My husband and I purchased a truck from here last year in March. About 6 weeks ago it started having problems with the gas tank, it would only fill up a little at a time. I made an appointment so that I could have a loaner but wasn't in the books to receive one. Then it took them 2 weeks once they got my truck to figure out the problem and fix it. I took it to them on a Tuesday and they didn't get it to the tech until Thursday or Friday. The problem wasn't fixed once I got my truck back. We had also purchased a "bumper to bumper" warranty but the problem they said was wrong wasn't covered so I had to pay out of pocket. They have now had my truck for another 2 weeks and the past week I haven't heard anything from them at all! I've called and left messages for multiple people including my service adviser, Mat, another adviser, Danny, as well as the service manager, Jim, and nothing. I've taken my truck to them before with no problem but this is ridiculous. We had great service when we were looking for a truck and purchasing it, that's the only reason I gave them 2 stars.

1st time having a bad experience w/the service department. Well actually just w/the service tech. KARA. I called 2 weeks ago made an appointment for a service check of the AC. Car was to be picked up & dropped as it has been done many times w/several of my vehicles. In town. Called several times thru out the day not till 4 pm did I get a call from Kara. Spoke to several ppl who said they wld let her know I was calling left her voice message. I even sent a note w/items to be checked, business card & cell #. NOTHING. At 4 she said AC filter was replaced & car was being put back together. I wrote on the note 4:30, when I made appointment I said 4:30 when I spoke w/her at 4 I said 4:30. She said yes it will be shortly after he is putting it together. I waited till 5:10 outside my job standing in the heat when a driver was sent to get me & take be back cuz car was almost done. I called at 5 to see where my car was & she got an attitude. Was just like I been calling u... but I never got a call. She said oh I been calling the wrong #. I made a mistake ppl make mistakes. I gave her my #'s yet still called the wrong #. The driver, manager & phone girl Megan & receptionist where all super nice.

Buying the vehicle was just fine experience. Typical of every experience I've had. However, the service department was horrible. I took my truck in for oil seaping out between the sump and the oil pan. They tried to tell me that it wasn't that bad, as if it didn't need to be fixed. Excuse me!!! It's a brand new truck, under warranty, I expect perfection. They then agreed to fix it. I left the truck overnight, to be fixed in the morning. However 4pm the next day, after numerous attempts to call the service rep and left messages, I hadn't heard anything. So I showed up at the service center, to find the rep standing at his desk, doing nothing???. He says he just got my messages and that the truck would be ready at 5:30 pm. I come back at 5:45 pm, going straight to the truck and look at the work. The sump is now leaking oil from a different spot, a puddle already built up underneath the truck. I get the rep to show him, his response is that he is shocked. He says they will need to further pursue trouble shooting to fix the truck, which now I have to leave over the weekend. Monday, he says parts will be there on Tuesday and it'll be ready. Tuesday comes, I call in the afternoon numerous times for a status update, no answer. Finally, again I show up to find the rep doing nothing??? No call backs, really!!! He goes to check on the update. Truck hasn't been started on. Now it's got to wait until Thurs due to July 4th holiday. So Thursday comes, same scenario, calling for updates, no response. Show up at service center again, about 4:30 pm, rep doing nothing?? He says it's next in line due to transmission swap on another vehicle. Why do I have to show up to get a response??? Friday comes, they finally get it fixed after having to replace the whole oil pan and sump. But of course it's at the end of the day, no calls from rep, and I had to show up to find out that the truck was almost ready at 4:30 pm. Rep calls at 5:30 pm, truck is ready. I show up, Rep says the truck was good to go and technician had just finished the alignment. I take it for a test drive, immediately notice that the truck pulls to the right, significantly. I tell the rep, again, shock. And says that I took a short test drive, and that it must be significant for me to notice that quickly. I will never again take any vehicles to Covert Bastrop Service Center for work.

Matt was my advisor its was a good experience as far as oil change they got right on it, I was needing a tire looked at it either needed repaired or replace I was told it needed to be replace so a tire would be order I have not heard back about the tire yet.

I purchased a new Tahoe last night. This was by far the best buying experience I have ever had! Buster was great to work with. He helped us find the perfect vehicle for our family and did not pressure us to make a decision. Can not say enough nice things about Alex Murchison and this location! Not only did they give us a excellent buying experience and get us set up with our now very nice Chevy Malibu but! They also helped us a few days later when we found a problem. They took care of everything and Alex helped us fully through both experiences and even checked up on us after our purchase to see if we had any questions or needed any help with anything.

