Dropped off a vehicle to replace a hose, left w/ the whole vehicle shaking! Mechanic refused to fix it claiming it wasn't there fault and then tried to upsale me on the fix after telling them I'm not paying it! Had to get in touch w/ chase and threaten to return the car to make them fix what they broke. If you have options don't come here.

The best dealership to go to very polite and honest and helpful especially the seller Chris he was very helpful and gave us the truck how we wanted it Wil definitely go back and recommend to family and friends

Today, Dec 19th. Very disappointed. 2 days ago I made an appt for 0930. My service guy just came and told me that they have drained the oil....its 1120. 2 days ago I asked for a loaner car to run a few in-town errands and was told they couldnt promise anything. Today Robert asked "Jeff" about a loaner and his answer to Robert was short and rude in front of customers. I drive from Kyle to Bastrop for my oil changes bc my husband and I have bought 3 new cars from here in the last 2.5 years and the service here has always been great. Very disappointed today.

Dec 21- who would I speak with when I call as you requested?

We had the catalytic converters stolen.
I got the new ones from Henna and installed them - we still had problem from the PCM.
I tried both Henna and Covert GMC service depts only to be told they were 3 weeks out to look at it.I called you guys and were told to bring it and ya'll would work me in.

We were looking for a used truck to pull our 5th wheel camper, so we stopped at Covert while travelling from Houston to Austin. We were met by John Cardone as we entered the dealership, and we loved our dealings with him over the next hour of test driving 2 vehicles on their lot. We corresponded with him several times over the next week as our truck search continued. He was very helpful and patient with these first time truck buyers. Even though we ended up buying a truck elsewhere, we had the most positive experience here with John of the 15 + other dealers we dealt with over the next week, in many parts of Texas. Update 5-07-2019:
Received an email from Covert after my first review to contact them to discuss the issue. I chose not to because I had no hope anything would be done.
Returned the car end of February 2019 again for two weeks because passenger side floor board again got wet and told the issue was located and corrected. Couple weeks later on April 26th again returned for the same issue of wet floor board and is still in the shop. At this point I responded to Covert's email on April 26th as to what options I have and no response. Any suggestions?

Two years ago we purchased a 2016 Malibu. Couple weeks later returned it couple of times to have some paint issues corrected. This led to major water leak throughout the car due to the antenna being replaced incorrectly. Car was in the shop for over 4 wks or more both times and the whole experience was a fiasco! Spoke to the sales manager about our options as the car only had 13k miles and he was not at all friendly or encouraging. We chose to trade it in for a 2017 Malibu. August 2018 had a major water leak due the seals on back windshield needing to be replaced....the trunk and floor boards were drenched. Car in the shop 4 wks. November 2018 - returned the car because the passenger side floor board was again wet...dealership could not find the leak. In the shop another 3 wks. January 2019 - again returned the car because the same issue....passenger side floor board wet. Another 3 wks and cannot find the issue....at this point do not know what do. Getting a second opinion.

Everything went well. Employees were very friendly and helpful. My advisor, Bree, was outstanding. I left some items in the loaner vehicle and she found them. And mailed them to me. Great customer service.

First of all I had to wait weeks to bring my car in to get serviced. The guy who took my information down when I got there did not explain to the service department what was wrong with my vehicle so not all was fixed. I also asked him to have the service department to call my phone number not my husbands or sons. But no they called my husband to return the loner after a few hours back because it was sold. I never heard from the service department until my husband called to say they were done. So no I was not happy with the service of this visit.

We had been to Covert a couple of times to have our vehicle serviced but this time we were there to buy a vehicle. We were scooped up quickly by Rick Zamora and in no time he found exactly what we were looking for! Working with Tim in Finance was a great experience, he's such a nice guy! We were in and out in under 2 hours...a first for me at a dealership! I absolutely love my Chevy Cruze! Thank you Covert Bastrop!!

My husband and I went to Covert Chevrolet looking for another SUV to replace our Suburban. Our sales guy Devin showed us a GMC Yukon that was perfect. The car was a good price and the process to get the car was quick. Devon made our trip there an enjoyable experience. We will be back.

