Lovely little theatre. It has a bar. Good facility. We went to watch a play. I would recommend it, if there is something that interest you.

Just returned from the Crescent after Watching The Great Gatsby very disappointed so very very boring - my friend and i almost nodded off - the droning on of the Narrator was at times catatonic ! ! ! Havn't been to the Crescent for a while and this performance has not made me want to rush back - we were both wanting it to end ASAP sorry not my cup of tea ! ! !

Lovely little theatre in the heart of city centre. Have had the pleasure of both performing and watching shows here. Always friendly and welcoming staff with drink knowledge. Reasonable drink prices which is always good to have as well. I always look forward to the next show that comes along. Will be coming back soon.

Small, intimate, friendly theatre. We arrived late for the show due to car issues. The DM was amazing, sympathetic and allowed us to grab a needed drink before ushering us in to the theatre.

This is a hidden gem t hats probably missed by visitors from outside the local area but it's well worth finding if you're in the area. The people who make it great have heart and a true love of theatre, dance, and music. The acoustics are fabulous.

Enjoyable night had with a good performance from what I assume is an amatur cast, also a good twist on Dickens Christmas carol with several highly amusing moments, a mix up on the seating with no help from the staff was mildly annoying but didn't ruin the evening.

I've been here with my Fiancee a few times now and the performances are always pretty great. Bar prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly. I'd recommend this place to anyone interested in catching live performances.

Fantastic venue. The open mic nights held every quarter are great. Free entry and some special talent. The main room is also very well set up for each seat to have a great view of the stage.

I went expecting "just" to be a taxi for my Mum on her birthday treat and my aunty (Hobson's Choice). Never been to this theatre before. Absolutely loved it. The Cast, with it being such an intimate Studio, were in close proximity, nowhere to hide. And they nailed it. I laughed, I was thoroughly entertained. Venue was good, all the Staff very helpful ( one returned my book i had unknowingly dropped, very appreciated). Excellent. Maggie, Mossop and Father Hobson, I look forward to seeing them again.

Lovely little theatre. Great views from almost all the seats. Performances were remarkable and will most certainly visit again. Parking available nearby so convenient to get to. Theatre offers pre-ordered drinks and snacks for intermission and post show. Loads of seats available at time of visit, Saturday matinee. Just turned up minutes before the show and seats were available.

Small and cosy theatre with a well stocked bar. Good lightening and sound, poor visibility if seated in the top rows. You can bring in drinks and food - but please refrain from bringing the latter.
