Browsed their used car lot online and tried to use their "Email a Friend" feature. Guess what, friend was never able to open that email because of broken links, freezing, crashing. But they got my info sucessfully and now are spaming my inbox. Bad bad strategy.

From my experience with other car dealerships, I would say Cowell goes the extra mile to keep their customers happy, even if it's out of pocket for them. If you're looking for a long term relationship with a dealership, choose Cowell. I've been dealing with them for the past 8 years, and barring any unforeseen changes in their business model, will continue to deal with them well into the future.

Volkswagen in Richmond Automall are the best! They are upfront and operate with integrity. We trust them to look after our Jetta and they haven't let us down. Extremely pleased with the service and the go the extra mile attitude to ensure your satisfaction. Shuttle drivers Chris and Joe are great people as is everyone else in the Service department.

We just purchased a pre-owned VW Tiguan at this dealership. We had a very positive experience: we dealt with John Vu, who was very polite, did not pressure us in any way and explained everything very clearly. He coordinated the purchase, financing and insurance, explained the vehicle features, put on the plates etc. The service was excellent and seamless and really focused on customer satisfaction.

I had the experience to work with a great team over at volkswagen at the Richmond automall ... we had a great experience from start to finish... As soon as we stepped foot into the store we were greeted by Aaron B. i believe he is the sales manager there. next we were in touch with Gil S .. who showed us in great detail the car we were looking at (tiguan) he showed us all the benefits of having this car and the ins and outs of it .. we were sold after test driving the car! even the kids came for a test drive and said they loved it!.. definitely a family car for us :) .. the process was painless we were then handed off to mark H. who was dealing with the financial side of things as he was very professional at explaining the details for financing and the warranty protection plan etc.. we were very happy with his service .. and lastly when we finally picked up our car it was ready for us when they said it would be and again Gil S went over the car with us and what we needed to know...as well they had the insurance guy waiting there ready for me to transfer the insurance papers over after having the car for a few days I had a few other questions which came up where i just emailed Gil S. and he got back to me quickly with the answers. Volkswagen made me feel confident with my purchase and i know that if i have any other questions they are happy to help me out the best they can. I have already referred others to this location and will always put out a good word!Great job!

I have only great things to say. When I purchased my car I purchased the extra package for dents or scratches. I had made an appt to have the service done on my car and the small scratches fixed and I must say I had great service and even had Gil Santos drive me to a place in Richmond where I had to buy a few new furniture items as I am moving next week. I had great awesome service from John Fishman who arranged all the service needs for my car and had Gil Santos help me with some paperwork as I am paying out my car in full as he helped me with the paperwork. I could not be any happier with the service from these two individuals and outstanding service. I had my car done on time as promised and cleaned washed just so happy. Awful customer service. I bought a pre-loved car there about two months ago and after one week of driving the engine started to malfunction. Took it back so they can fix it, however, it took a lot of convincing and arguing with various people so they can take a look at the car. They claim that the car is ok, but I don't trust them. I've been trying to find other solutions but the issue keeps on bouncing from person to person and nobody is willing to take responsibility. I am very disappointed at how unprofessional these people have been.

Went there to finance the new Golf R, and the salesperson didn't even wanted to run the numbers for me saying: "Our customers buy R's for cash" and lost interest in me. What a douche!

Nick Yan helped us, he was very nice and very helpful, I normally find car dealerships quite stressful but there was no pressure or nickel and diming.

I was looking to get a vehicle, and visited a couple of VW dealerships in the Lower Mainland, I specifically came to this dealership because they had a used Touareg online which fit the budget and and had low km's.

Upon walking into the dealership we were immediately greeted by John Olan who asked if we needed any assistance. After expressing my interest in the used Touareg, he worked out some preliminary pricing, and once he was able to help us hit the number we were looking for we took it out for a test drive. We immediately fell in love with it (we had taken out a Tiguan at the previous dealer) more space, great power, it fit the bill for us.

After the test drive John introduced us to Mark (the person who would get us approved for financing) and I have never seen a finance guy work so hard, we were very impressed, by how he was able to work with us to nail the monthly payment we were happy about paying. After a bit of back and forth we came to a final agreement and couldn't be happier.

One would think that after this we drive off the lot and that would be the end of it. In this case it wasn't, after having the vehicle for a one day and really having a chance to inspect it we noticed a very big scratch on the roof, this isn't something we had noticed before, John had told us we would follow up with a telephone call a couple of days to see how we are doing. When we received that call I explained that it was something I hadn't noticed, he then asked me to come down so him and the manager could have a look at it. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by John and he explained to me what would happen. John and the manager went out to have a look at the damage, and after some discussion they told me they would take care of the damage.

They have gone above and beyond and I have no problem recommending everyone I spoke with at this dealership. Nice work Cowell!

Parts department staff was extremely helpful, unfortunately I got the wrong part

Had my Jetta serviced a few weeks ago, Jackson was awesome right from the start when I entered the door up to the end when everything was done. He was very personable and not pushy in terms of getting the service my car needs (coming from a female that knows nothing about car maintenance!). I will definitely come back come back there, they know what they're doing and they do it really well.

