Had an appointment for an oil change at 1pm, didn t leave the dealership till almost 330pm! Ask the lady much longer it would be before my car is ready. She goes to the back abd comes back stating they are just now pulling it in snd since I didn t have an appointment it takes that long. I told her my appointment was at 1!!!

Had my pickup broke into in Houston, called Covert when I returned home and spoke with Kara in service, she made the replacement of my door handle quick and painless. In addition I asked for my windshield wipers to be replaced when the truck was brought around and again they took it back with no hassle and brought it back with new handle , wipers and tires aired up properly within a total of 2 hours . worst customer service from salesman. they actually sold the car we drove in two hours with an appointment for 10 minutes before we got there!!! and then filled in our scheduled appointment with a new customer because the car was sold. Offered no other inventory to look at and would not give us another sales rep to work with. They let us leave there with our appointment given away, car given away and offered us no business.

I will never go back nor do i recommend them to anyone, terrible customer service. Ive never seen a car dealership let a customer walk out with out seeing a single car!

If you're reading this post, it's probably because you are trying to find a dealer wherein you will have an enjoyable experience. Trust me, I am a very analytical person myself and have already done all the research for you... in short, Covert Bastrop is the place to go! The star of the show, among other people, is Rafa Lopez. So if you get nothing else out of my post, at least know that he's the man you want to see! I had been searching for a truck for quite sometime, but was always deterred by salesmen and dealerships who lacked a sense of integrity. When I found a truck I wanted at Covert, I was able to see it and buy it within a day. Not to mention I got a great deal! Rafa was the basis for this smooth transaction as he sent me photos of the truck within minutes of reaching out to him, had the truck inspected and cleaned in a jiffy, and did all he could to get me a deal that fit within the parameters of my teacher budget. For the record, he has also followed up with me since my purchase to make sure everything is working out. I am also obligated to give a shoutout to Tim Clark in the finance department. Usually you think the finance department is where your salesmen sends you to die, but Tim had me in and out of the dealer in about half an hour. He was patient with my questions, elaborate with his explanations of what I was getting my self into, and comforting to work with. I never felt pressured to sign for anything that I didn't want. Tim is a class act just like Rafa. This was my first time buying a car. My family has always bought their trucks from Covert Bastrop. Steve McGowan And Vickie Hill made my shopping experience really easy. They were super helpful with every question I had and made sure that I got what I really wanted! We were READY TO BUY a 2018 Equinox. After 30 minutes (approximately 615pm) looking in that general area NO ONE came out to offer assistance. My husband is affiliated with Chevy/GMC. He said " It was a shame. Guess they (the sales dept) didn't want to sale a car today. " Very disappointing experience.

Went here to test drive some trucks. The sales man was very helpful and totally relaxed and chill. Could not have asked for a better experience. They even had a 63 split window Stingray that they let us sit in.

The total experience was first class. Even Torrential Rains did not mess things up. Our Salesman Rick Zamora was awesome. He even found us a discount we had no idea we were entitled to. Through and Courteous are the best additives that I can use to describe Rick. We closed the deal in Finance with Tim and to our surprise he got us an interest rate a full point below what we were expecting. Thanks Tim. Covert Gets 5 stars across the board. We have passed this dealership at least a hundred times on trips back and forth to Texas State and had no idea we would ever buy a vehicle from Covert Chevrolet one day. Finding the vehicle online was easy and with Rick and Tim's assistance the buying part was even easier. We drove 244 miles roundtrip yesterday from Willis and it was well worth the trip. The transmission on truck when out after ah year I bought it witch is odd on ah Silverado . Have warranty but told me they would put ah used one and would not warranty that it would work .. try to make me get ah new one for double the price .. not the 1st person that this has happened to my coworker bought 2 trucks from covert bastrop and said the transmission when out months after .

Julian Sanchez and Lonnie Galvan provided excellent customer service. They were quick to respond to any questions via phone, text or email. They both made the experience quick and easy. Just a suggestion, have all potential vehicles all detailed, gassed or whatever is done before purchase, ready to go at signing. That was the only thing that delayed our purchase time. Other than that, this was by far our best vehicle purchasing experience yet.

This is a really great dealership. I went there a few months ago to buy a car. Devin Adams was really helpful and let us look at a lot of cars. We even got a ride in their awesome red golf cart. The facility is really nice and they have a huge clean waiting area and indoor showroom. If you want to buy a Chevy this is a place to go in the Bastrop/Austin area.

