Was not what I am used to for a Crown Plaza Hotel. It was dark and dreary even when the sun was out. Christmas morning I went to get ice and I got it the moment I opened the door. It felt like 50 degrees in the hall and I sleep with the temp at 66.
Room was a bit noisy, but that's because it was adjacent to the elevators (which were slow, too) and from priceline, but hard to beat 50 a night and free parking. Didn't get the buffet for breakfast but 10 dollars is a bargain, too. Hotel looked nicer than three stars inside. Well maintained.

Great hotel! Check in was fast and easy, accommodations were clean and comfortable. Room service/ restaurant bar has pretty good food and strong drinks. Will definitely stay again.
Nice clean and quiet but on a busy road. I stayed there with my family and it was well run. Close to the galleria Houston. Maybe 6 miles from it.
Experience here was terrible .. checked in to our hotel room and upon walking in the room smelled like nothing but urine !!! We called and asked for a different room but when we got there that it smelled exactly the same so maybe all their rooms have a terrible scent to them . There were two towels for 3 guest and on top of that my flight was delayed when I asked for a late checkout they wouldn t even give me anytime further to accommodate my flight times.. ridiculous and will never stay here again .

The room we reserved was not available so they gave us a 2 bathroom king suite. It was quite nice!

Good stay something about the room was like stale from moisture had slight odor overall the hotel seemed pretty clean just not sure if there was something going on in my room only.
Broken elevators, using covid as an excuse to not serve any type of breakfast, deposits being held for 2 weeks after you check out, no turn down service if you stay multiple nights (once again, covid as an excuse when the staff won't even wear masks), no parking.. Laquinta is $30 cheaper a night, with breakfast, open excercise room, swimming pool and turn down service. NEVER AGAIN!

15 minutes after spending quite a bit in their lousy restaurant that's overpriced..their eggs are disgusting taste like microwaved tofu.
Breakfast was the same price as at the Hyatt Down town where I spent 317.00 a night to stay .
Horrible Service..in Staff other than the wait staff in the restaurant.
I will never stay there again.
They do not treat Guests the way a Hotel should and are all about the Benjamin's..YOU are number $here not a guest,
I also spent an hour waiting on a taxi.
Since my Uber and Lyft app stopped working I needed a local can and the front desk failed to assist me in any of my guest needs
This hotel should be rated 1.5 star .Horrible.Hospitality.
And no rest with the loud freeway next to my window..

It's a great hotel, close by alot of entertainment. Only bad thing is that it is right off the freeway. That's it, great bed lots of room in the room.
High quality interior and amenities, as well as top class service.
Nice clean hotel. My only complaint is a big one. Out of three elevators there is only one running. With covid going on why make everybody use one elevator or wait for a long time for a empty one. If they had two working it would have been a higher rating. So as it turns out they only use one elevator when the hotel is slow. This makes things worse cause then they were cramming us in b one elevator on purpose.

The room is nice although a little small, the bathroom is fine and the food is delicious, the service is normal and the pool is very nice

The Crowne Plaza Houston Galleria is a standard hotel near the Interstates. It was fine, but was not really anything special. There are meeting rooms and you have easy access to the interstates. Staff were pleasant overall.
Water didn't work 2 nights in a row like clockwork between the same time. Couldn't flush the toilet, take a shower, or wash your hands between midnight and 7am. Wasn't within walking distance to Galleria. Room waa clean, just won't stay there again.
Beautiful hotel! Efficient and attentive staff. We were there for a Starbucks manager summit and utilized their ballroom for an entire day. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back!
The first day we found a cucaracha at the room, second day 2 cucarachas., the breakfast was cold and they miss plates, we order 5 and they just bring 3 services., the cable on TV just horrible! The signal was very bad and finally we use an Accessible Van and never find space. I request assistance at the front desk and they just can't do anything. I stay here the last 5 years, but for sure this is my last visit to the Hotel. My stay was just very under what we pay for the 3 nights. Not recommended the "new management" as the lady on the front desk says., doesn't work!
I have never in my life had a worse experience as an employee. My training was less than inadiquit, and that is a light statement at best.
Beware of this CROWNE PLAZA if you have manners, and punctuality, as there is no appreciation. Never in my professional career have I been treated the way I was with Food and Beverage. I have never been so disappointed. Horrible experience.
Nice, clean rooms. Wifi is questionable but at least you can go hardwired. Lots of noise from the nearby freeway. "Complimentary" breakfast cost $20.
Very clean, modern decor, close to plenty of attractions in the city.
I would say if you like small confined spaces than please use the elevator on 4 occasions in a span of 2 hours 6 people in our group got stuck in the elevators. If you enjoy visiting with the police than by all means stay at this hotel at midnight they may call you also to let you know someone has broken into your car along with 4 other vehicles, what joy it is to have your new car you just bought 5 days prior broken into in a hotel parking lot, and the hotel holds not responsibility for the damages. I can say from experience this is not a safe place to stay, the elevators will scare the living daylights out of you, and you may not have anything left in your car in the morning, I guess you could avoid loosing your personals by making sure everything goes with you to your room. Just remember the parking lot is not secure.
I can say the police were nice, but not helpful, there is a slim chance anyone will be caught.
Houston Galleria, Crown Plaza not the place to stay
As soon as we arrived to our room it felt hot... AC unit was at 70 but lowered to 65 and nothing called front desk and mentioned someone would be there shortly.... no one ever came... Couldn t charge my phone, or laptop anywhere but the restroom.... asked for more towels and non were provided... it was a hot night and had to wake up in the middle of the night to take a shower and we had to go get our towels from the pool area.... great location, clean pool, amazing lobby area and bar would love to give you a 1.75 stars not okay but not poor
One of our outlets didn't work, and not enough towels in the room for 4 people stay.
We had a continuing education event with dinner. Excellent ballroom and good and service. Very professional staff and outlook.

