The room was comfortable and the amenities were good. A good place to stay around Palo Alto.

Had a very nice time, friendly service and nice restaurant
Charming inn with spacious rooms and beautiful outdoor seating. Worth every penny!
Great place to stay at. The throw sheets are amazing!!
The room decor may be a bit dated, but in a nice "vintage" way. Our room was clean and organized nicely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend the place highly.
Very nice friendly staff, from administration to maids, very excellent service. Very clean, I would recommend this place.
Unfortunately, we were unable to stay at the hotel due to the COVID-19 epidemic as we had to suspend our vacation due to travel restrictions. But the treatment and understanding offered by the Hotel has been magnificent and they have behaved with us like true good people. Thank you very much for everything and we will certainly see you soon.
Well equipped rooms with lots of nice touches. Comfortable beds, friendly staff and good showers. Definitely recommend.
Pretty nice. Room was clean, spacious, and has a nice view of the (currently dry as of September) creekbed. Restaurant had decent food and my room came with tickets for a free glass of wine for each night I stayed. WiFi is free and decently fast. Free coffee and danish in the morning, but no full breakfast included. Minifridge, microwave, and AC/heater/fan in room, plus a patio. No power outlets near the beds. The shower looked very fancy, but it took 2 minutes to get hot water and the showerhead had poor spread and was nearly impossible to switch modes on. All issues were fairly minor though. The shower just stood out because of how nice it looked compared to its less than amazing functionality. Overall good stay.
Creekside Inn was an a great experience staying here.. excellent service and nice environment , the place feels like home and the landscaping spectacular setting. Great job
So we came here for a couple days for an event up in guernville. Lynn who I believe was the is the sweetest ol' lady you can meet. We stayed in the main building (not the cabins) and they made us breakfast every morning at no additional cost, and I'm not talking just toast and coffee, but homemade cinnamon buns and a frittata with tomatoes fresh from their garden. To sum it up we had a great experience and would return without hesitation.
Clean comfortable nice place to stay with a good location
Very nice motel. Grounds are beautiful. Rooms are clean and updated.
Location isn't as natury as the website makes it appear. Wireless works well enough. Rooms are OK, but far from great (refrigerator was leaking water, bed smelled slightly, and noise from parking lot came through unsealed door. Breakfast had flies on it (uncovered pastries).
Shower design makes it so the bathroom floor always gets a little wet.
Stayed during business trip. Clean, since with plenty of parking, and small gym. facilities are a bit old.
Very nice boutique hotel in the heart of Palo Alto. Friendly staff, good rooms with very comfortable beds. I had a small balcony that overlooked the "creek" which was nice. Felt more like you were in the woods than in the city which was great. Nice bar / restaurant onsite, and also a small deli / convience store which was perfect. About 30min to SFO. Great little place.
There was road noise but otherwise a standard hotel experience.
The creekside inn was a very modern hotel with nice complimentary soaps and toiletries and delicious complimentary pastries in the morning. Some people might like the rain shower, but we felt the water pressure was too low. The bedding also could have been warmer.
Beautiful property with a creek running right through the middle of it. The best place to stay on El Camino Real.
Nice and cozy and clean! I found this place after I did a photoshoot for a young couple.
Nice hotel in a good location. Deli and restaurant on site. Rooms are older but renovated.
The hotel is in at a great location and is very beautiful. The rooms are clean and modern, and have a very urban vibe.
Conveniently located, plenty of parking, there is even a nice garden.
The rooms are reasonably sized for the price.
Overall, it's what one expects at a nice motel.
One thing that bothered me a lot is poor sound insulation, especially foot step noise from above.
Make sure you request 3rd floor rooms, or put up with the noise.
It is a very good quality hotel good customer service
I was impressed by my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the shower stall was a bit weird in that it had a door that only covered half of the opening of the shower. This allowed water to splash out of the shower, so I had to be a bit more careful not to flood the bathroom. The shower was still good, and everything else about this hotel warranted 5 stars.
This quaint hotel has great looking, modern and clean rooms. The onsite deli and corner store are great. WiFi is fast with large TV's in the rooms, all your entertainment needs are catered to.
A really chill place that has nice comfortable rooms and a friendly lobby staff.
This place had very nice staff and the rooms were clean.
Clean accommodations, friendly staff, plenty of parking.
Very expensive and the room wasn't all that great. It smelled weird for the first night but it either went away or we got used to it later on. The rest of the hotel is very beautiful and the hotel shuttles (no additional cost) are both Tesla (Model X, I think) which is awesome to ride in. It's not at an amazing location because it's not that close to any of the big restaurant strips or locations in Palo Alto, but it is still just a short drive there. The attached restaurant was not that great either
The staff is helpful and the hotel is beyond this world. I would recommend this place for everybody. I would get rid of my home and move in. They are close to anything and everything. My friends told it was beautiful. Here I lived in California for 73 years and never been here.
This hotel is very clean and the beds are so comfortable. I have stayed in many hotels over 10 years in this area and this is by far the nicest and best hotel around!
Stayed over the July 4th weekend. The combinations were nice and quiet. It's a bit weird though because the hotel staff can't actually offer you the best price like offered on Hotel tonight or the company's own website.
Incredible place. The room is gorgeous and spacious. It has a little oven top and mini fridge, of you feel like putting something together. The shower is great as well. They don't offer breakfast, which a little disappointing. But there's a great breakfast place nearby.
Excellent inn. Close and convenient to where i needed to be. Ciba resteraunt was really good.
Beautiful room and area. The soaps and shampoos are vegan ( if that's important to you) and the service was friendly.
