No integrity. We had a verbal agreement and agreed upon purchase price of a used vehicle at the dealership, and a scheduled appointment the next day to come sign the contract and pick up the vehicle for our son. Copies of paperwork with our name as Buyer were even sent to us to review. On the day we were to pick up the vehicle, I received a call saying that the Used Car Manager had authorized to sell the same vehicle to another party. Sales Manager was unapologetic and said that is just the way things go. Shady and dishonorable. Buyer beware.

Our service advisors was Mat Dodson. He did an amazing job. My wife and I are very satisfied with our service.

Had my car serviced and they got me in without a appt. Thankful.

The last couple times I have dealt with Covert has been an excellent experience. Chance, Rick are blessing and everyone who made this happen. I traded my car and wasn't even trying to and Covert did all the right things to make my purchase a God blessing. Thank you I love my vehicle.

Detail cleaning of 2500 crew cab - exterior OK but wish I had requested no greasy wipe down of interior dash. The slippery dash mats, and all vinyl is not a desired feel or anything like the new truck I purchased. Disappointed bed was not at least washed out on a $150 detail.

Ask for Devon he is knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. I was really surprised when I stopped in on a Sunday to just look around, he greeted my grandson and I. He ask a few questions then took us out and showed us two great vehicles. When I told him I wanted to make sure that I found the best vehicle for us he told me about their website. He suggested that I look up the vehicles that I liked and do some comparisons. We went right back on Monday and bought the awesome suburban that he had showed us the day before.

As always, we were treated excellent, and they did excellent to get our problem fixed in a rush since we were leaving town.

My salesperson was great his name was Tim Juarez and he went above and beyond searching to find the type of vehicle I was wanting and he did it and above and beyond thanks a bunch will deal with covert Bastrop and possibly Tim Juarez be still there next time I need a vehicle

I was able to test drive the car with no pressure. The price for my new car and old car was very fair and I appreciated that. When I m ready for a bigger car, I ll be calling Rafa again!

Covert Chevrolet ROCK's. I dropped my vehicle off for a brake job on Tuesday. I received a call from JD in the service department and said I didn't need brakes. That was AWESOME!! My vehicles has over 100,000 miles and I thought for sure it needed brakes. JD saved me 100's of dollars where they could have done the work and charged me anyway. I love HONESTY and that word is hard to come by now days!! I could have taken my H2 to any GM store, but now I will make the drive to Bastrop for the excellent service. GREAT JOB!!!

Not at all happy from this experience. And all I did was talk to the GM Mr Covert himself on the phone who promised to take care of me personally. I called him a few weeks ago and told him I wanted an SUV and he told me to keep looking online at their inventory and when something came up, give him a call and he would take care of me. Well I found something and called the dealership and he was gone. Then the receptionist transferred me to his cell phone to leave a message. I called back a few times after that he he just ignored my calls. He never called me back. Wow. That is strange right? If its someone who can't be honest let it be at least the sales person right? At least he would be easier to get rid of. But if the GM (owner) himself can't be honest and dedicated, then I guess that's a big problem for business.

Professional, friendly, personal. Richie was very knowledgeable and took time to explain what was needed and why.

Have purchased several vehicles from Covert however will now reconsider future purchases. Service has come to a halt at Covert. Drop your vehicle off and they state they will keep it for 3 or 4 days. Naturally COVID is the excuse for the day. Try hiring more technicians, there are people out there who want to come to work. Very disappointing service

Just bought a nice Yukon from Covert. They were very fair on the price and made trading my old vehicle very simple. The guy I worked with went out of the way to find some headphones that come with that model. I was impressed with the guys I worked with and even though they are over 2 hours away from my home, I would definitely do business with them again! I might even take them up on their free delivery next time.

I am very disappointed with their sales service. We have purchased 4 vehicles from the Covert group and were looking for the fifth. I went and spoke with a salesman about a vehicle I saw on line. Well the vehicle hadn't come in yet so I had to wait a week. When it did get there I never got to see it because they promised it to someone else. Owell. Now it's been three weeks and no call from them about any thing else . I guess Covert doesn't want my loyalty so I'll go somewhere else. They have lost business!

My buddy went to buy a car. When bank ran the Vin it found it was a wrecked car. FAIL.