All the service department staff were very nice, and professional! I will definitely use them for all of my GMC services and will recommend them to everyone.

Scheduled an appointment for an oil change for 1 pm. Arrived at 1245... the service advisor they assigned to me wasn t there yet so no one else would check me in. Finally got checked in around 1:20 and was told it would take an hour and a half for an oil change! Ridiculous that it would take that long for a routine oil change.... with an appointment. Then the gentleman came back a few minutes later and said it would be about an hour before they could even get it back to get started! So basically they wanted me to wait 2 1/2 hours (minimum) for an oil change even after scheduling an appointment. No thanks. I ll drive to elgin or Austin to another dealership. We will not be returning to Covert for either of our trucks!!

I usually get someone else to help me and I was going to ask if I could get a different person but he called in sick ....yeah. I got Richie and he was much nicer and alot more knowledgeable. I will start asking for Richie from now on.

Had the base model I wanted, at the right price, did the deal on a Friday over the phone, and delivered on a trailer to my house on Sunday. Delivery driver could not have been better, went over the vehicle features and even set up my phone for me.

Looked and looked around for a Suburban all over Austin and finally came across several in Bastrop. At first i reached out to our fleet sales rep late on a Friday said he would call me back and never heard back from him. So i called in to the store and spoke with Eddie Walker told him what we were looking for and mentioned to him what we had seen online. He asked me to come in on a Sunday since they are closed on Saturdays. He showed us a few vehicles and finally choose a remarkable Yukon XL Denali. We really enjoyed working with Eddie we did not feel pressured at any time and this experience was not your typical car sales routine. There was no interaction with car sales manager which made this experience much more enjoyable. Typically from past car buying experiences sales person goes back and forth to visit sales manager and discuss numbers.

After we said we wanted this vehicle we then went straight to financing and met with Jonathon and things were just so smooth sailing. I could not have been any happier throughout this whole ordeal.

We purchased a car from Covert Bastrop and Carrie Detrixhe, our sales person was great. got the car we wanted and they did everything they could to make sure that happened. After the sale we have gone back a number of times to get technical assistance because the car is loaded and sometimes we don't understand all the features. They are always willing to take time out of their day to help us, show us how something works and/or educate us on the features.

I stopped to look at the new 2019 Silverado and the sales staff was very helpful. Robert answered a lot of questions for me.

This was my third chevrolet truck I purchased from Covert Bastrop. Each time the salesperson (Damon and Bob Lyons) were informative, easy to work with and wanted to make sure that I got the best truck for my needs. There was never a push to buy. Last March I brought my twin grandaughters out to look at 4X4's. I told Bob that we were only looking and were not buying. He still spent the better part of an hour showing me the available trucks and explaining how they would fit my needs and the needs of growing grandkids. No pressure to buy. When I came back in May, first words from Bob "how are them grandbabies". Vickie Hall has handled the financing of my last three purchases. She is always professional but at the same time you feel like you are talking to your best friend. She always gets the best deal for you with payments you are comfortable with. You never feel like your pushed into a financing option. The Covert staff has always treated my like a friend and not just a customer, that means alot to me. As long as Coverts Bastrop is there, they will always have my business.

Kara Poole in Service always takes good care of us. Our Buick had a hard to fix/find issue with the front axles, and also the rear AC quit working. We brought the car in and Kara saw to it that we were put in a new loaner car. They had to order parts to fix all the issues but when we picked up the car, it was like new again. Kara always kept me updated via text and put up with all my questions. We've bought three cars at Covert Bastrop and have never had a bad experience and have always been treated very professionally, from sales to service. If you want to buy a car, see Harry Green. He's been selling cars there for a very long time. He tries very hard to get you into a car you want, not a car he wants to sell.

I had called to check on a status on a vehicle I really was interested on there website, I live in Georgetown, little bit of a commute. Within minutes I had a gentleman named Steve give me a call back. He answered all my questions and more. Once I had decided that was the vehicle for me and my family. Rafael Lopez has been my salesman for three of the four cars bought. I call, tell him what I need, what I can afford, what I want...he makes it happen OR he tells me it won t work. I recently went into covert Chevrolet in Bastrop I believe my sales consultant name was Daniel was excellent and product knowledge and also didn't push me to buy a car that day cuz he really started to pick up that I just started my shopping but I know that when I'm ready to buy I'm going to be coming back and asking for Daniel.