We stayed for one night. The area is nice, the room was clean and hotel staff was super friendly and welcoming. They helped us with anything we needed, providing us with multiple rides with the free Tesla shuttle (something really cool) all around the area. They also gave us a ride to the Caltrain after our check out time. They offer free coffee and pastries in the morning for their guests; in addition they offered us a complimentary breakfast. Will definitely come back.
Great room at great rate. Heated was busted but they fixed promptly
I only stopped by to use the electric car chargers. It was a pleasant surprise to see two level 2 chargers and 2 Tesla chargers at the hotel. Thanks for doing your part to save the planet and assist the community.
Nice, simple room. Convenience store on the property with a full espresso bar and decent sandwiches is a great amenity.
It was OK for the price check in was at 330 we arrived at 445 but our room was not ready so we down graded to 2 doubles instead of 2 queen's with a balcony but we where still charged the same price for down graded room. The old Bait and switch.
Great little gem in Palo Alto. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
Rooms are nice, but on the smaller side. Many amenities, quiet but right on a major street, right by Stanford University. Free breakfast in addition to an on site cafe and deli
Not flexible at all, I have reserved Wed-Thu night (2) pre-paid. And asked to change to Tue-Wed.. no way ... no solution , then I slept for one night instead of two for 690-$ .. crazy .. of course on Tuesday , the hotel was not full ... please try to avoid this hotel ..
No breakfast , no bar just a supermarket who is open very late in the morning then you have to take your car to have a breakfast ..
This is a great value. It is very well maintained and everything is immaculate. It is a bunch of refurbished builds with some amazing landscaping. It has character and charm that you would not have at a big name hotel.
Very nice spacious rooms . Almost most of the rooms have private wide balcony. Room service and cleanliness is also worth mentioning. Provides complimentary tea coffee and Danish cakes . Has restaurant named Cibo, serves pretty nice American cuisine.
Wonderful, beautiful landscaping. FRIENDLY people. Clean rooms with patio egress. Enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day.
We were only there for one night, but not a big fan. Staff is friendly but check-in timing was slow and stiff, the fact that they keep your $75 dls deposit for 3 working days (or so hotel staff said) seems old school if not draconian, just from the past.
Rooms are ok, the additional plugs for devices and bedside plugs are always appreciated. The pillows and bed a tad too soft. Bathroom soap and others good quality. Maybe a better rate if we would have had more time to enjoy the facilities? But for the price a quick in and out visit was not my favourite.
Great location. Half mile from Stanford uni form. Close to highways. Easy parking. Market at the inn.
Large, clean room, but no shower gel, just a bar of soap and customer service wasn't exactly "friendly".
The room was super spacious. The service is always nice, but I've only ever interacted with the front desk when checking in and out. They serve complimentary coffee, tea, and breakfast pastries in the morning. I've stayed at Creekside Inn a few times now and it has always been pleasant. The only exception was one time I was placed in a dowbstairs room right by the stairs and it was extremely loud whenever someone walked up and down.
Clean rooms. Decent wifi. OK service. Nice environment. The showers are a bit weird since half of it is uncovered leaving some water to escape. Close to Stanford.
Nice hotel with many detached buildings. There is a creek runs thru the middle of the property.
DOUBLE CHARGED CREDIT CARD
I lived at this hotel for 3 nights that was paid by Salesforce, the company that provided this accommodation. And guess what... I return to my home to find that they charged around $1200 to my credit card after two weeks which the person at check-in clearly said it will only be held for incidentals!
I am worried how many more times they will charge me in the future. I need to call my credit card company and block this merchant. My advise - please check your statements for charge from this hotel for weeks after your stay!
Great atmosphere, great room. The service has been good, and I love the grounds
The inn is wonderful. There is a pool, fitness center, restaurant, & deli/shop. The rooms are nice, and the beds are very comfortable. It's close to plenty of restaurants. There are a lot of pretty flowers on my terrace. The double shower head is A+.
I am a guest on the 300 floor of the hotel. The room is not overly spacious but is very nice, and I am only a single traveler anyway. It is equipped with a Nexus 10 tablet that functions as alarm clock, room service kiosk, information desk etc... It's a nice touch to an already nice place. The staff have been very helpful and attentive.
The morning breakfast has a small array of pastries and coffees to choose from and is open for several hours even on the weekend, which helps for someone from the east coast who is still on a very early schedule.
While it is pricy, it is a great place to stay and it is conveniently located to my West coast office, restaurants, and public transport.
Standard rooms were dark, small and in need of an upgrade. Service was not good and seemed mostly put out. The grounds were beautiful.
Nice room, convenient location, friendly staff. The free breakfast pastries are a notch above standard hotel fare. The coffee was also better than most. I first stayed there in 1964. It is well maintained, and has expanded since then. The staff is friendly and helpful. Free shuttle service within 5 miles. I will return.
Clean and comfortable room, very nice workers. The room was a bit dark, but all together- a great experience.
Hip clean inn with pretty landscaping. Rooms are small but cozy and smell very nice. Plenty of parking and there is a little store/deli conveniently by the parking lot.
The room was old and all the furniture old fashioned! Towels smelled like Clorox. The double door facing the creek side were covered by a thin paper like drapes and felt unsafe. We were told breakfast starts 8:30 to 9:30. We went in 10 minuets early to get some coffee but we were not greeted and no coffee until 10 minuets after 8:30. When I asked for coffee I was told that we were early! My husband talked to the part owner, Trevor about feeling unsafe and uncomfortable as it was easy to see the inside from outside at night time. There was no sense of understanding and no accommodations. Our experience was horrible considering it was our honeymoon. We will never go back there again.
The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The amenities are nice. The customer service was very attentive.