We purchased our Mercedes GLK 250 BlueTec Diesel from Jaguar Land Rover of Richmond. We found the purchase experience exceptional and loved our sales represenative Li Chen, who was profesional, kind, extremely knowledgeable, and friendly.

We live in Peachland BC and flew to Vancouver to pick up our car. The complimentary airport service was an added bonus and very much appreciated.

One of the things that stood out for us was that every customer received the same "first class" treatment. It didn't matter if you were purchasing a new Jaguar, Land Rover or, as in our case a pre-owned vehicle.

Another thing we liked was no high pressure sales staff, the representatives listen and inform and there are no hidden agendas or surprises.

I have to say this was by far the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. Everything was smooth, easy and well organized.

A big thank you to our represenative Li Chen, to the lot employee who picked us up at the airport and to the insurance agent. You all made our experience a pleasure. Your customer service, profesionalism and courtesy is bar none.

Alex Leung was great. He was super nice and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond, giving us excellent and honest advice, which helped us save. He showed loyalty to us, the customers, from beginning to end. He was also quick to contact me and easy to reach with new updates. 5 stars for him. One of his managers, on the other hand, was a bit aggressive and our conversation with him was quite one-sided which almost led us to drop out of the sale completely.
Some great finds at this location that seem to go quick, if you're looking for a decent pre-owned vw vehicle in great condition and more.

Really bad customer service!! They tried to persuade you to buy warranty and protection plan. Then when you want to use it, they will run away from you. They are really rude when I called many times to ask for my case. They said they would call back but they never. I love Volkswagen and I thought it was a good choice for my car. However, the bad customer service ruins the brand.

The worst dealership ever. Finance a car with tons of issues and they dont take me serious. I have go into the dealership for 20 times within 3 years and every time they are very superficial to my problem. I would never buy a car again!!

Was looking for a replacement passenger door mirror for a 2007 VW beetle, which was vandalized. On-line price was $93, so I called Clarkedale motors on Main. They wanted $125 for the part. YIKES. Called Cowell, and they said price was $109. I told them their website said $93. so the parts guy said they would match price, even though they did not have to ship (handling charge waived). THANK YOU!. Had the part then next morning. Will be bringing my Beetle there for service from now on Good bye Clarkedale Motors (you suck!)

Total con. They wanted $257 for an oil change. They try and justify it by doing inspections that no one needs. The same service at the Audi dealership in Halifax costs half as much.

Went there looking for a car for my daughter and Felix helped us. He is very helpful and know his product very well. I feel very comfortable dealing with him because he's very professional and not pushy at all.

Bought a vehicle from Cowell Group VW. John Vu, our sales rep listened to what our needs were and the first vehicle that he showed us - we loved it! We really appreciated his patience in listening to us and not trying to up sell us. Ultimately, got us a great vehicle that met all our needs at a great price!

We bought our second car here in April. After our near nightmare (Salesman Mark Li ordered the wrong car and then loudly argued with me when confronted about the errors made.) The first purchase the year before was a great experience. I would recommend any other VW dealer. There is no way you can allow a Salesman to yell at the customer and keep your job. He kept his. Advice.. demand a copy of the contract you signed. Mark refused to hand us a copy and we went along with it based on trust. Never ever trust a car salesman. No matter the manufacturer. Had we had a copy we would have caught the error he made. Luckily a stream of mixed messages in the following days allowed us to catch his error before we were stuck with the wrong new vehicle. Be very very careful with Cowell and if Mark Li says hello. You need to say goodbye

I will only let the team and Cowell take care of my VW GOLF Wagon. I purchased from them in 2010 and with the extra care and service that Cowell has provided over the last 7 years, my vehicle other than regular service and recalls which I follow, my car has virtually cost me ZERO dollars. I especially like the service team, specifically Jackson, he has always been amazing explaining things to me and making me feel comfortable while I wait for my car. I highly recommend them.

I was very satisfied with my purchase at Cowell VW. If you are in the process of purchasing a VW I would go here. I highly recommend working with Yao Zhang, he will go above and beyond and is a no-nonsense type of guy. I was in contact with six other VW dealerships in the greater Vancouver area when I was buying my VW. Cowell blew the competition out of the water. I test drove a VW on Dec. 12th and drove away with it on Dec. 19th. Need I say more?!?

This car sales service company mainly sells brand cars under Volkswagen AG. My overall impression of this company is good. The sales staff's service attitude and professionalism are OK. The last time I went to the store to negotiate because the remote control battery was draining too fast. After asking about the situation, their after-sales service staff replaced my battery for free. I thank you for this! At the same time, I very much hope that they can be more timely, convenient and thoughtful in the service of free maintenance of new cars!

Great dealership, I bought my Tiguan there, their sales team are young and enthusiastic, they gave me the warmest welcome I never expect from a car dealership. I can basically grab anybody and they are knowledgable and helpful. Never have that kind of "come home" feeling in a car dealership which I can have fun and talk free with them and they willing to spend time with me.
I'll definitely refer all my friends and family to buy their vehicle there!
