What an awesome experience we had over the Christmas period. I organized this so I could meet and impress my cousin and second cousin whom I haven't seen in 23 years....they lived ul to what we were told by Nikki Fletcher, events manager. Room was clean, beautiful views and fantastic service. The Christmas lunch in general was good however, chef should be careful with the meat not to overcook it. There could have been more staff on duty for both Christmas lunch and brekkie for more efficient and effective service. Our let down was the second coffee we had late on Christmas evening after visiting friends. The staff made a note of our complaint but could have offered a free coffee $4.50 which is nothing to offer. Overall I think a bit of barista training can be done. As a trained barista myself, the milk was burnt and the ed extraction was bitter due to incorrect tampering....1 star for the coffee....overall a 4 star. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

We've stayed 3 times and loved each one. On our most recent, the staff looked after our bags for the whole day after we had checked out and lent us an umbrella as it was raining. The beds are so comfortable and the river-facing room views are fantastic!

It's a convenient location, and there's plenty of parking in nearby streets. The hotel is in need of a refresh though - the rooms are tidy but old, the bathroom in my room hasn't seen an update for at least 15 years. Not sure how much point there is to a bedside iPod player with the 10-year-old wide iPod plug nobody has anymore either

Check-in was a bit painful - I had to call out for someone's attention in the back office to check me in, but they were friendly and helpful once the process began.

I can't quite understand why management needs to charge your card a $100 deposit on top of the room rate when they don't even have minibars (which in itself is disappointing).

This hotel is ok but rooms are a bit old and dated. It is surprising how different Crowne Plaza can be from simply amazing and modern at the Singapore airport to really bad in San Antonio, Texas. This is on the low end of average but the lobby and pool is nicer.

Great stay, staff are very attentative, awesome views from the balcony. Please note this is a non-smoking hotel even on the balconies. Really nice bar and restaurant on the ground floor with daily specials.

Great view, staff pleasant. No wine in the bar fridge - beer and soft drinks plus water only? Room clean, spacious and comfortable. Bath and shower. In Room dining menu a bit limited and my request for vinegar was ignored. Otherwise recommend though pool is outdoors. BWS and supermarket around the corner.

We stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hotel. The reception, concierge and restaurant staff are exceptional. Freindly, helpful and professional. The room was clean with a lovely view of the Swan river and a small balcony. Breakfast is great and the parking is reasonable. Valet is $34 or you can park on the street at night. We have stayed at lots of Perth hotels but this is our current favourite. The hotel has free bikes to borrow and a lovely cycle/ runningpath next to the river is very close.

Whoops! My previous review was for a different Crowne Plaza!
Great location, especially if you have a view of the river like we did. The availability of free rental bicycles was a real bonus. Tuesday Fish & Chips special is a bargain treat, very good indeed. The bathrooms are a little dated but still provide a really powerful hot shower! :-)

Rooms are great but not happy with the room service food not up to health standards and I complained about the room service food and was told by the office staff " what do you want us to do about it "I said how about an apology to start for food. Wasn't happy at all as I still got charged for the inedible ceaser salad.

It was lovely. The moment we drove to the entrance, we were greeted by a very polite & friendly valet parking assistant. Parking fee was reasonable. Check in was a breeze. Concierge people were lovely. Check out was smooth. Car doors were opened for us. My husband & I had a really great time. This will be our top hotel to consider whenever we will have upcoming trips to Perth. Great location. We were able to get a room with the view of the river. Amazing experience :)

Well furnished, clean and comfortable room and I had a nice view. Reception and Concierge both knowledgeable and helpful. Lift is a little bit dodgy - like climbing into a cupboard but definitely a stay I would happily repeat.

Great location, not to far for the Crowne at which we had an event but also not to far from the city to enjoy our day up their shopping. You get exactly what you pay for with an awesome buffet breakfast. The 4pm late check out was a surprise on the day for us which was very handy! Would stay again.

