MPI was done quick, which I was surprised. The next day there was a big oil leak on my non-spoted nice driveway. I called Kia right away, they showed up in 3 hrs checked the oil and tighten the cap to oil. Now as for the spot on my driveway, I'm not happy but Sam the service mgr worked deligently to make me happy, he had some come out to my home again to degrease and steam may driveway, it's all good now. Thank you Sam.

Spoke to the owner wes.. he said well not our fault and that he would need a picture or video of me holding the items in the service drive. I told him the tow truck driver can let him know he was there when I put the items in the car.. the owner named Wes then replied... well you probably know the driver. He was a AAA driver ..

The SERVICE DEPARTMENT HOWEVER!!! not organized, not friendly, not profeshinal, didn't do as they promised, failed on followup and in keeping me informed of the status, messed up on job and I had to spend another day without a vehicle so they can fix what they damaged. I DON'T RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALERS SERVICE DEPARTMENT... THEY DONT KNOW THE MEANING OF THE WORD.

FIRST OFF I DIDN'T NOT PURCHASE MY CAR HERE AT COVINA KIA..... I HAD AN ISSUE WITH MY CAR WHERE MY BREAK LIGHT WAS ON THE ENTIRE TIME WHILE I WAS DRIVING. THE DEALER WHERE I DID PURCHASE MY CAR "DIDN'T HAVE APPT" TILL 1 OR 2 WEEKS AWAY. SO I DO WORK IN LA PUENTE AND IT'S ON MY WAY TO WORK FROM SAN BERNARDINO. I CALLED COVINA VALLEY KIA TO SCHEDULE A SERVICE (OIL CHANGE) AND ALSO HAVE MY LIGHT CHECKED OUT! THEY DID TAKE FOR EVER TO GIVE ME AN ANSWER, ESPECIALLY CAUSE MY 6 YEAR OLD SON CAME WITH ME TO THE DEALER ON OUR DAY OFF. BUT ONCE THEY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON THEY OFFER A RENTAL FOR THE DAY OR TILL MY CAR WAS FINISHED. THE RENTAL AT ENTERPRISE WAS GREAT ! AND COVINA VALLEY WAS AWESOME TOO! Paul took us on a test drive, he was very nice and helpful. He wasn't super pushy, obviously still tried to make the sale but was still super helpful. He turned us over to the money cruncher salesman, David, and he was nice as well but unfortunately, once he realized we weren't going to buy that exact day, he wasn't as helpful any more. We felt more rushed out the door and there was no attempt to talk numbers any further.

Horrible experience with the service department. The service adviser tried to pass off a manufacturing defect (front bumper) as a body shop issue, which, of course, I would have to pay for. He even stated, "Plastic doesn't dent," when I asked him where I had been hit. I've had this car less than a month. The bumper shouldn't be falling off. I have filed a complaint with the corporate offices and will never use this dealership again.

2:41 p.m. No call or e-mail from the service manager. This place has the worst customer service.

I have called three times and keep being put on hold. I have been on hold for over 45 minutes. For some reason they keep on hanging up on me. I took my car in at 7:15 am, it is now 3:38 pm. I am getting my first oil change and tire rotated. Still can't get a hold of anyone and now i am going to be late to work. I would have never took my car to this place if I would have known it takes over 8 hours to get two simple tasks done. Really disappointed with their service.

EXCELLENT dealership. Ask for Marco and Sierra. Marco was not pushy at all and when it came down to pricing he was upfront about it with no bs involved. The whole thing only took about 3 hours.

I went to Kia of Carson before this and they are so fraudulent, deceitful, and unprofessional there.

Overall, definitely go to Kia of Covina Valley if you want to buy a Kia, and ask for Marco.

Great services. I've been coming since I purchased my kia soul back in 2012 when we had the warranty. It's always busy here but the staff always acknowledges by greeting while you wait. We used to come see Jamie but didn't see him. Instead, we were assisted by Uriel who answered all our questions and concerns. Our soul runs better after giving its due quality maintenance.

Service Team was very helpful, and empathetic to my broken window module/regulator. Danielle Z was great! She definitely went above and beyond to help me, and she was extremely kind. I walked in upset, and walked out happy! My normal service is done at Citrus Kia, but after yesterday I ll be changed that to Citrus Valley Kia!!!!!

I had an appointment for an oil service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday 10/26/2016. I got there 10 minutes before my appointment hoping I would get out of there as soon as possible. I thought wrong, I did not end up leaving there until 2:10 p.m. There was a miscommunication between the people working on my vehicle and those attending me. I definitely regret going there and will try another Kia dealership for my next oil service.