Very limited on financial options. Even with 1500 cash no help. Customer service real bad for a single mom newly divorced. I was ashamed by the way I was treated and left in the dark about if I was able to be helped getting a different car. Not something you'd expect in your hoke town.

Not very satisfied with my experience on purchasing my GMC SIERRA.
Sales representative seemed to be in a rush towards the end to go home.
I mentioned to her that there's a company that would do bed liners cheaper than at the dealer and she didn't try to match the price or do anything about it.
The one thing that really upsets me is that she told me that I will be able to start the truck with the app. ( and honestly that was the main reason I decided to proceed with the purchase) it turns out that the truck doesn't have that feature.

I have been communicating with the sales representative about this truck since the early morning. We were ready to pull the trigger on it and apparently they had a walk in come in a couple of hours after we were negotiating on the truck. They decided to sell the truck to the walk-in customer ahead of us even though we were first in line. They ran my credit causing unnecessary inquiries. I offered to give a down payment immediately to secure our deal and they still went ahead with the walk-in customer. Extremely unprofessional and quite frankly a detrimental experience. There are too many other dealerships around for anyone to waste their time with these jokers.
Rude older woman at the front desk, rolled her eyes like we were a bother to her. Definitely not the same dealership that I purchased my car from a few years ago. I guess the new building went to their heads.
The sales man that helped me was so rushed for time, he sold me a vehicle that did not have the package he said it did. I made the mistake of thinking I could figure it out on my own after I got it home.
I kept asking him if the car had the things listed on the package list because I couldn't figure them out on the test drive, and he insisted, "this is the vehicle you're buying".
I called a week later asking him to help me because I could not figure out how to "activate" some of the driver safety things and wireless charging deck and then he explained to me that I don't have that package and sent me a very small list that apparently entailed, "my package".
They were paid and I am left unsatisfied with their service and half the car I wanted. I would have added the extras, or picked another car had I known. This is my first time buying a car brand new. I wanted to get the best.

The salesman was amazing once we reconnected. He was apologetic for the miscommunication. I just wish I could've gotten everything the first time.

I bought a Canyon several weeks ago from Covert Bastrop and I was very happy with the deal and the process. I even left a couple 4+ star reviews. Well unfortunately now I'm very unhappy with the salesman's actions after the sale. I traded a vehicle in to get my new truck. Covert sold my trade and when they sold it, the salesman gave to folks he sold the car to my WORK phone number and told them it would be ok to call me and ask about the vehicle. Heck no it wasn't OK to give out my information to their customer. Especially my WORK phone number. Their customer called and left a voice mail on my work phone wanting to ask some questions about the car I traded in. When I called the dealership to complain about them giving out my phone number, the salesman admitted giving out my phone number, the sales manager said something like "I'm sorry he should know better but I can't undo it" . I left a message for the finance lady I dealt with because I wanted to share my experience with everyone I'd dealt with at the dealership. She never called me back. I'm so very disappointed. I thought I'd finally found a car dealership I'd want to go back to.

This dealership is really good my family have all bought cars from here, mostly because we like the salesman Harry Green and the service good too. The waiting area is really comfortable and they even deliver your car to you if your at work. I work in Plugerville and the delivered my car to me. A dealership I trust even if I have one a mile from me, which I do, I drive 45 mins to this one

I called Covert Chevrolet Bastrop location wanting a second opinion to buying a car. I first went to Capital Chevrolet and it was just a horrible experience! What I was really looking for was to have my credit application transfer to this dealership, and as you may all be aware of, that is absolutely not an option because they don't share the same owner. But given my credit situation, I was very discourage because they had run my credit more than 12 times.
The front desk receptionist was very kind and encouraged me to talk to a sales rep. which I gladly accepted.
She transferred my phone call to Eddie Gibler, and boy was I relieve to find someone that understood my situation and was happy to take on challenging case.
He was very professional and confident that could find a good deal for me. I completed an application over the phone and email all of the documents he needed to move forward with the process.
He was able to find a car for me in a short period of time, I scheduled an appointment to go see the car and do a test drive.
This was the easiest way to buy a car, I had such an amazing experience,