There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. Stayed last night & would not stay again. We first went to the bar to have drinks and no one paid us any notice.. Had to go looking for staff to get served. Checked in and found the rooms unclean & very dated. Then when we found a pile of disgusting toenail clippings left on the carpet we asked to change rooms. The new room wasn't much better.. Just feels unclean, lamp did not work and the rooms are very noisy.. You can hear every room around you. Vacuum cleaners are left in the hallways. The pool area needs attention. The pool looked murky, plastic lounge chairs broken and no pool towels were available. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures. The main problem here is they charge for a 4 star hotel (we paid $275 a night) and the hotel is 2.5 star at best. Do not recommend.

The staff are just beautiful and are very attentive. They always smile, even from under their masks! Everything was neat, clean and tidy and the room was incredible! The restaurant was well priced and the position of the hotel makes it close to everything! A must stay here in Perth!

The service is very friendly and the staff are very attentive. This is not the most modern Hotel and looks like it could do with an upgrade but overally good value and enough that I would stay here again. Well done to all the staff who clearly are customer focussed and trained well.

A lovely boutique hotel with beautiful unobstructed 180deg of the Swan River, Langley Park and across to South Perth. Stunning lap pool overlooking Langley Park with deck chairs and deck umbrellas. Pool phone to order drinks and bar snacks to enjoy on the pool deck.
Rooms are spacious and ours had our own private balcony with table and chairs to sit out and enjoy the view of this amazing city.
Buffet breakfast is downstairs and has both inside and outside seating. Food was really good and a huge selection.
Have stayed here before and will definitely be coming back.

I felt like I walked into 1990s communist Russia! This place needs a major face lift! The staff are super nice hence why the 1st star - 2nd star for a clean room - Aircon/Heater super noisy! I woke up at 5 am to the sound of the water running through the pipes from the room above! Had a fight with the cold water nob in the shower to come on! There are marks on the carpet everywhere, the bathroom door squeaks, shower door gets stuck on the tiles! The iron was so dirty I couldn t wear the 1st shirt I ironed as it was full of black spots and a burn mark. Even Airbnb provides you with complimentary Water!
The place needs a serious update!

Wonderful stay. The view from the hotel room is amazing. Was here for couple of days. They do serve a decent breakfast, not really rich with many options but still really good. The hotel staffs were really friendly and helpful. It is good hotel for the business people to stay. The rooms are spacious enough. The swimming pool and the fitness center is really nice. The location of the hotel is just okay compared to other hotels in the city.

Advertised as booking in from 1400hrs. 1430hrs and room still not available.
But more disturbing....couple booked in. One guest is in a wheelchair. They can get into their room but not into the bathroom!
Go figure. 21 century and guests are excluded if their requirements and slightly different.

I have been an IHG member for many years primarily using Crown Plaza both here and overseas. I have stayed here in the perth location several times previously. When booking in through the hotel in house contact, i advised it was for two people and for a special celebration stay. When we got there, the room was the smallest CP room I have ever experienced. The agent had not explained this on booking. The bathroom was small, tight fit where you almost had to leap over the high bath edge to get into shower. There were virtually no drawers in the room for various items so we had to live out of the two bags. There was a very limited tea coffee facility, no biscuits, one teaspoon, no bedside drawers and generally small all round. The bar service was polite but slow. When ordering some bar snacks, it took 40 minutes for a soup and burger, being advised the kitchen was busy. The other meal had virtually no taste to it and even when there were high storm winds and rain outside, we still went out to eat rather than staying inside like we would have in most other CP venues. The concierge was great, knew his stuff and was very friendly. Compared to Auckland, Hong Kong, Adelaide and Melbourne, this was a significant let down. The positive of course was the location with a river view. Close to some nice eating spots. But unless there is some major changes, we would not be staying there again and we are now considering moving over to the Accor group for the foreseeable future. A very disappointing experience for such a special occasion.
