Keep up the good work

For this to be a hotel of the IHG group, I expected more. The first room they gave us had issues with the air conditioning and when I called the front desk they offered a box fan. (Seriously!!) It wasnt until I asked for another room was I given one. The second room key was not keyed in for parking, which was a perk for my membership status, luckily I saw someone pulling out of a parking spot in front. The following day I noticed the hotel had charged my account for my stay after I already paid. (This was not a mistake on my part) Although a lengthy phone call later (and I do mean lengthy) they realized the mistake was theirs and refunded my account. Again I say, this is not the IHG norm. Had I rented a room from super 8 I could understand being asked if I wanted a box fan, or them not keying my key for parking. I was really disappointed in my stay there and wont be returning to that particular hotel again.

It was a great hotel and the staff was all very pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend it in the future.

Great place to go and be ignored. From the desk agents to the attached restaurant, no one bother to greet us or offer a smile. How tragic, customer service has died at this place.

TGIF restaurant is very understaffed and refused to sit 3 people in an empty restaurant

I am a frequent guest here at the Crown, so I see more than just a one-night snapshot. While this place isn't 100% consistent with the supurb service and product, it is very close to it! Huge, comfortable rooms and beds, friendly staff, and great location are pluses.

Terrible front desk service. Girls are unfriendly and not helpful at all. I travel a lot and based on the experience we had (too long to detail) will never go back to this chain.

Ate at Fridays restaurant. Service was slow but the food was good.

Nice hotel, however had my Bluetooth earbuds disappear from my nightstand. Definitely taken while they cleaned my room. No question about it.
When I reported it to the front desk was told that I would be called the next day. Was never called. They could care less.

Hallway was super noisy, kinda smells musty/mildew ish and last few times my room was NOT well maintained after the people who were in it prior to myself. Floors definitely could use a good cleaning and rust clean here and there in bathrooms.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. There was not a complimentary breakfast included. But overall a very good hotel.

Above-average for Crowne Plaza recently remodeled. Clean bedding was average. Decent pillows. Staff was above average.

Great location to stay. The rooms are clean and the staff have been helpful. The entrance is right off the interstate exit so very easy to miss if you don't know it's coming. They charge extra to park in the open/unsecured parking lot...

the hotel was under reno, looks like it will be quite nice afterwards. paid breakfast was very average, nothing specially. location is excellent, minutes to airport. TGIF on site. i will come back.

Nice clean hotel with a pool and waterfall it is beautiful and nice rooms and common spaces were fun and different than other hotels.

I was staying the St. Louis meps process, and it was really a good night stay. Everyone was kinda. The room was great. The only reason it's 4 star is because they were in remodeling. I'd love to see the hotel again after its done to see the full beauty
