Ok. Room comfortable and clean. Staff nice and friendly. Reception, entry bar area needs a major face lift. Looks bland a out dated. Ok for price but stayed at another hotel next night for $60 a night less much more modern.

Second time my partner and I have stayed with these guys and definitely will continue to use them. Service spot on! Everyone's so cheerful and attended to our every need. The room was clean and big (we had a King with Spa no river view- which we wanted) only issue was the vent was quite loud. Managed to get to sleep straight away because I was pooped but I can see it being an issue for more than two nights. We were there to celebrate my birthday and received complimentary sparkling wine (which was actually decent!) And Margaret River chocolate (a BIG bar of it). Definitely coming back.

Nice rooms that have the simple things that make the stay more pleasant (e.g. scale, toiletry kits, etc.) The gym here is small but has all you need for a good cardio workout. The front office staff and concierge are helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner dining at the restaurant is a little expensive ($35 AUD for full breakfast), but it is like that in every hotel and there is a wide variety of hot food, fruit, pancakes, and a do-it-yourself juicer/smoothie machine.

I have travelled the world in a business capacity and have stayed in Dubai, Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong and London just to name a few. I would rank Crowne Plaza Perth up there with any of the 5 and 6 star hotels I have stayed in - all the staff, without exception, are cheerful, polite and extremely professional - from James on the Fron Desk Night Audit to Trevor from Room Service. Rooms are always spotless, service always prompt and the check in and stay process is always seamless. I don't know what the GM of this hotel is doing, but big corporations should take note, and take a very big leaf out of his / her book. My favorite hotel in Australia at the moment.

Dropped my wallet in the ground floor bathroom in the morning. It seems the hotel personnel found it. Came back to my room in the evening and it was there, with none of the usd 500 and several credit cards missing.

I might have given the Crown Plaza 3 stars but the fact that they put me into room 201 really ticked me off. Directly above this room (and room 202) is the gym. Just imagine at 6am the rumbling of the treadmill starts and then the regular 'thud' 'thud' of a runner going for 30 minutes right above your bed. As if that is not bad enough above this room adjacent to the gym is also where the timber and steel bridge connects this building to the pool. So at 8am people (or a bunch of kids) are running across the bridge to get to the pool. Rooms 201 and 202 are the worst rooms at thia hotel. So if you are given either of these 2 rooms make sure you refuse and get another. I am a gold IHG member - youbwould think the hotel staff would have given me a better room. Not hapy Jan!

We were very, very disappointed with our room. I booked a couple of weeks in advance into a Queen 'River view room' and was very excited to have a look once entering the room, but when I opened the curtains, we were greeted with a view of a roof just below us, to what I think was the reception area underneath, chemical storage and the pool area. I was so upset, as it was a surprise for my husband and a belated Anniversary present, we were hoping to take in the views and have a champers on the balcony, instead we got an obscured view of the Swan river!!!. When we rang to see if we could be moved, we were told they were fully booked, there was no offer of compensation, nothing. Our room was also at the very end of the hall next to a storage cupboard where they shoved cleaning in progress signs and other items. The room was so hot and stuffy and the air con did not work properly.

The only decent thing on our stay was the 'Gusti' restaurant, the dinner was lovely and we managed to get a table with a view in the morning for breakfast. The staff were also very friendly on both check in and check out, but even after asking how our stay was and me commenting on the room one again, still no offer of compensation, she commented that they would make a note on the next time we stayed. To be honest, I don't think we would be back unless we were to get what we actually booked for :-(

The rooms are extremely old. No where close to the reputation of the brand. The staff are extremely friendly and nice which is why i have rated them. I honestly was disappointed with the room. It was no where close to fancy. Old tv with a bad remote, but good tv channels. The staff have maintained everything well overall but the hotel is crying for a refurb!

A Surprising evening . Decided to drop into the Restaurant for a quick Bite. No reservation, not a problem. Greeted by a Charming French Gentleman. Shown to a great table. Nice menu and ordered a very Tasty Randung. Let me say, we will go back . Usually not in the area . Perth Foreshore .. worth a trip .. And might even think about staying a few nights . Happy for them to invite us to check it out ...

Stayed here for 3nights with the family, first the heating didn't work in the bedroom was cold at night although they supplied a little fan heater it was noisy and dangerous using around the kids, no toilet brush, no cleaning of the rooms which after a few days of having kids rubbish and nappies backed up even when left out the front door never got moved untill I asked no clean towels replaced , and on the last night a major flood on my floor water running from the roofs through the lights and electrics not safe stall so we got out of there unfortunately we wanted to upgrade to a better hotel than where we normally stay it I think we will stick to motels in the future as we were disappointed with the overall service of the rooms and hotel on a plus note the staff were friendly and helpful
But they need to be more on top of the cleaning of the rooms for it to be a comfortable and enjoyable stay

Exceptional service. My wife, baby and I stayed for two weeks over the Australia Day long weekend. Throughout our stay the staff could not have been more helpful. The quality of the rooms were great and restaurant was first class. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for CBD accommodation.

A long shot from central city... views are good if you get a river facing room.. tried room service and food was top notch.. breakfast was adequate to start the day.. free laundry.. daily specials in the restaurant and happy hours.. bathrooms are a bit dated.. having Nespresso in the room was a nice touch!

Not at all what I was expecting. Old and shabby. The air conditioning in our room didn't work and seemed to be stuck on about 25 degrees. Staff were really helpful and apologetic but best that could be done was giving us a cheap little fan to cool the room. We won't be going back!

It was very tiny hotel different from photos online.
It was some problem with the crew on reception desk.
He is very short(not tall) and have a very big and long face.
He provide poor guest room to us. I request another room,
But he just said "our rooms are fully booked today". There are broken lights and too cold temperature in the room. They must provide more better room for us instead of lost 1 night. We lost 1night stay at this hotel because Jetstar delayed their flight till the next day.
I told that story to him. but He is very poor man, I think.
I never want that hotel next if crews do like the poor.

The service is lovely, all staff were very accommodating. Its in a good location if you don't mind walking 15 mins to the city or Elizabeth quay. Pool is beautiful and warm of an afternoon and they have a lovely bar with a deck and nice view of the sunset. I would definitely stay here again.

I feel like giving them 1 star but we are platinum members, previously espire elite so we do love this place and stay a lot.... or we did. The breakfast times changed from 6.00 to 7.00 and unknowingly my wife booked me for a 6 night stay including breakfast, my course starts at 7am so it was useless to me. After approaching reception, they basically didn't give a stuff and would do me a little box of cereal, after they pocketed a full breakfast fee. When I questioned about the times they blamed it on the pandemic, their hotel has been full most weekends. If thats how they treat regulars then newbies might want to look around.

Less than I expected for what it cost because the room is tiny. Buffet breakfast was bland and expect same menu if you are staying few nights. The day staff reception couldn t accommodate well for guest wanting to extend their stays. I hope you change your customer service and how you handle repeat customers. Few guest wanted to extended their stays as we did but palmed off with over price rates and no more vacant rooms . The parking isn t for free however the location is good and can accomodate huge vehicles though it s first come first serve for the onsite parking otherwise find a parking 150m away. I suggest to request desired space if you are driving huge car such as motorhomes.

Stayed with hubby and 2 kids, room was big and spacious. Didn't get a view but room was great price & last minute and we didn't stay in the room long enough to care. Little outdated but location is good. Pool was lovely and view from pool was awesome. We saw skydivers land on the oven right in front of us. Had breakfast the next day and service & food was good. Will stay again.
