For a reservation you need to pay 35 per person upfront. You will get a table for two hours, and if there are no other reservations for the table, you might get to stay longer. No cancellation policy, so if you can't come due to for example Corona, you probably won't get your money back. I would never pay for a reservation upfront, the place is not that special.

Reaction to the owner: thanks for your reaction. I didn't say that the costs won't be deducted from the bill, but thanks for the clarification. There's no cancellation policy communicated in the email and I can't find any on your site. Do you have a link to the cancellation policy on your site? I would like to know if I will get my money back if something has happend. Without that there is no agreement to fall back-on.

We came in with a different idea. Upon entering it was not very clear whether we could walk on or had to wait for a waitress since we had reserved a table. After we got a place it took a while before we were offered a drink and the menu. After ordering it took about an hour before he arrived, in addition everything was cold or lukewarm. At one point, I personally thought that this place made people wait a long time for food to get more money out of drinks, but even in that aspect they failed, beckoning a server only worked 1/10 times. With the second order everything was sent back because the weather was just completely cold, some we got back after a minute, clearly warmed up in a microwave ... The music was fine, not great, a bit loud, often difficult for other people at your table. We ended up spending more than 4 hours there, not because it was so cozy or nice, but simply because everything took so long. A server said when we sent our food back that it was because they were only 3, which immediately confirmed my suspicions, the new owner likes to cut corners, both in wait staff and kitchen staff. The concept is good, the implementation is poor at best.

My advice for this restaurant: keep the music, become a real tapas restaurant, or let dishes come as soon as they are ready and don't let them get cold, and above all, something becomes cheaper.

It was very expensive for an extremely moderate experience.

TLDR: do not go here unless you are prepared to be disappointed and have very deep pockets.

What a mediocre place. Do not go here! Only bachelor parties. Pay the entrance fee, then pay for the cloakroom separately for vests, and also pay for the toilets. The music is disappointing and the staff are not friendly.

Cozy !

We had a 5 course meal with live piano music.
The food was good, but too much for 5 courses. You get 2 more main courses compared to a 3 course menu with no decrease in the amount of food, at least so it seems. Better too much then to little, right?

The live piano music was great and much more then some background music, yet you could still easily hear each other talking.

We will come again.

Saturday evening 6:00 pm, at the entrance we were kindly received and brought to a table, staff were very friendly, correct and helpful. Passing through our orders (starter, main course, and dessert) were suspiciously fast seemed almost ready. Despite this, the food was good and well cared for, a big compliment to the staff for their enthusiasm and correctness, that's how it should be and where do you see that. So 5 stars for the service and 4 for the food.

what a shame it used to be a nice place, but yesterday, after a few bad experiences, I had to look again, admission of 10 euros per person, although it is not busy that is a shame, then bought almost 200 euros worth of drinks (is a lot of money for a few drinks) the pin device does not work (this was not our fault) we are treated like a criminal, after which a small cord of security tries to challenge us. after which I walked to a fixed pin device on my own initiative and of course just paid, everything was solved in one go, this was a real damper on the whole evening, unkind staff and even worse security, I do not get angry easily but about the crazy I don't have a good word about the piano
unfortunately I can give no less than a star but this is really the last time we come here, a pity a pity

Here I can always eat cozy. That sounds a bit simple but the atmosphere of the piano and the guests is always top. The staff, on the other hand, have left (with much) a smile or do not know the word 'hospitable'. A positivity team outing should really be organized for the staff. The food is really super of class quality, every time. For the chefs: Keep it up!

Could have been nice but service is crappy. Seated for 15 minutes when no one came to take in booze. Went to the bar yourself, but you shouldn't order there .... okay ... then never mind ...

Great concept with non-stop live music. For a tip you can request a song. There is a great fun atmosphere. Good food, not exceptional. Now, the level of service and value for money varies depending on what day you visit: on weeodays it is quiet, plenty of room and no door fees. On Fridays and Saturdays it turns into a money pit, with expensive entry fee, a charge for using the cloak room and toilet. Also the bar area gets overcrowded.

We went to the flyer of the fireworks to eat here and enjoy the fireworks. We had made a reservation so we asked where our table was, but it didn't work there. After much effort, she (Mrs. 1) had found a table somewhere in the back. According to Ms 1, that was not a problem, because the fireworks would not start much later. When we heard the end of the fireworks, we were already too late to see it. When a gentleman (Mr. 1) came to ask if everything was to my liking, I regretted that they said that the fireworks would be later, but that it was already over. His excuse: yes, we don't give it up. Otherwise you will come again next week, we do not know exactly. Later on the toilet I saw the flyer again with the good time on it, the staff should know that, right? The female waitress (Ms 2) herself was very nice, but Mister 1 could not handle criticism very well. Later during the payment I indicated that I did not want to tip, because of the attitude of Mister 1 and Ms 1. Then I got a really big mouth from Ms 1. She probably wanted to show that she really did not want to tip . I am sorry for Ms 2 to work with such colleagues. Tip: If a customer finds something annoying, try to show understanding and not find reasons why it's not you. The prime rib was well cooked, but had little flavor. Fortunately, tasty herb butter was served.

Had the worse experience here, DONT eat this restaurant, we ordered three risotto which costed 14 European dollars each, and the portion of them were exceptionally small, like a kid set. The attitude of the sales were very very arrogant, for a numerous of times they seems reluctant to take our orders, ABSOLUTELY horrible experience

Cool!

It is a beautiful location with an absolutely good atmosphere. Keep in mind that it can be very busy but that also makes the coziness. If you have a table, you can enjoy a variety of live-played songs during tasty food. Also nice to linger after eating.

Delicious eaten at Crazy Pianos, many choices and drinking is also delicious. Not too much not too little, but rather served in a great way and amount.

It is here and there a bit busier as in other restaurants, but good. Before you go to Crazy Pianos!

Very nice, we go to Scheveningen once a year and always stop by the crazy pianos, nice music and nice live singers. We were unlucky this year that there were a few people in the audience who thought they were on the jury of the voice, they thought they should comment on everything and that made the singer very insecure so that the atmosphere went out. Ladies and gentlemen, it is intimate live entertainment respect the artist!

Reserved at 7 a.m. Were only after half an hour at the table after asking twice. Food took a long time before it was there. Incredibly noisy drunken guests. Staff had absolutely no knowledge of matters. Very expensive. Food was nice therefore 2 stars.

Nice atmosphere on most days but gets very crowded in the weekends. Not for the budget minded but the atmosphere is well worth the expense when the crowd gets buzzing and there are more than one performer accepting requests from the patrons.