Just picked up my new 2021 GMC truck from Covert in Bastrop.. Devin Adams was most helpful in the process of finding and acquiring the truck that I wanted and getting it to me. I had purchased from Covert before and I was really pleased at the service they gave me. They came to Houston and picked up my truck and left me with a loaner while they figured out the issue.

They will also deliver the vehicle so you dont have to drive to the dealership when you purchase it.

This dealership was refreshing to deal with. Rick Bowles gave me an higher trade in than anyone else offered.

I had made an appointment for an oil change but the only information in the computer was my name. I didn t know this until I showed up at my appointment time. It was a busy Tuesday afternoon so when I showed up they were booked! They explained to me what happened and said if you can wait we will fit you in. They were amazing and super nice! I appreciated them getting by me in that day!

I stopped by the Covert Bastrop dealership late in the afternoon. I spoke with Harry Green concerning trading my car in for a van. He had the car appraised within a few minutes and we quickly came to an agreement. Due to the time, we decided that I could pick up the new van and complete the transaction the following morning. When I arrived the next morning, the van was ready for pickup. Our transaction was quickly concluded. Professionally handled in every way.

Edgar Rojo is a great sales person from beginning tell now and I m sure tell the end great job. I would recommend him to anyone.

We wanted to trade in our 2013 Sierra 1500 for a new 2015 Sierra Denali HD 2500. We visited a few local dealers without any success. We couldn't find the color and features that we wanted. Beside that, we couldn't find a good deal. We contacted some dealers out of town by phone and kept looking over the internet without luck. Until we found the truck exactly as we want it in Covert Chevrolet Buick GMC Bastrop (about 200 miles from home) in their website. We got in contact with Rafael Lopez, salesperson. No pressure, no scam,the best deal! Since our first call , he took really good care of our business. He answered all our calls and texts. He sent us pictures of the truck. He kept us updated. A nice guy to deal with, very professional. We added some accessories, like the splash guards, fifth-wheel,etc. and the service department did a good job installing them. When we got there to pick up our truck, all the papers were ready, no change in numbers, no surprises, everything was right. Was a smooth and pleasant transaction. Rafael is bilingual, that is a pro for those of us that Spanish is our native language. If you're looking to buy a new vehicle , give Rafael a call, he's trustful. Highly Recommended!

The lack of communication. The service advisor called me and said oh I know who you are hung up and didn t give me any information. He pretty much told me it s cold outside that s why the car is acting up. Then when I said it s been doing that I had to wait three weeks for the appointment and it was hot outside previously he just said okay. There s something wrong with the vehicle and telling someone it s cold outside that s a poor excuse.

We enjoy working with Raphael Lopez. He is very personable and friendly. He treats us with respect and kindness every time we are at the dealership whether we are only inquiring about a vehicle or purchasing a vehicle. He cares about his customers and not just the sale. I have never had so much difficulty finding out if a vehicle was available. I tried for eight days to get someone to tell me whether or not it was available for me to look at because I live clear across town and didn't want to waste the drive. Day 1, I was mentally prepared to buy it if it was available. Unfortunately eight days and three sales guys later with me being told that they will call me when they know... I find out that it was transferred and sold within the last day. No one even offered to let me reserve it or anything despite my repeated interest for eight days. If you are really interested in something they have then make the drive over, don't trust them to handle your inquiry over the phone with the same sense of urgency - even in the middle of covid. I'll be thinking twice before doing business with this dealership.

The thing I would like to say about covert is they are so different because they don't push you into buying anything. They talk with you and wait for you to decide, maybe that's why they have more than one dealership.

I have had my suburban for about 9 months. About 4 weeks ago, the right rear tire began loosing air. I have filled it up and within a few days, it looses about 6 pounds of air. I understand that the standard methods to look for the cause of the leak were used, but a reason was not found. I was told they didn't know what else to do, so I just needed to live with it. That is not acceptable to me. The woman I spoke to very politely told me to track the position of the tire every time I am parked and made some other suggestions that I could tell she was grasping at thin air for. I do not blame her at all. I completely understand that she wasn't sure what else to do, but I would prefer being told that AND to have assistance from Covert in contacting the tire maker, the rim maker, and anyone else that could explore the reason for this happening. This was an expensive car that I plan to own for many more years and having to put air in the tire weekly seems to be an unreasonable burden as is being told there is nothing more Covert can do to help me...just bad luck! I'm just not satisfied with that answer.

