Very friendly and lively staff. Toilets were clean and service was fast.
It came recommended, had a great buzz and in the place and everyone around seemed to be enjoying themselves. But I just didn't enjoy the food, which should surely be the number one priority for a restaurant.
Great place with excellent atmosphere, food and cocktails
Amazing food and stupendous atmosphere. Real good vibe. Pisco sour is amazing.
The food was delicious, service was lovely and they had a great vibe.
There arent enough adjectives to describe the food here. Pricey but very, very worth it. Friendly staff, beautiful venue, had a brilliant time for my birthday. Highly recommended.
Peruvian top !!! In the Mayfair area, attentive and kind staff, cocktails and scary food !!!
Always love coming to Coya, great cuisine and restaurant
Very nice and luxury place.
The food is good 7/10
The place is great 10/10
The price is high
They do birthday surprise.
Chilean sea bass risotto, truffle potatoes, and Chicha morada for cocktails
Peruvian bar, Latin music, incredibly tasty cocktails performed by bartenders, atmospheric and, as the name says, very hospitable
Vibrant atmosphere, excellent personalised service, superb quality of ceviche and other Peruvian food make this place a perfect choice for a special night out. Also, live Latin music on Mondays is plus!
The cocktails are on point and it is newly refurbished so beautiful.
I have been here different times and always had good times and left satisfied.

Halloween Night, nightmare at Coya
Obviously ticket were oversold and how can they put so many people in the tiny space. With the pressure unbearable and not being able to find any space to dance or stand, we have to leave within 5 minutes of arrival. Coya ruined my Halloween night.
"I have very good impression with COYA in Monte Carlo and that was the reason I went the COYA Mayfair. I can't believe how they can represent the name COYA which is run by the bad management."
Awful service. I arrived at 8 pm sharp for my reservation. I was well greeted. The waiter came as soon as I was seated. She took our order, starters arrived. Everything seemed to be going seemingly. Then there was a long break. I had to call the waiter to get her attention and to ask her for the main course. Few minutes later the main course arrived. Then things went down the drain. We finished the main course at 9 and for one hour no one came to check. The drinks finished, I was thirsty but no one cared to clean the table, get more drinks or ask us if we needed desserts. Finally I had to ask for the manager, explain him the situation and asked for the bill. He was apologetic, removed the service charge from the bill but that s not the point. People come to restaurants to have a nice evening and enjoy themselves. What s the point if they leave unsatisfied. Will never come back. Food was otherwise very good and the ambiance was pleasant.
Fabulous!!! So far thr best Peruvian restaurant I have been to. The food was amazing, especially the beef, it was so tasty. My friend and I got the following; Chilean sea bass croquettes, red chilli / Chicken, aji amarillo, garlic skewers / Beef fillet, aja panca, coriander skewers/ Pork cerdo bao / Josper rib eye, chimichurri / Patatas bravas / Churros. Pricey but worth it I have been to many posh places but the food is strange and miniature portions but not with Coya here you get a good amount, I will definitely re-visit I do recommend this restaurant, the service is great and fast, staff is friendly and welcoming the atmosphere inside is calming, vibrant and relaxing. Beautiful!!
Great place for dinner and beyond! South American / Peruvian food and beverage like
is super and in addition nice and relaxed service in a nice environment
great ambience, amazing food, and impeccable service. Turns out service charge isn't given to the waiting staff so we tipped instead.
The lobster was the best choice and the seafood risotto is amazing. Overall good place for food and night out
Overpriced and not special enough to merit the image it sells.
Superlative experience with everything perfect! The service is friendly, bringing quality with a great Mediterranean/Latino smile and attentive to customer requests; the food is just stunning with a very good quality price ration; for some odd reason...you will only see "beautiful people" at Coya, where class, charme and good vibes come together! Highly recommended!
Truly fantastic food if a little outrageously priced.
Great food, but overall a very rushed dining experience for the price, with service very attentive, but a little bit too efficient. First courses placed on our table within minutes of us placing our order, which sadly set the tempo for the rest of our meal. Bill was brought to us apologetically ("my manager has asked me to") 30 minutes before our two hour reservation "window" was over - but it was politely withdrawn after we objected.
Amazing ... One of the best restaurants in London. It is expensive but service and food are top notch.
Welcomed by a beautiful secretary who makes acceptance, I found myself in a piano bar where I savored a delicious cocktail. Afterwards I went to the next room for dinner. Huge space. I ate a particular sushi that I can't explain. If you happen to be in London, GO THERE.
Amazing food tacos and corn salad was really good
Delicious eating
The service is great too
Prices are high
This restaurant is amazing!! Hands down, every single item that was eaten and drank was made with perfection and the service is impeccable too. You will love your experience when you visit.
Very good food - a bit challenging to come by if you are handicapped
Great food spoilt by rude staff. The waiter was in a rush to turn tables around, even asking if we want to see the dessert menu during our starters. I have been to plenty of restaurants and never have I been treated like this. Same situation with the drinks, where the waiter was insistent my drink was finished- when it wasnt! People are paying for the experience as well as food- coya have nailed only 50% of this.