Great service, I got a kia forte at a great price . Kia is dependable at giving a reliable vehicle at a good price. They provide superior customer service and even have refreshments when waiting to get your car service but the service is always fast and good . I love kia and that is the only place I shop at . Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Very poor experience purchasing new Kia soul. When I refused to sign a contract because they were trying to overcharge me thousands of dollars, they were rude. They were literally trying to have me pay $31,675 (including tax, license, financing, etc.) For a car advertised at $15,781. The other great deal they presented at the same time was to pay $18,832 for a 48 month lease on the same car, but I could purchase it at the end of the lease, of course. I should have walked out, but I ended up purchasing after the price was SEVERELY reduced. Buyer beware and use your calculator. Better yet, try another Kia dealership. Hopefully, they will not behave like the slimy con artist car salesman stereotype.

Excellent! A+ service from their sales reps. Chris, Ignacio, JP, and Jordan all assisted me at one point being that I was car shopping for over 2 weeks until I found the perfect car for me and my family. Jordan went above and beyond to find the car that had every feature that I wanted and Chris helped me with the financing. Both were very professional and willing to explain every question I had. I am very happy with my Kia Sorrento!

The service here is ridiculous. My appointment was...

The service here is ridiculous. My appointment was at 10:40 a.m. I took my car in around 10:35 a.m. for an inspection. Mind you, I had an actual appointment.
I was not a walk-in. The guy, Michael, told me I would hear from them around 3 o' clock. I said alright. I called at 4 and they still have not looked at my car yet. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but come 5:30 p.m. they still haven't even started on the inspection. I didn't recieve a courtesy phone call or anything. I had to take my car back. Michael said they wanted to keep it overnight, FOR AN INSPECTION. They didn't tell me this until I showed up. Were they going to keep it overnight without telling me? This is the second time I get service like this. I understand if it's busy, it's busy. On the other hand, you should not have scheduled an appointment if you know you're going to be very busy. Not only was the service terrible, but they didn't even care. I'm not sure if it's because of my age, but I felt extremely disrespected. I'm never taking my car here ever again.

Took my Kia Optima in to have mirror fixed. Any way mirror needed replaced but someone sent the wrong mirror to be painted. In a few days they had it all fixed up. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my visit. I also had a light bulb replaced on the passenger side headlight area. I paid about $10.00 and the bulb is not working again. Can I bring it in again to have it looked at?

I recently bought a certified pre owned 2013 Kia Soul + and I'm very please with my car so far. Aaron was nothing but helpful with the buying experience as a first time buyer. I told him the price point I wanted to be at and how much I was willing to spend overall for a car and he made it happen. The payments were over my price range but then the manager came out and fixed the numbers so that I would take the car. Thank you both for working with me and getting me the car I've been working so hard for!
I would give the car 5 stars but the day after I bought my car it didn't turn on (battery was dead) and I was stuck at school for an hour and a half waiting for a tow truck to jump start my car ... So I don't know if the battery is damaged or what but it hasn't happened since.

Since 2012 I have had all my service done on 3 car...

Since 2012 I have had all my service done on 3 cars I have own at the West Covina Kia. In part because I have always been 100% satisfied.
Unfortunately because of the last two services I have had, I cannot say that any longer. One was minor and understanding, they use to wash my car and now cannot because of water usage and I am happy they are conserving. However they did tell me they will was my windows and vacuumed but never did and I wrote it off as a onetime mistake.
However the last service I had was worse. I went in for an oil change, nail in my tire, test my battery and to remove the rim lock because my key to the rims was damaged. The guy at the desk told me they cannot remove the lock because they do not have a key. I didn t tell him my key has been damaged for 2 years and when I get tire rotations at this location they always seem to have a spare key to use and charge me for the service. The second was the wash service what is minor again they said they are going to vacuum and clean my windows and they never did. The third and for me the nail in the coffin is the nail in my tire I asked them to remove. The customer support men told me no problem they will look. Got the car back and I asked he just said it had no nail, I asked you sure my car was flat when I drove in? he said no nail positive. The next morning my tire (the same tire) was flat again! I took to a mom and pop shop and the guy found it in seconds and I had to pay him to fix it.
I never thought I would say this after so many years with Covina valley kia but I official y have to look for another place to get my service done after so many years with them.

The prices are fair...and they have free coffee, water and snacks for the wait.

The guys here were all extremely helpful, I went for a transmission fluid service and they where all pretty helpful. This gentleman named Mike was the best of them all I told him I was hungry and he not only told me where to eat but also decided to make the time to point me out and walk me half way there. And I know him doing this was not car related but it was a small thing he did that I don't believe any one else would have. Thanks Mike!