I was down from Colorado and apparently got some bad fuel, or at least it seemed like it. I left it with Covert and rented a truck and drove back to Colorado to get back to work. Covert did $1065.42 worth of work on it and told me it was ready to pick up. I drove down from Montrose, CO to get it. I got about fifty miles from the dealership and I suddenly realized the truck was having the same issue as before. It was 430pm on Friday afternoon. I spoke to Jesse in service, and he suggested I go to the nearest dealership in Georgetown, since it was open on Saturday. It was 105F outside, and I had both my dogs with me, and their food and all my belongings were up in Mineral Wells in a motel.

He didn't say, "I'm really sorry. We'll get someone out there to pick you up and put you in a loaner," which might have gone some way toward easing the problem. He didn't even offer to send a wrecker and take me to a rental agency. He just suggested I get to a dealership and get a motel for the weekend.

I went to Hewlett Chevy in Georgetown and vented at them. They were nice enough about it, but there wasn't anything they could do at 5pm on a Friday. I called Chance Covert's cell number and ranted incoherently at his voicemail and never got a return call.

I made it back to Mineral Wells, never getting over 60mph. I'll take my truck to the shop here Monday.

I'm sure that everything Covert did was done correctly. I'm sure they did $1065.42 worth of work on my truck, replacing filters and such. Unfortunately, they didn't actually fix what was wrong, and they had me drive down from Colorado to get it and then left me sitting on the side of the road on Friday afternoon in the August heat with my dogs. I called a friend in Mineral Wells and offered him $200 to be ready to come get me if the truck died completely.

I wasted a grand on repairs, a grand on a week's rental, and two day's drive time. I knew going to a dealership would be expensive, but I figured I could depend on them to be competent to correctly diagnose and repair a Chevy truck.

We had a wonderful experience purchasing our 2018 GMC Denali 2500 from Covert. My husband and I HATE car shopping, but we needed a truck, and after 2 months of shopping in Austin, we decided to look at Bastrop. We found what we wanted online, then called to discuss our budget. Covert was very willing to work with us. We were able to go in, take a test drive, sign the papers, and be out the door in about an hour's time. We didn't feel the normal pressure and BS that most car dealerships put you through. We will definitely go back for our next vehicle!

We traded a beautiful truck here Herbert Garcia was our sales man. After we signed All the papers we looked online. The truck was listed at another price. We contacted the sales person and his excuse was that the prices they have online are different from what they have on paper. Covert says they pay over 1000 on trade that s a lie. Our trade was valued 2,000 under. Our trade truck was loaded since we installed Katz leather seats. We wanted to finance true Chevrolet since they had really good deals the salesman said that financing wasn t available. That was also a lie. Online there was special financing for that truck. Since all the paper work was done they installed leather seats. Which we payed for we didn t even get to chose what design we wanted for our seats. Since we had already signed for the truck we weren t even considered. The quality is cheap compared to Katzkin and we have to pay for it. We are truly disappointed we were lied to from the beginning. If we had never looked online we would have been stuck with a truck priced different. To us that s unfair practice.

I bought my new to me truck from Rafael Lopez and can not say enough about the service i was given from him. I hate dealing with car salesman because 99% are scum. Rafael completely changed my view, he is one of those rare 1% that went above and beyond and did exactly what i asked from him. I will be trading my wives car in soon and he is the only salesman i will use!

I all can say is WOW! Chance and the covert team smash their competitors prices. Plus this was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. We purchased 2 trucks at the same time. Both trucks were delivered on time as promised. You guys have earned all of my future business and anyone I know looking to buy new or used.

As of July of 2019 when I bought my 2008 zo6 Corvette I still have not received the parts that Covert Chevolet promised to get me when the Porter broke the front splitter lip when pulling the car up to the building for my test drive ( even showed the salesman Buster )and the center cap was broken when the Mechanic replaced the tires. I have called and talked to the salesman and the parts Manager and still have got no parts in my opinion all this dealership wants is the sale because there is no customer service after the sale.

Bought a new silverado here today. Rhett my salesman and Jay the sales manager were awesome!!! I would give 100 stars if I could it was the best buying experience I ve ever had!