Fun and vibrant with great food. Difficult to hear fellow diners so not great for big groups or intimate conversations. Great for foodies as dishes are shared for the table. Great cocktails and other drinks. We found the following combination great for 2 foodies and would order all again: ceviche trio (sea bass clasico, tuna chifa, corvina with truffles) and ceviche salmon nikkei, tiraditos: pez limon (yellowtail) and atun nikkei (yellowfin tuna), tacos de cangrejo(crab taco), trio de maiz (corn salad), cerdo bao (pulled pork under para picar), and solomillo de res (spicy beef fillet).
This spot is highly recommended. Good service and delicious food.
Classy restaurant with excellent food for relevant prices. Service can be slightly improved. Major downside: loud and not pleasant music makes difficult the conversation. Strict two hours only dining policy.
Simply incredible. The best meal my better half and I have ever had. Expensive, but good god it's worth every penny.
Very good food quality and amazing service. All ceviches we tried were terrific
Well, so-so. Advertising works, so it seems like a good place.
Great vibe. Service was a bit off. Food is good, in line with many of the other Asian fusion type places of this caliber.
I like it quite a lot. But it's a bit of a rip off... Yet I usually have a lot of fun when I go! Food and drinks usually are very good as you'd expect. Very clubby atmosphere, Hakkasan style. I like it but not my favorite overall. Go if you haven't been, or if you need a plan B - and don't mind the bill
Very cool Peruvian bar - not many of those around! Pricey, but worth paying for the excellent selection and ambiance.
Great food, great vibes, great theme and great music!
One of my favourite restaurant
The food is yummy
Worth a dinner! really good both in the service, in the preparation of the dishes and in the quality of the food. The location is then very accurate and the environment has its charm.
Just had an amazing brunch at Coya. I have had dinner here previously and it was the first time for brunch. Andrea and Diego were lovely and couldn t do enough for us! Truly amazing staff and will make me come back! I recommend Coya to anyone who is looking for a good brunch in London!
Absolutely perfect! It was Peruvian cuisine but i felt it was more asian for some reason? Either way, it was lovely and the staff was excellent! Professional and high class! Next time in London we are coming back here
Came here on a Friday night and really enjoyed it - the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and is tastefully decorated. Service was good. In comparison to the other Peruvian restaurants in London, the ceviche's are a class above anything I have eaten before, but the pisco sours at Ceviche and Chottomatte are better. All the other food was really enjoyable and there is a really good range of interesting ingredients on the menu. Can't wait to come back
Great food, excellent tunes, the music is super good) but terrible service. Too many bad mood dude waiters there for my liking.
Great food and cocktails. Add more vegetarian and vegan options please!
The food is rooze and especially Roseto fish, bass and excellent service
Perfect location/ambience for a night out. Live music and excellent service. Highly recommended.
Just feels really expensive. Nice atmosphere and attentive staff. But try and eat a decent amount and it mounts up. Better the weekend brunch deal. Also they get a bit of fish when you want to take something away
Good food but expensive. We were in a private room, I think it would have been too noisy had wet been in the main dining area as it also is a bar
Halloween night party special review:. The staff costume/makeup was sensational, I'll give them that. Place was so packed you couldn't move, music so loud you couldn't shout to the person next to you. Utterly devoid of class or decorum, not as advertised.
Super yum!!!! Imagine tapas, but Peruvian style! So tasty you can't stop eating!!! A foodies heaven on earth Yes we have come back a few times and will certainly come back
One of my favorite restaurants in London. Elegant setting and decoration, great service, fun crowd and vibe and eclectic food selection with something for everyone. It's not the easiest to get into which is also part of fun though not impossible which is even better. Enjoy!
Read the full review to see why it only gets 2 stars..
Peruvian food with a Japanese twist. Tried several ceviche and all were delicious, particularly the yellow fin tuna. Definitely recommend the lamb chops as well. Wine is expensive for what you get so the total price seems high even though the food is good value.
Only one complaint, please inform people when they book if you're going to turn the table. We thought coming at 7.30 on a Sunday we would have the table for the evening and were therefore surprised to be asked if we wanted dessert while we were still eating our mains! Otherwise a good experience and I'll probably be back.
EDIT: just went for the second time. Food was if anything better than I remembered. Absolutely outstanding. But the wine list is completely unacceptable, the prices were high here before but now they are ridiculous. I think there were 2 bottles around 90 pounds and the rest well above 100. Hence the low star rating. Yes I know the London food scene is expensive but this is not on at all.
Great food but a bit expensive. Atmosphere is usually good. Would recommend the ribs
You eat very well, very professional staff, always full after 9 pm, you need to book in time for dinner.
We were here on a Friday night and absolutely loved it! The vibe, decor, everything. Drinks and tapas were amazing too. Thank you to Kinga for looking after us throughout the night! We will be back! Customer service 10/10
If you like South American cuisine this is the place in London.
Very nice ambience and great semi-peruvian and asian food!
Spectacular atmosphere, the only problem is the band that starts playing at 21 (great music) in the lounge for members that prevents talking to other guests sitting at the table
If you still reading this review that's mean you are losing time to enjoy..
Just go and have the best kind of food in London
Don't forget to make an booking on the site.
Enjoy
Always happy to go back to this restaurant as they keep the quality of food.
A truly delightful Monday evening spent with senior friends. We enjoyed sharing a number of small plates amongst ourselves with favourite dishes including star anise infused beef steak, the most tender lamp chops ever, a fabulous few salads and refreshing yellow tail tuna ceviche. All washed down by eo bottles of perfect Chilean Reisling.
Such a great experience overall. Amazing food and the staff was great. Would definitely recommend!