I contacted this dealership on a Monday I believe to obtain a price on a truck I was interested in. Never heard back. Submitted my info again that evening thru website. Heard back from Mr Gebler next morning when I asked for price. He said he would call me back. He did not. Again left my info thru their website. By afternoon next day with no contact from them I wrote a letter thru website expressing my disappointment. I recieved a call from Mr Gebler 30 mins later asking what I was interested in. I then explained to him that I had already spoken with him the morning before. He then apologized and finally called back with a price. I drove over an hour next morning to dealership where they offered me $1000 trade in for my 116,000 mile 95 vette and told me it was "rough". It is not perfect but is in good condition. I left. It took 3 days to obtain a price only to be insulted after an hour and half drive to them. I call that lack of respect.

If you want a great car buying experience I would suggest talking to Steve McGowan in sales and Ben in finance. I purchased a GMC 1500 from Steve at the end of 2017 and was very pleased with the car buying experience from the first phone call on.

I have had some ID theft issues in the past and keep my credit reports frozen. Steve was very patient with me while I got them unlocked and Ben managed to get my financing handled in spite of only getting 2 of the 3 reports unfrozen.

While I am sure the rest of the staff is great I can personally attest to the no-pressure helpfulness of Steve and Ben. I had a great car buying experience at Covert thanks to these couple guys. THANK YOU!

Covert Bastrop exceeded my expectations and needs from the moment I walked in the door. Greeted with professionalism and that continued though out my time at the dealership. I had to get my side panel repaired here and was really impressed with service and the price was not overwhelming.

Pretty disappointed coming here on sunday. Wanted to look at some yukon xl models couldn't find a salesman outside. I know it was a little warm out but come on. Covert was spoke of so highly that most of my family have bought from them as one of them worked for GMAC

Terrible service...3 hours for an oil change and still left greasy hand marks everywhere. Did they even bother to check the air filter? Probably not...a Maintenance report? Not that either. Not sure no one ever said!! It's sad when you spend $70,000 and get treated that way! Very poor unprofessional service ..classic case of over promise and under deliver. I'd rather pay a little more for the vehicle up front and receive at least satisfactory service .

I inherited my 2014 Silverado from my uncle, who passed away in December 2018. Not long after I started driving the truck, I started noticing it seeming to shift rather rough through gears (an automatic transmission). Still under warranty, I took it to Covert in Bastrop since it was the nearest and best-rated Chevrolet dealership. My service advisor, Mathew, was friendly and informative. It was the torc converter that needed to be replaced. I was told that I would need to leave the vehicle for a week to a week and a half. I ended up having to rent a car while I waited, because they couldn t provide me with a loaner car.
I got a call saying my truck was ready to go almost 2 weeks later. I asked about reimbursement for the rental car and I was blessed with a full reimbursement. Thank you, Covert!
But...
Now, I am feeling a shudder. I have been told by multiple people that it is coming from the transmission. I went back to Covert and spoke to the same advisor, Mathew. He reassured me that their service was done thoroughly and that it was possibly the transmission fluid that was causing the shudder. Apparently, I should have gotten the updated fluid, but they couldn t say for sure if it was the updated fluid that their technician put in. I was told I could get it worked in and to bring the truck back after the weekend. This was on a Friday (3/29/19). On Monday (04/01/19) afternoon, I called Mathew twice, left a voicemail, and left a voicemail on the manager s voicemail. Nobody has ever responded to me. I got the feeling that I must not be a valued potential customer. I have now made a 2-hour drive to All-American Chevrolet in Killeen, where the truck was purchased, to see why I have a shuddering transmission. I m told it is most-likely the transmission fluid needs to be updated.
I hope that the staff at Covert in Bastrop will not ignore their customers the way I was ignored. I would have been a loyal customer, and had plans for some updates on my truck through Covert in Bastrop. I m now a happy customer at a much further location.

Our salesman Devin Adams did an awesome job of getting us our new 2021 GMC Denali 2500hd truck, when it looked like we were not going to find a truck before the employee discount ended. He followed through and called me when a vehicle became available and started processing the information while we were on route, as we live 100 miles from the dealership. When we got to the dealership the truck was ready, and exactly what we were looking for. He was very knowledgable of the truck's features and worked to expedite the process, including our trade-in and financing. my only disappointment was the trade-in allowance, although he did help to get us more than the original offer. Everyone was friendly and profesional and made it a good experience. All of this took place on New Years eve. We would definitely buy from Covert again and recommend it to others.