Tip, always call for an appt.

I have mixed feelings about Covina Valley Kia.
The Sales team was great. I had an opportunity to talk to Fausto the first time. We just wanted to test drive the Kia Sedona and we were able to, no questions asked. After looking at other vehicles, we wanted to go for a second test drive. This time we met Trey. He was very respectful, did his best to answer all our questions, and took the time to talk about the different features from different models. He wasn't pushy. My wife and I honestly enjoyed speaking with him and also working with him on the purchase. Then came the part with the finance team. After we agreed on the numbers and provided our credit information, the credit scores came out fine, we just needed to sign the papers and we were good to go.

We ended up waiting for over two hours to complete a 10 minute process. Many people would think that this wouldn't be too bad, but we had our 1 yr old son with us who had just started walking not too long ago. He started to get fussy and restless, was walking all around the place, and at times didn't want to be held, etc. While we are thankful that people did not complain to us, as a parent those times get very difficult because you don't want to cause problems for other people. I know that we had agreed upon numbers and everything before some of the other families were there but they went first. We asked the manager several times how much longer the wait was going to be and whether my wife could fill out her portion of the paperwork first so she could take our son home because our child was getting restless. Unfortunately we could not but we were being told that we would be in soon. Even then it took over an hour for us to go in. It took a manager to go in and yell at his Finance people to call us in.
Then, after all our paperwork was signed and the car was ours, we took the car home. I get a call the next day asking for more info for my wife. So I took the information there and was promised I would be contacted so that they could let us know if everything was squared away. Promises to call back were not met. I called many times to leave messages for them to call me back, but did not hear back. The finance lady didn't seem too interested in letting us know everything was fine. It took 2 whole days of not being called back before I just spoke to a different finance person and found out we had no more issue. Even a courtesy voicemail would have worked.
For my inconvenience, they offered a full tank of gas and detailing.
In summary.. Sales team is great. Finance team is not so great.

Came in last Friday for diagnostic service and wait time was too long left before i could get my car looked at was a bit bummed that service was so long so i reached out to service manager Jim and he made things right and got me in today with a rental due to The previous circumstances. He made it right and him and his staff took good care of me. Danielle was a sweetheart and didnt take to heart my first complaint and made things right. She was a sweetheart and was professional throughout whole process. I highly recommend thus dealership and their service. Will come back

Mike in service!!!! See him for any maintenance or car troubles! He is honest, personable and treats his customers with respect. He follows up in a timely manner and ALWAYS returns phone calls! When dealing with Mike on a car issue you are working with someone who cares about your time and satisfaction! He is deserving of RECOGNITION from Kia of Covina for securing customers for Covina through his exceptional service!!!
BTW we also have a BMW- I also reviewed them but they scored a 1 Star due to lack of follow up after numerous calls! Great service goes a long way and deserves to be acknowledged! Thank you Mike!!

first off i live in gainesville ga my daughter lives in monrovia ca. when i was searching the internet looking for my daughter a car covina kia was the only dealer that did not tell me well wait you come to ca before we can talk. even after covina kia and i were done chatting on line they called me. to find out exactly what we were looking for. when i got to california i made an appointment and 2 hours latter we walked out with a 2013 kia soul. what a great company to deal with . keep up the great work.

I went to Covina Valley Kia to get an oil change for my optima and Marcus is the one who helped me out. I like how he explained the services they offered for my optima and recommended what I needed to get done depending on the mileage. Marcus is great and recommend what I need to get done to keep my optima safe at all times, in fact I need to get my brakes replaced since they are running on low, asap. I look forward to getting my car maintenance here at Covina Valley Kia in the near future. Thank you guys for doing such a great job!

I had a service repair scheduled a week in advance. They knew exactly what part was needed for my repair. I came in on appointment day and was told they ran out of the part needed and the master techs were not even in house to do the repair anyway. I completely wasted my time. No phone call before hand, nothing. The service representative failed to even apologize for the inconvenience and couldn t care less, since I did not purchase my Kia from their dealership. I would have been okay with a simple, we messed up and apologize for the inconvenience, comment, but this representiative had the, oh well, you didn t buy from us so... we don t care type of attitude. I now know, if I ever wish to purchase a new Kia, I will not be coming here.

This is the best car dealership trust me when I say that you won't be disappointed if you purchase your car from covina kia.. from the sales man,to the finance department to even the manager they will help you and explain to you the fine details and get you into a car that you love. Me and my mom have both purchase cars at this place and I must say I love this dealership they are kind and trustworthy and even after buying my car back in 2018 I am still happy with the way kia dealership does their business they make paying car payments convenient and every one I come into contact with is very helpful and caring they deserve recognition for being a trustworthy dealership that cares for its customers ..thanks kia.