I had looked at the Chevy Equinox in your website and saw that you had a very nice discount on the car. I had been interested in the Equinox for a month or two. So I decided to call my friend, Buster Sauers, whom I had purchased 3 vehicles from in the last few years. He asked me to come by and drive the car to see if that's what I wanted to buy. I loved the car, and so we started the purchasing process, and I was very happy that he gave me a very fair trade in price for my 2016 Chevy Colorado. We made the transaction I got my wonderful car which my wife and I are very happy with.

But after the Chevy Equinox for a couple of days I realized that I had forgotten to negotiate for having the two front window tinted and the windshield eyebrow tint. I called Buster and told him my forgetting to negotiate the tint work. He said no problem. He instructed me to take my Chevy to Ritchie in the Service Department and tell him to do the tint work. Buster had already called Ritchie by the time I got there, and within 5 hours they got the tint work done at no cost to me. Buster had taken care of it. This is why it is great to have a good friend whom you buy your cars from. I will always buy cars from Covert's and Buster Sauers.

Recently purchased a Chevrolet Silverado from Rhett Riviere, it was the easiest/best experience with a dealership i've ever had. I had some issues with the paperwork from my bank but Rhett went above and beyond to get me in my truck that night, I was like a kid in a candy store!

After having the truck a few days I noticed a decent vibration when going over 70 mph so I contacted Rhett to see what my options were. He put me in contact with Mickey in the service department to have the truck looked at. Turned out the front tires had been warn real bad because the alignment was a little off. I had already purchased the truck but being the professionals they are, Covert put 2 new tires on the front, re aligned it and did a complimentary oil change.

Never had any push back through the whole process, very willing to make it right and a good experience.

If I chose anther Chevrolet in the future, I'm definitely chosing this dealership!!!

Rox and Laurie are the very best! This was such a pleasant experience (so was the last one) and I think Laurie knows everything there is to know about Covert cars not to mention the dealership as well. UPDATE: 01/17/2018 Can you believe I have not yet head from Mr. Covert yet on this? I am amiss at this lack of accountability and responsibility. Opened up a case with General Motors regarding this, I hope that they can make things right. The public deserves to know what happens when a company fails to meet guidelines and expectations. They broke the Law! They will have to face what they have done either by making it right with my family, or by losing customers based off of my experience.

Update: 12-19-17 they are trying to sweep it under the rug they blamed thieves for my missing Lug Nuts but did not give me a invoice for the Lug Nuts that were put onto my truck? Double negligence I cannot wait to report Covert Auto Group to the Texas Attorneys general, lawsuit is coming Mark my words!

I have never had a more horrific experience from your service department!!! I got a normal routine Oil Change and Tire Rotation on my 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500 and everything was going ok... then I parked my truck for the night (Tuesday 12/12/17) since it is my truck I use for Work only, I didn t use it again until Friday 12-15-17 when I noticed a bump bump bump noice coming from my tires... when I got home that evening I checked my tires and to my surprise I am MISSING 6 LUG NUTS!!!!! Not one, not two, S I X lug nuts!!! Your service department could have KILLED my family! I brought in a LEGAL TRUCK and you gave me an ILLEGAL vehicle in return, and charged me $300 dollars for it too???!!!??? Who do you think you are!!! I have pictures and I am going EVERYWHERE, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google, and GM Corporate office, the Better Bussiness Bureu, and JD Power and Associates!!

I trusted you, THAT IS WHY I USED YOU TO SERVICE MY TRUCK WHICH IS MY LIVELIHOOD!!!

Have bought my last three trucks from this place. If you scheduled maintenance you can get a loaner car As long as you purchased the vehicle from them.

Great experience from beginning to end. Very easy buying experience, great customer service. Buster Sauers was awesome to work with. Will definitely buy from him and Covert again.

Kyle was very knowledgeable, no pressure sales. He worked up the exact deal I wanted on the first try. I never thought we would reach an agreement the day we were there, so I was very unprepared to finalize. Kyle and Ben worked with me and were very patient until the next weekend. Trade in process was easier than I ever imagined.

This is the second truck we have purchased from the Coverts. Great family to do business with. We settled everything with a handshake, and did so with confidence that we would be taken care of properly. Chance did just that, and we could not be more pleased.
