I am a chiropractor, operating two practices in Dallas with multiple doctors working with and for me. I have been using Crescent Processing for 4 years. Previously, I had been using one of the "big" processors, only to find out- that I was being overcharged and also had to buy my own terminal. Crescent's fees, service, and reliability are outstanding. They explain their services in a non-complicated manner and answer questions concisely. I have never had a problem with their service and they continue to lower my rates! I would recommend Crescent to anyone seeking excellent service with great rates!

This morning received a telemarketing call from Crescent Processing Company. After spending my time and questions with the telemarketer for 15 mins., a woman came to the phone and verified my information making sure I am the owner of the business b4 a sales rep can stop by the business premise. I explained to her I was a CFO and authorize to sign paperwork if the condition and rate are good. She replied I must be the owner of the business in order to do so. I explained " we are corporation", the president is not at the office all the time and I am authorize to do so. She further humiliated me saying unless my operation is established like AT&T, then the owner or president doesn't have to be presence......LMAO...Is this woman and company she works for knows what they are doing? A CFO of the corporation is incapable of talking and meeting with her sales rep.? Obviously you can tell this Crescent Processing Company is ignorant what a corporation is and started with poor and rude customer service. My advice "STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNDER-RATED COMPANY"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't deserve unnecessary headache and problem during business operation!!!!!!!!

THIS HAS BEEN A SCAM SINCE DAY ONE THAT THEY SHOWED UP TO MY HAIR SALON.I HAD TO REPORT THIS COMPANY TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU BECAUSE THEY WERE TAKING MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT FOR RANDOM STUFF THAT THEY HAD NO AUTHORIZATION TO TAKE OUT. BUT WHEN I FIRST CALLED CRESCENT THEY STATED THEY WANTED ME TO SEND THEM A COPY OF MY "CLOSED BUSINESS LICENSE" IN ORDER TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT.. BUT IN THE BEGINNING THEY STATED IF AT ANY TIME YOUR BUSINESS MOVES OR CLOSES YOU CAN CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT WITH NO HASSLE!! LIES!!!!!! I HAD TO CONTACT BBB TO DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY--THANKFULLY BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WAS ABLE TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT WITH THEM AND GET A REFUND FOR ME.. BUT AFTER MY REFUND I NOTICED THEY WITHDREW MY ACCOUNT BY 1,300 DOLLARS! BY STATING I DID NOT RETURN THE "FREE FREE FREE" EQUIPMENT BUT YET FEDEX ALREADY HAD ALREADY PICKED UP THERE EQUIPMENT FROM MY HOME! THEY SAID BUSINESS CARDS WERE FREE AND CHARGED ME 50$ FOR A FEE TO HAVE THEM!!! I REGRET DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY THEY HAVE OVERDRAWN MY BUSINESS BANK ACCOUNT TIME AND TIME AGAIN!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THE SALESMAN WILL TELL U WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR AND THAN AFTERWARDS YOUR HAVING TO CALL TO TEXAS WONDERING WHY THERE TAKING MONEY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.. Top notch company that put the customers first. Have had dealings with Crescent for a number of years now and would recommend them to anyone who wants a first class experience.
I have been using crescent processing for many years, until I looked at some of the charges which I feel are overpriced. I also found a billing company to handle my billing for me. I contacted them to cancel in June of last year and they told me that I missed my cancellation anniversary in April and would have to wait another year or they would charge me a crazy cancellation fee. So I waited until January 2013 and called them to cancel. I asked them what was the exact protocol I needed to follow so I would not receive any more fees and make sure my account was actually closed. I was told that my cancellation should be in April but she would accept my cancellation letter that day. I wrote an e-mail stating that I wanted to cancel as I was instructed, sent back my equipment, and asked her would I get any other fees, charges for anything and she said no. Guess what, I then looked at my February bank statement and found they charged me almost $25. I called the company to find out why I was being charged and they told me my Anniversary was not until April so they were going to charge me until then. When I explained that I had a conversation to the contrary, they replayed the phone conversation and it said on the recording just what I had said. Even with that, she said that she was not going to honor that, that I misunderstood what she had said and that I can either accept it and wait until April or she would charge me the crazy cancellation fee. So I will get an extra $75 or so in fees when I do not have any of their equipment and I am not using their services. Run away and never use this company.
