It s in a bad part of town. The air conditioning does not work. It s easily 80degF in the room at midnight. The staff is rude and not accommodating and only say yes, it s broken but it s the weekend so no one will come and fix it . No AC for the entire building. The room is dirty and the curtains are stained. I feel like I m in a two star dive rather than what should be a relatively reliable Hilton. We re frequent Hilton travelers and this is by far the worst experience I ve ever had.

Spend the extra 15 and go ANYwhere else.

For anyone expecting a brand that you ve shown loyalty to to reciprocate, look elsewhere.

Superb hotel, well located, at the foot of a Metro station (L2 and L6). 15 minutes from the Grande Place on foot.
Impeccable welcome and impeccable rooms.
Downside: poorly soundproofed walls (7th floor)

This hotel is business class. Rooms and lobby are comfortable. Appreciated the business center for staying connected while away on vacation. If you can swing it for great value with Priority Club points, it's a good too. The service was okay. Being priority i would expect better though.

Great hotel, room are very clean, staff are very helpfull, Professional and polite. Breakfast is really good, with a great range of cerial, cold and hot food. The meeting rooms are clean and of a good standard. Food in the restaurant is of a high standard. The Bar is a pleasant place for a drink and socializing. The hotel is close to city center, train stations and buses. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

A really worn down hotel with smelly rooms in desperate need of a complete renovation.

The room was also very hot, even though beginning of December. Unfortunately the A/C was out of order, as seems to be the case with most rooms.

The location is very central and with discounted parking nearby which keeps the rate up on 3/5.

I will be looking elsewhere for my next visit in Brussels.

Not a great experience.

Not a great experience.

Firstly the room smelled like a sewer. Was so unbearable. I told them and they got someone to clean it but the smell didn't disappear.

Moved us to a new room with complimentary mini bar however the air conditioner wasn't working.

The meeting room was exquisite and the service was great.
The rooms didn't help matters I'm afraid

street view but clean and tidy. Everything from more than 100 years, but modernized.
Tasty food, nice service.
Good location in the city center. Right next to the metro station, bus stops. There are shops and restaurants across the street.

Aging 4-Star Hotel with atmosphere

This is a typical four star hotel in a historic building that has plenty of atmosphere and charmed due to its long history. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The small fitness center makes the most out of its limited size and is well equipped and maintained with everything in perfect working order.
I must admit that I was a little disappointed by the spacious but dated room which would benefit from modernization. A bathroom without a separate shower is not something I expect from that hotel category.
Overall a perfectly good place, recommended if you want the historic atmosphere, but otherwise not my first choice.

I am really disapointed with hotel service. They are an example of a hotel who just cares for money, and not for the customers. Right after the checkout we realized that our car, that has been in the hotel garage recommended by the hotel and payed to the hotel, had been robbed. We went back to the hotel and asked them to call the police, but the manager suggested that we go to the police station on our own. We asked them to call them again and the police arrived eventualy. We asked them if there is a place where we could repair our car since it was Sunday but they just said that everything is closed without offering any further help. You stayed, you payed, you are not our problem anymore.. as i said, i am really disapointed and have no interest in staying at this hotel again.

This is not a hotel; Horror Movie. The 1 STAR is because its infront of a great park for morning walks else the room lights buttons image is still in my head where it was filled with filth. Staff where friendly to some extent ... malls and resturants are close by ... the door man was the best ... strong loud chap that makes you want to move, good man. If you lived under a bridge and had to come to Belgium dont stay here its almost the same and without air conditioning.

The air conditioning is ridiculously loud, the internet is slow and very intermittent, the concierge gives horrible dining advice to places that aren t even open, the shower water is miswired and in the gym the water is completely freezing, housekeeping didn t replace my sheets but used the same old ones, the rooms smell funny, the toilet paper is that really thin kind you have to use 4 pieces of and for all of this they charged 350 because they re right next to the EU buildings. Do yourself a favor; go to the Hilton next door.

Very helpful and friendly staff at the reception gave us a hand with restaurant and taxi bookings throughout our stay. Good hotel bar and an OK location - easily accessible by car or metro. Not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity - Brussels city centre is only a 10 minute walk away though.

Superb hotel - Ultimate service.

Superb hotel - Ultimate service.

We booked the hotel about 2 months prior to our trip and received a good rate.
And i must say this hotel did not disappoint us one bit - for the price we paid.