Would not accept my temporary debit card and would not accept a cash deposit as described on website. Had to wait in lobby with my family and make arrangements. Very embarassing
Jamilah is a joy! She welcomed us from the door and kept that same high level of customer service through the entire check-in process. She even called our room to make certain we were settled in our room comfortably. In addition to phenomenal staff performance, the hotel is really nice. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Will definitely stay there the next time I'm in Houston.
Booked a two queen room and was upgraded to a two doubles suite that was the size of a one bedroom apartment.

I had a difficult experience during my recent stay at CP however Keiyanna Small (sp) was exceptional. Her integrity, character and professionalism was like none other. I basically live out of hotels for work and my hotel choice is important to me. She continued to uphold the integrity of the hotel despite my concern and she spoke to me for over 2 hours at 0300 in the morning to comfort me. Keiyanna Small continued to tell me that my colleagues at LifeGift Houston that would be staying in the near future would be taken care of and that the hotel prides themselves in customer service. This was my second time working with her and she supported me with exceptional service both times. I wish all hotels had a Keiyanna Small! Despite my recent issue she continued to ask what she and the hotel could do to support me and to visit again. I will continue referring my colleagues and friends that typically stay at the medical center because of the comfort and assurance given by Keianna. I really hope her work doesn t go unnoticed. Thank you soooo much!
Upon leaving, Daril (sp) was very kind to me when I needed support and was leaving the hotel sooner than expected. Despite me being upset she handled me with good customer service. Thank you!

I have stayed at thus hotel 3 or 4 times this year. The locstion is nice, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately on this trip we woke up with no running water. I had complained, and was tolk it was fixed and it would come on in 10 min. We checked out early to find a bathroom for my daughter to use

Stayed one night next morning my wife had red bumps all over here body. Maybe bed bugs or just an Allergic reaction to the sheets. Elevators are very slow. Sum of them didn t work.
Everything was great! Very modern and clean! The only complaint I have is the speed of the elevators on the way down...slower than molasses in the winter time.

The counter staff are the worst. Tried to peck a fight with me over a mistake they made. I was already furious and they were trying to make the situation worse by being rude and disrespectful. I kept my mouth shut but couldn't help but give the guy the finger on out the door when he said "you're welcome" Waited for him outside to see if he had anything more to say.. I was ready to throw down! Screw this hotel and the staff!!
When a problem occurred with our room, the staff corrected quickly and efficiently. Wonderful stay.
The facility was so clean and the staff was courteous and nice to walk me to the conference room. The conference rooms were perfect temperature the chairs were very comfortable and it was a quiet atmosphere
Over all its a good place, only issue is the noise from the cars from the freeway.
Very nice, up to date room. Easy access to everything from the hotel. The hotel is right off the interstate and we heard no interstate noise! Will stay here again.
Great location , nice hot showers . King suite is pretty big and spacious , comfortable beds . Good front desk people . Only minor issue is somewhat funky smell in the room . But overall a good place to stay . Bring a candle just Incase!!!!

Very nice facility, but the room smelled terrible. It smelled moldy and like someone had been smoking in the room. I told the front desk twice and their solution was to put an air freshener in the AC unit.

Booked hotel room and left for the day. Came back to the room and it was warm. Called the front desk to report and was told that they will have someone come and check it out. I waited about 15 no call. Called back to front desk was told that he could give me the fan from his office. WOW....i asked if he went to a hotel with no AC and was offered a fan would that be acceptable. Oh yea he offered me a drink voucher. Will never come to the hotel/motel again.
I was only there for a meeting but the lobby, bar and eating facilities were beautiful. The staff were polite and helpful. The service was excellent. A really lovely place to have an event and the bar seemed like a great place to hang out after work even if you don't stay there.