What a crap bag company. Before you hire them try calling the phone number and talk to someone as though you are having an issue processing a card which you will. I have been in phone loops for two hours
I've used this company for over 7 years. They've been outstanding for my appraisal/ Real Estate Brokerage business! Any time I needed a question answered, they we're prompt and on the ball. I like that they went paperless to save our trees. I would recommend using Crescent if you need merchant services for your business.
Do not trust this companey to save you money thay lie about the savings , then hit you from behind with larger fees , then want to charge yow 500.00 to get out of there tricky contract .
Disrespectful and rude with terrible business ethics. I tried to be very polite over the phone when Cresent called for merchant services, but was forced into having a representative come to my office so I could get their offer and stop being harassed over the phone. That is ok. What has not ok was that the time was scheduled for 2pm and the rep showed up at 12pm. Then after politely sitting through their video, I said I was not interested in their product and thanked them for showing me their product. Then the rep proceeded to call his supervisor so that he could yell at me over the phone. I tried to continue to be polite, but I was not allowed to speak over the phone due to the yelling, so I had to hang up! Finally the rep got the picture that I was not happy, and finally left. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS TO SMALL BUSINESSES! There is enough stress in our lives without getting berated by ANOTHER merchant services company.
I have been with Crescent for over 3 years now. I honestly can't understand why some of these reviews are so negative. I use their online portal and have rarely had an issue.
One I can remember was after Sandy hit the east coast and the system was down for about 2 days. That is understandable considering how bad Sandy was.
I looked at my email records and I found the longest time I have had to wait once I contacted customer service. It was 4 hours and 21 minutes. I received an answer and my problem was fixed so quickly.
It has been a pleasure working with Crescent and I will continue for a long time to come.
I am a salon owner and I was with another processing company before I learned of Crescent Processing. I wish I would have switched sooner. I now have been a very satisfied customer for 5 years! The company has great customer service and AMAZING rates! I would recomend Crescent to anyone searching for a processing company with top notch customer service and rates that can't be beat!
Nothing is as it was described by the salesperson!!! Transaction fees are higher than stated, 1st month activation was an additional 60 plus 49 for my mobile terminal activation!!! There are too many other company's with good records and straight forward service to try to save a penny on their sub par business practices and slight of hand.
Higher fees and rates then our previous company. But of course their slick sales lady promised it would be lower, which is why we signed up with them. After about 3 months the fees associated were just crazy and i went back and checked and they do charge higher interest rates then our previous company. When called and talked to customer service about it they had no clue what we were talking about.
BEWARE. If you process keyed-in or CNP (card not present) transactions, such as phone or internet orders, do NOT use Crescent Processing Company. After telling the sales representative that almost half my credit business is done over the phone, and then being assured that this is not a problem, after the first week Crescent Processing decided to call this suspicious activity and is now holding over $6000.00 (six thousand dollars) of my money for 180 days. At which time I am required to call them back and ask for it. By the way, there will be no interest paid on the money they hold. So if your company has a load of extra cash laying around that you won t be needing for the next six months, then by all means, use Crescent Processing Company. Otherwise I would recommend you find someone else. I have been in business for over 40 years now and have never had the misfortune of dealing with a company that was so misleading. I switched back to First Data Card Services where I should have stayed in the first place. Their rates are a bit higher, but at least I get my money!
I've had a small business for the last 15 years and used multiple processing company's the first ten years. I've use Crescent Processing Company for the last five and have been extremely pleased. Anytime I've needed customer service we've easily obtained help over the phone. Equipment has worked well and statements are easy to read. I'm very happy with Crescent and definitely recommend them.
Excellent service all the way around. I feel like the service delivered is the same or better than what was initially promised and any follow-up questions or service calls have been promptly handled. I've been really happy with the reliability of the equipment too and haven't experienced any service outages.
Extremely POOR no Bad service. I was told one thing by the salesman and the company reps when you call are rude and sound like they are given lines to say and that is all they can say. I was told all I had to do to cancel was call them and send back equipment. I called to do that 17 days in and I was told i am in a contract for 4 yrs and would have to pay $495 to cancel. are you kidding me, I have only swiped 2 credit cards and have only had the equipment for 17 days.... I am gonna pay the monthly fee for 4 yrs they waived the annual fee again that was a fee I just learned about too. but I will not be using it at all. This company is a joke, deceitful and GOD DON'T LIKE UGLY! do not do business with this company.