This hotel is located very very close to all the major attractions - the grand market and the manakin pis. When i mean close - its still a decent 1 - 1.25 kms walk though the main shopping street which is very lively- no matter the time of the day.

This hotel is in the middle of the business district and hence gives a very upmarket posh feel. The Brussels nord (north) station is about 500m away from the station. The rogier metro is just across the road. The bus stop is also around the corner.

There is a large mall named 'City 2' bang in front of the hotel - which offers good shopping options and also has a large Carrefour supermarket, in case you are looking for some quick buys.

Especially for Indians - there is a restaurant named Ganesha in the food court region of the mall, which offers really awesome and authentic Indian and south Indian food items. Make sure you give it a shot.

The hotel made us feel really comfortable. We were missing some room slippers and a toothpaste. The hotel was more than eager to deliver them to the room. Not a big deal but i have had instances in other big hotel chains where i was rudely turned down.

Another instance happened when we had checked out - and were about to leave for a city tour and it was raining quite heavily. The person at the reception desk was more than kind enough to provide us a really big umbrella even without asking for it. Really good service. Keep it up !!!

Tip if you are coming from Nord station:
The Brussels Nord station has 2 exits. One on the Rue d'Aerschot and the other on Rue du Progres. Try avoiding the the exit from Rue d'Aerschot - as it opens up in one of the shabby, cheap streets littered with garbage and some really shady people around. To be avoided especially if you are arriving during the later darker hours of the day. The exit on Rue du Progres is a typical posh exit. So make sure you use this one.

Good location (close to a number of restaurants, the metro, and shops). Great breakfast. Rooms clean. Friendly staff. Nice lounge bar.

Our room's thermostat didn't seem to work, so it was quite warm even with the window open. A little bit noisy as a main road nearby. Sirens are quite regular.

Good range of channels on the tv, caters for a few different languages.

If you leave a sign on your door saying you don't need your room made up you get a 5 voucher for the bar!

Average 4 stars hotel, nothing special.

Beds are big, furniture is old. Bathroom looks very very old...

Great hotel, with spacious and neat rooms. Good conferencing facilities. Breakfast was good, but pricy (although not abnormal for up standard hotels). Location is great, next to Rogier metro and across a nice parc (Kruidtuin)

I'd sum up this page by saying 'all fur coat and no knickers'. The rooms are tired. They're all wood including the floor which gives it a very cold unwelcoming feeling. It's not particularly comfortable and the sheets had holes in so could do with being renewed. The shower was also very poor and had very little pleasure. The decor also doesn't know what it wants to be. It's neither sophisticated, cosy or calming. It really doesn't know what it wants to be. I wouldn't go back in a hurry.

Very good hotel! The rooms are clean and spacious, and there are plenty of drawers to put everything away. They also have a kettle, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was great. It looked small at first, but everything you would expect is there - eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, hash browns, fruit and veg, cold cuts, bread and croissants, fresh juices and tea/coffee.
The staff were very polite and friendly.
The only issue I had is that the air throughout the hotel was quite heavy.
The location is good. It's about a 15 minute walk from the historic centre and many restaurants.

Update: I've stayed here 2-3 more times since my review above. I continue to really enjoy my stays here, and I've noticed improvements in the air quality.

For the price this place is really very good. Rooms are clean and smart with an interesting art-deco style. Noisy if you want the windows open but there is air-con for a quiet night. The beds are basic and a little dated looking so I didn t think they would be very comfortable but they were actually very comfy indeed. Bar is nice but a bit expensive even when compared to other hotels in capital cities. Buying snacks, drinks etc. is a lot so I recommend finding the shop n go (very nearby).

Staff are super helpful and speak fluent English if needed. If you are going from here to Bruxelles Midi station a taxi is about 15, just ask at the desk and they will book one for you and even tell you which car to get into! The taxis they use all seem to have friendly and helpful drivers.

There is a table tennis table for guests use, as well as table football and a reading room with books you can borrow and bean bags to sit on.

We paid for inclusive breakfast buffet which was tasty and included waffles, crepes (from packets, not freshly made but fair enough at this price), small range of cereals, toast, yogurts, and a decent range of cooked breakfast items such as sausages, bacon, very nice scrambled eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, mushrooms...

Good WiFi throughout, no signup required.

Overall great place to stay with a lot more character than most other hotels, certainly at their price range. Highly recommended.