I had an 11:00AM appt. and arrived early. It took over 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. Maybe they just had a bad day.

We recently dealt with Rafa Lopez to help our nephew purchase a used truck. Rafa was right on it and the perfect truck came in that day. Covert Bastrop had their driver bring it to us in Austin so we could check it out. Just a few things were needed to make it the perfect truck for our nephew . Rafa got it taken care of and everyone is happy. We highly recommend Rafa Lopez if you want to deal with someone that doesn't beat around the bush about making a great deal happen. I would recommend that anyone needing service on a GM vehicle use Covert. I have had the pleasure of working with Preston and the employees of Covert and can say that while the last thing you want to have happen is needing a repair on your vehicle.However, Preston and the employees of Covert make the process as painless as possible.

Preston has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure that not only were the repairs were done correctly but he kept the cost of the repairs reasonable. He also follows up to ensure that the vehicle is repaired right the first time, preventing return visits. Dealing with him and the employees of Covert is a breath of fresh air, they make you feel like you are one of the family and they are truly concerned about you and your vehicle.

Entire purchase experience was 10/10 from beginning to end. John Cardone was exceptional to work with and made the process very easy and low stress. The delivery of the vehicle was fast and communication was very good by the two gentlemen that handled it.

The Absolute Best Car Buying Experience, Second to None!!!

I came to Covert desperate for a reliable vehicle. My old truck had just hit around 210,000 miles and I needed something soon. I was about to start my new job and needed something I could count on to get me from point A to B. Covert not only got me something reliable but even got me rolling off the parking lot in style. This is by far the nicest thing I have ever owned. I still get into my truck from time to time and wonder how in the world I am so lucky to drive such a nice vehicle. Sounds cheesy but it's true!

Carrie Detrixhe and Kyle Weber are the main people I dealt with. They went above and beyond for me. Both Carrie and Kyle called me and figured out what exactly I was looking for. After doing some research, Kyle came back with some options. The third vehicle he listed was the one I bought. Kyle then set everything up so when I came into town I was in and out in about an hour and a half. Kyle really set me up for success.

Their financial staff was phenomenal. I worked with Benjamin Brightwell on my vehicle loan. Benjamin was great! He got me financed through my personal bank and even got a lower rate than my bank originally quoted me before my visit to the dealership.

I cannot recommend Covert enough. These people really care and take pride in customer service. I know that's what every business says they do but Covert actually walks the walk. The dealerships I dealt with before Covert didn't seem to really care and just wanted to squeeze every cent out of me. Covert wanted to give me the best ride for the best possible price. I WILL BE BUYING MY NEXT VEHICLE FROM COVERT!

Fun Fact: They are very veteran friendly. Not only did they take care of me for being a vet but they took care of one of my other veteran friends as well. After recently arriving in Washington, D.C., my friend, an Army vet who still had his temporary red Covert license plates on his truck, told me that he too had recently purchased a truck from Covert. He said his experience was absolutely the best and that he wants to go back when it's time to upgrade.

I just bought a 2014 Ford Expedition from Covert in Bastrop, and the whole experience was perfect. As a first time car buyer, I was pretty nervous.

Devin was my sales rep, and he was more than accommodating. I am only 20, so I couldn t check out the car for a full day like I wanted to in order to take it to my mechanic for a buyer s check. Devin had it driven over to Austin directly to my mechanic. He was responsive by text and call, and the whole transaction went very smoothly. He also seemed very honest with me, unlike other dealers I d dealt with in the past. He even worked with me to get a great deal on the price! Couldn t be happier with him or the dealership as a whole.

I've been searching for a vehicle to get and found exactly what I wanted at Covert. Got in touch with a sales representative, but never got any calls back. Tried reaching out to him and never got any answers. Frustrated, I called back and talked to another sales representative only to find out that the vehicle has been sold. I guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere!

All of the work on my vehicle was performed in a timely and professional manner. This repair was needed to accommodate a long planned family ski trip. The service department was able to expedite the needed repair, and we drove the vehicle 2200 miles immediately thereafter without any issues. I highly recommend Covert's Service Department... just give them adequate time to complete the repair... they are always busy due to return customers.