Easy, no pressure purchase from beginning to end. Eric Soto was our excellent salesman - very friendly, knowledgeable & professional. Also, every team member that we spoke with while there had a smile on their face and asked if we needed anything. The whole process took just under 2 hours. I drove away with a 2016 Kia Soul & a smile on my face:) Later that day...I recommended Eric Soto @ Kia Covina to a friend...she bought a car from him the next day and then thanked me for the referral:)

I wont rate due terrible customer service and unprofessionalism from Chauncey Snyder. I would never trust anything comming out of his mouth! If I has listened to the reviews, I would have never gone! My rating is for Sam Dalati-Service Manager who asked me for another chance at Covina Kia. He came to my home and pick up my car and oversaw every service from top to bottom. He even found problems not yet noticed by me. Sam did an outstanding job over-and-beyond! As a result, I will only deal with Sam! An in-service on customer service is well needed for the other staff!!!As for Chauncey, he needs another job or to be far away from customer service!

Then to find out that s how long there batteries r made to last. So having to buy a new one. With 3 year warranty. Come on Kia. Do something about this.

The service dept at this Kia needs some work. I'm leasing a Kia Optima which has begun to squeal and is quite embarrassing to drive now. The first time I took it in for this issue, the mechanic heard nothing which was a shocker because the sound is pretty loud that it turns heads on the streets. But when I got the car returned to me that day, I understood why the mechanic heard nothing, my a/c was on full blast along with my radio. The lady at the counter was insanely rude, didn't even speak to my other then here is your paperwork, handed me the keys and pointed out the doorway across the lot saying my car was over there. When I get to my car, the seat is covered in plastic wrap, paper floormats are still there along with the service tag. A/C is turned up all the way and the radio is on a different station playing loudly. Drove away and the car still squealed. Since it's a least car I was a bit pissed and said fine, lease is almost up, they can't fix it, well it will be their problem soon. But again, its an embarrassment to drive, so I attempted again to bring it in. Discussed the problem with the front counter person, car went in the back for repairs. All day my car sat at this dealership, no one ever called me to discuss the issue, absolutely nothing. I finally call an hour before closing because I'm now concerned, I need my car back. They say oh your car has been done. There was just some debris in the belts and pulleys. So pissed again they wasted my day but hopeful the problem was finally fixed, I drove down, picked up my car. Drove away. And again, SQUEAK. Second time this car has been there and their mechanics can't seem to get the job done. I have now made a 3rd appt for this same stupid problem. The sad thing is, this is a leased vehicle which I had intended to buy if all was well, first time driving a hybrid. But now that this place can't seem to fix a problem with the car, has turned this whole thing into a big headache, they just lost my business. I will not refer anyone here for purchase or service. Furthermore, if they can't fix the problem at this next visit, this piece of junk is all theirs because my lease is up and I'm walking far away from that piece of junk.

I had my oil changed and cabin air cleaner replaced, Wed. June
15, 2016.
The service adviser was very pleasant William Enrique.
With that being said the Mechanic Marin Chavez did an incomplete job.
The air cleaner box was left unsecured, which I discovered
when I heard a sucking of air. I had to replace and latch the air cleaner
top.
The cabin air filter was replaced and the items in the clove compartment
( filter is located behind clove compartment ) where thrown in such a way
that door would not close correctly. Also grease smudges was on
door, and passenger door panel.

If you have any engine problem or recalls contact the service manager he is the nicest and helpful and highly professional manager .he has a soft voice he's name is Sir Sam.
And a front desk service representative. One of the best honest guy will check and explain what is the real problem of the car he will not ripoff any customers. 5 star for this

This is my 2nd experience with Kia Covina. The 1st time we got a smoking deal on a 2017 EX Niro from the owners son Westly. We're trying to work something out the 2nd time around; we had several bad experiences with previous salesman who were not truthful but now, working with Anthony has been great. He's very communiticative and extremely up front with us with no pressure or sales tactics. Although we didn't make a deal, We enjoyed working with Anthony .
The owner's son, Westley seems to be trying to work with us to earn our business again. I'll let you know what happens were like 60 bucks apart, will keep you posted if we get the Niro 2020 limited plugin.

The best place to take your Kia for any kind of service is Covina Valley Kia. First oil change was on the house. My second oil was not free but when asked about a coupon they printed me one on the spot and saved me a few bucks. Plus they are very quick. Thanks guys!

This review is about maintenance, I have requested three appointments and had to cancel them all because of a two hours waiting time for oil change. I will continue going to the local drive thru 15 min oil service down the street from the dealer.
