Great location. Absolutely bang in the city with excellent transport links. Really plush with some rooms the size of suites. Good staff, very helpful but can get busy so most of the time the reception is choc a bloc

The rooms are the best I have been in terms of quality - price, the service is very professional. We organized an event for 300 people and the hotel staff was very active and friendly during the 3 days.

A good hotel with an excellent location, a step from the Rogier metro station, 5 minutes walk from the North Station and 10 minutes from the Grand Place. Breakfasts are tasty, but monotonous. The rooms are a bit old but comfortable and warm. At the reception, free apples and water. Total good weekend hotel

We have spent a weekend in this beautiful hotel. The care by the receptionists unbeatable, we were attended by two Spanish girls one from Murcia and one from Valencia, they helped us and solved all our doubts. We are very grateful. The hotel very elegant new and clean. Spacious and well thought rooms. Breakfast varied buffet, we recommend it although it is somewhat expensive. The price of the room very interesting. Very close to the center. Room 106

This hotel is centrally located for shopping. It is a rather old-feeling, but clean hotel. Rooms are well sized and the service was good. It is a 5 minute walk from Brussels North railway station and is right next to Rogier metro and bus station. There is a cooked buffet breakfast available till 09:30 weekdays and 11:00 weekends.

- No shower curtain (we requested it at the reception, and upon confirmation it never arrived...)
- Sauna offered in booking but no bathrobe and no slippers (Lady who eventually brought them after one and a half hours of waiting answered our 'thank you', in French well-understood, with a 'oui'...)
- Minibar empty, upon request at the reception: 'we will fill it up immediately' - never happened either.
- We booked a double room but the whole room was equipped only for one person (one towel, one soap, one bottle of water, one night table only equipped etc.)

Bottom-line: We're pretty easy travellers - but this hotel absolutely doesn't deserve four stars - sadly. We strongly disadvise.

Nice location, but room 345 is showing its age. Plastic shower is a minus. No funny hangers is a plus, as is tea/coffee in the room. Gym has rowing machine, but display not working, and chain needs oil. Good breakfast, but they allowed bacon to run out and took too long to refill. I had expected more from a Crowne Plaza.

Broadly speaking, a Crowne Plaza is a Crowne Plaza wherever you go in the world. It's in a good location with easy access to transport links and a relatively short, easy walk to the Grand Place and other tourist locations.

This hotel is somewhat constrained by its historic location and thus what they can and can't do to upgrade and modernise the building itself. If you approach it in this manner and put down slight inconveniences to "quirky charm" you'll appreciate it all the more.

What makes this Crowne Plaza stand out is its staff. From early emails to discuss options for a special occasion through to check in and then check out, they went the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possible. All-in-all, an excellent hotel with great facilities and wonderful staff.

The worst experience ever

The worst experience ever
I stayed there for 6 nights. I was out for 2 hours to come back to find I was robbed , someone has entered my room opened my closet , get out my bag and opened a tiny zipper in which there was 100$ . When i reported this to the hotel , they confirmed that nobody entered my room except their house keeping. But they did nothing at all .. all they have done was saying sorry..I was really upset from their irresponsible reaction and feeling very discomfort from staying in an hotel whose housekeepers are thieves. I think I won't ever stay in crown plaza hotels anywhere all over the world .. the worst management ever .. I'm very unsatisfied.

We ve been in this hotel for the first time 3 years ago. Breakfast was so rich and so delicious that we decided to book the hotel one more time, after 3 years. It was a bit disappointing Rooms are ok, but for sure they should be refreshed, hotel is quite old. Lobby downstairs looks nice but corridors upstairs (2nd floor) is a different story. The biggest disappointment was breakfast nothing like 3 years ago, far smaller with small choice. Unfortunately.

Horrible experience. The whole hotel smells like smoke. I got to my room and there was construction next door. My floor smelled of paint and was unbearably loud. The staff was not responsive. Not what I expected at all. I wouldn t recommend this property to anyone.

Hotel well located between the station located north of Brussels and the hyper center. Room a bit old but still in good condition.
Large breakfast room, buffet / self-service ... wide choice for a continental breakfast, dairy products, fruit, waffles / pancakes.
I do not give 5 stars, because heating problem in the hotel and this is obviously and unfortunately not assumed by the hotel / the staff. Impossible to manage the temperature of the room (forced to sleep with the window ajar in December).
Good stay all the same!

Participating to a meeting for 2 days, I have the opportunity to taste the food and use the meeting room at 8th floor. I am not fully satisfied. Food selection was typical with easy food to prepare (not something worthy)

Used to be more upscale (and thus much more expensive) place, appeal which can be felt even nowadays. In all, I liked the hotel, staff devotion and especially the rich and diverse breakfast. Two things I didn't like though: late check-in time at 15.00 and hotel needlessly pre-authorizing my card for almost 3 months now since I visited.

Entrance of the hotel, albeit a small one on the other side seems to have been better. I felt sorry for the hiker because I had to go back to the entrance and go through the alley.

Very nice hotel with a perfect breakfast and competent and very pleasant staff.
The bedroom is spacious and the bedding is comfortable.
Very well located 15 minutes from the Grand Place with the Metro and parking at the foot.
A hotel that I particularly recommend.

Nice hotel nice staff but some of the rooms face nothing, literally an interior roof area so if its a view you are looking for ask for a view. The breakfast for the price was not fair and was a disappointment.

Probably my favorite Hotel in BXL. With it's very convenient location in walking distance of North (Gare du Nord) and Central stations and within 10-15 minutes of South station (Gare du Midi) by public transportation (trams 3 and 4 from Rogier station) makes it my preferred stay during the business trips.

Apart from that it can offer a nice restaurant with good food and Belgium beers (for a wider choice of draft beers you might have to go to more exotic pubs), friendly and very helpful stuff. Besides, would definitely recommend to get breakfast there, good selection of hot and cold meal, of course including Belgian waffles!

Smelly old socks behind the curtains! Air-con did not work so room was too hot during night. Lobby bar personell had so bad english that they made me think the kitchen was closed when I asked if they had something like as simple a club sandwich.
People at the check-in/out were great though :-)

Very busy - perhaps because of the conferences going on. However, despite being so busy, the hotel accommodated all the people well with no loss of service. Location OK, but a little far from the centre.
