This hotel was a bit dated. Room smelled mushy and air conditioning was a bit loud, woke me up from time to time. Staffs, however were friendly and breakfast was good. Overall, I had a good time.

We stayed in the newer building and it was very nice. Pastries at breakfast were delicious however a drink carrier would be nice for coffee cups. I spilled my coffee and pastries just trying could carry 2 cups of coffee with a small plate.
Good place. Friendly staff. Clean. Please turn off the light in the room after cleaning since (with the blinds open) people can see inside the room the whole day that we're not there. Otherwise a great stay!
Wow! Great location in Palo Alto, very nice accommodations, rooms are super easy and comfortable, quiet, great price and nice surroundings..recommend for a quick stay at a great price.
Very friendly staff, lots of technology in room, and delicious breakfast pastries. Bed too hard, tv resets when turned off and has no guide, and many channels doubled. No orange juice for breakfast or even on room service menu. Not a bad place to stay, but I would try a new place if I visit again.
The room was very clean and smelled clean. The bathroom was amazing as the shower was huge with a "rain" shower head. In the morning there was complementary coffee/tea/juice, and lots of pastries. The reason for the three stars is the beds were horrible. We had booked three rooms for our group and all of us felt like we were sleeping on the floor and woke up sore.
Some minor things here and there I would improve. But overall a really comfortable "inn" (aka remodeled motel). Has all the comforts of the big chain hotels.
Got there and they had two rooms reserved and I only reserved one. when i went to check out I couldn't get a receipt because there printer was down. Now I call to get receipt and they tell me I reserved tow rooms and have to check with manager and call me back. No breakfast, customer service was horrible or not at the front desk.
Quiet room, even though it's on El Camino Real. Comfortable beds & blankets. Wi-Fi works. A/C and USB outlets abound. Room heat, curtains, blinds, fridge, microwave and coffee maker all work well. Cold floor in bath area, and no bathroom fan -- must open window to ventilate. Impractical shower stall: shower head points straight down; no full enclosing curtain, just a glass half wall, so water drips out of stall. (Room 238) Scenic grounds. Decent deli and restaurant on premises. Corner Bakery Cafe across the street. Coffee and pastries in lobby in the morning.
I absolutely love this place. I visit for business trips and love the proximity to everything. But mostly I love the flowers and old trees - it's obviously so well taken care of - the staff is awesome. We even had two family reunions here and everyone loved it.
What a charming place! I stayed here for a conference but would absolutely return for a personal vacation. The grounds are beautiful and if I had more time, I would have spent some time relaxing outside. The room itself was clean, updated and the wifi was strong. There is also a deli/convenience store onsite that was perfect for grabbing a sandwich to go. The menu at the restaurant looked good, but unfortunately I didn't get to try it out.
Beautiful landscape, nice people, great location, convenient market and food, and fair rates. A lot of LEDs in the room, so be aware if you like it dark. Large stock photography artwork is underwhelming. It'd be nice to get a couple bottles of water each day.
Very quiet, clean! The staff are very friendly and on top of everything! The beds are so comfortable! And the grounds are very well kept and beautiful! Close to all kinds of food and shopping! Very Highly recommend if staying in the area for a night or few!
LOVE this place a great place to stay if your son or daughter is going to stanford and you want to come am see them the staff here are great they take good care of you an deli in front is awsome wonderful sandwiches an little grocery store
Checked in, went to dinner came back to room and realized our room had no bath tub. Went to office asking for room with tub, was sent to different room but someone else was already there. Then we were sent to another room however it smelled of smoke. Went back to lobby and both employees indicated they could only give us our initial room. Not very good customer service will not stay again
It was a great hotel, nice staff, great aesthetic beautiful fountains and plants. Rooms were well sized, had microwaves refrigerators and awesome rainhead shower heads. Not the best free breakfast though but the did have a little market and reteraunt on site.
This hotel is updated and very clean. The front office staff is wonderful. The only reason I am giving a 3 star is because the walls are so thin I can hear the people next door going to the bathroom and the people upstairs pounding around on the floor. The lack of sound proofing insulation is a result of the age of the hotel.
Fantastic place to stay! I loved the place felt like living in a community. Located in the great place for nearby attraction if you have a car or find a cab. The one of the many things i loved about this place is it got the nice views. Very well maintained small gardens and trees. Staff is helpful, area is quite like a normal neighborhoods.
For its simplicity it was exactly what I was needing for just a one night mommy recharge. The grounds were gorgeous, everything was nicely taken care of and the staff was great.
Very nice rooms. Room was clean, modern, liked that there were 2 chairs and a small table directly outside our room so we could sit and enjoy the lush scenery and a cup of coffee. Almost had a feel that we were out camping in very upscale cabins. My young adult children really liked the area, the look of the hotel, as well as the room. Conveniently located. Corner Bakery Cafe is walking distance as well as another restaurant.
Great overnight stay organised on our first night in the USA after a 31 hour flying trip from Africa. Rooms are luxurious, and the beds very welcoming to weary traveller's. The counter service was homely and friendly. If you are lucky to be visiting you are in for a treat, don't miss the freshly baked morning pastries. Big thumbs up. Shuttle service well worth the trip.
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights while our daughter had surgery at Stanford hospital. The room was clean, spacious and a perfect location! The staff was great and very helpful during a stressful time for our family. We would recommend it for sure.
The room is so cozy and nice and the service is very good! All the employees are kind! The location is near bus stop and it s convenient to go to Stanford or other places so I love this inn and I ll choose it next time when I visit SF!
This place is pretty dated for what you would expect in the area. However, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. You do take a step back in time though, and the neighborhood isn't all that interesting unless you are on business in the area.
Great location in Palo Alto. I love their attention to the little details. I mean seriously, putting the cups and water in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again.
The property is very pretty and it has a nice market and store. The rooms are nice and clean. However, the beds are a little hard and the hallway echoes.
Room was pleasant and put together well. Location is very convenient to Palo Alto and Stanford. Layout of the buildings is confusing, and there's no real common area except for the pool.
The restaurant behind here is actually pretty good, rooms are okay. No water bottles and the little market on site was closed very early in the evening. BYOW
Awesome place compared to the other equal cost places. Very pretty. High tech rooms with tablet and HDMI port for TV. They clean the rooms really well also Creek is dried up but that's more of climate change's fault. They have a fancy water purifier for water bottles at the lobby. Overall I enjoyed the stay here.
