I love to wait 25 minutes standing and see groups of people pass by me and get installed. Terrible service, shame because their coffee is pretty good.

A very good carrot cake! Good service, very friendly, kind and polite! I loved the atmosphere!
Good place for coffee, food, but the sonner the better.
GREAT coffee which is surprisingly hard to find in France and even in Paris.
Fun coffee shop. Had great cold brew that was a little over priced. Menu looked good.
I was not allowed to use my laptop during breakfast time (11:00AM). First time ever !
Only had time for a quick take away coffee, but friendly service, and a lovely flat white.
Nice decor too!
The place looks and feels great. The coffee tastes fantastic but the service is soooooo slow and unefficient. :(
The coffee is very tasteful. Nice place would go back several times here for a coffee.
Quality cafes and friendly waiters.
Please note, no WiFi and little network.
Jennifer's Top 10 Coffee Shops in Paris
High ceilings, clean tables, delicious coffee - what better place to do creative work? You'll find lots of students here. Get there early to grab a seat. It's getting pretty popular and pretty busy these days.
Excellent coffee, beautiful scenery, very nice place and friendly service.
this aussie run shop makes the best coffee in paris and offers a great brunch.
Very friendly, even if sometimes the waiters are not as pros as usual
Excellent coffee and cappuccino.
I highly recommend this place to lactose intolerant people because they use very good quality vegetable milk that tastes like cow's milk.
Very good coffee, but service was slow and ignorant
Delicious coffee (to Melbourne standard), food was fantastic (we had the pancakes and the French Toast (Australian 'French Toast' is different to what the French call 'French Toast', so make sure to make that clear! Even though the English Menu has 'French Toast' as we know it...), staff were very friendly, service was quick.
Nice chic cafe with good food and offer nice coffee. Beware that I was there on Sunday afternoon, it was packed and I was sitting opposite to the counter, within the crowd, it was very noisy. I later on found out that there were more seating at the back of the cafe, where was much quieter. Overall was a nice experience and it was not easy to find good coffee made by barista in Paris.
Unfortunately, despite the quality of the coffee the level of service at Coutume has steadily declined since I started going here 4 years ago. The servers and baristas often seem rushed and unfriendly, and coffee can take a LONG time to arrive.
A good coffee in Paris
The black shop assistant is very good, but the other female clerk has a bad attitude.
Disappointing, busy servers with their phones ask you not to use your tablet to promote exchange. Served after 30min, 10m before closing
Hearty and delicious savory pancakes. Excellent coffee.
However, I found the sweet blueberry pancakes less filling and a little dry.
I will return for the salty formula.
Coffee was good, but the service was terribly slow. Simple iced lattes shouldn't take that long. Didn't even seem all that busy.
Super service, great coffee, nice atmosphere and relaxed. What more ?
Very very good coffee and good decor.
It would take more places like this one in Paris.
Nice to have a coffee in a calm atmosphere. Good pastries
A cozy and buzy coffee spot with friendly staff and really tasty food.
The double latte we had (Laos) was overly bitter despite the huge ammount of milk in it.
I do not see how can a coffee lover trust they can deliver a properroast for the 9 Euro db espresso or 12Euro for a v60 Gheisha...
Someone dipped in reviews that, they say, this is the best coffee in Paris. Hmm, that's precisely because of such "lovers" of coffee that you have to lose both time and money ...
Cappuccino is mediocre, somewhere around 3+, no more. They took something from the desserts, also by ...
Prices for all are considerable, after all Paris, here you have to pay inappropriately for everything.
An amazing institution, in the sense that it is not clear how and why it is untwisted and mentioned in a bunch of reviews. (It was on these reviews that I started). Promoted completely undeservedly, I consider.
The only obvious plus of the coffee shop is Sunday work. Few in Paris bother with this. Fans of really good coffee will find in my reviews the right Parisian coffee shop. That's all...
Good luck.
Too cool and hipster-ish. Not helpful or an easy place for a person learning French to show their face. Would not go back, too many other good bakeries in the area.
The place is just perfect, it's nice and it's quiet.
Never experienced such a rude service. I know that at times gastronomy can be rough having worked in it myself, but if you don't like your job - why dont you just quit? The rudeness of the staff, no help or assistance offered... sad to see what happend to a place, once it became famous. classic
A coffee worthy of being called that! Just like in Italy, indeed, in some cases, even better. The cortado and the cappuccino are superb! Thanks for existing !!! Recommended for all coffee connoisseurs !!!
Loved this cafe, the breakfast was amazing, when we found this place went there every morning, pancakes and the best coffee xx
Very nice experience for a 29 -brunch. You will undoubtedly have to wait for a bit before getting in, but the Tartare-Fresh Orange juice-Coffee combo is worth the wait.
Great coffee. Friendly service. Comfortable space. Neat design. Everything.
Great coffee and food. Friendly staff. Very efficient.
Coffee good, lunch plates messy but tasty. Busy place.
A ridiculous amount compared to the very high price of the card! 14 euros for a sandwich very little garni ...
A very nice cafe with really good single-origin coffee, tasty pancakes, porridge and other breakfast options. Unfortunately, they do not serve crepes, but that s ok. The stuff they serve is tasty. The creme they serve with pancakes is to die for. It s THAT good!
Really very good coffee and dishes, just sometimes a little long service
Great third wave coffee, beautiful interiors, tasty food. Lots of natural light near the windows and a big hidden table in the back to hide.
One of the first specialty coffee shop in Paris. The place is well designed, the food is great and not too expensive, the coffee is good too.
High quality coffee and excellent dishes. Best cafe I visited in Paris
I joined my friends routine Sunday brunch which took place at this restaurant today. It seems that we are not the only groups of girls who choose this brunch spot. I was told that the coffee here is served with the perfect temperature (the barista has a timer while making latte art, if it takes more than a certain time then the coffee will be replaced with a new one.). I took the brunch menu which includes a glass of juice, a cup of hot beverage, and a main dish which has two choices (ground beef or salmon). The beef I chose was seasoned very well. I also enjoyed my friend s pancakes.
Coffee great, banana bread served cold and they were "unable" to toast it. Update: too inconsistent for the price. I was given a cappuccino that had burned milk such that I couldn t handle the cup. I didn t drink it but didn t want a scene so that s 4 euros 20 thanks very much
Iced long black was absolutely perfect. Best coffee in Paris by a mile.
This coffee is one of the best hip coffee shops in Paris. Be aware not to take your computer or Ipads, just books are allowed. Nice place to talk and enjoy le cafe du maison
Friendly atmosphere. Pastries very good. Coffee so so (sour). Slightly overrated concept.
Great coffee and a nice quy who
served us today!
Very nice cafe noir must try the salted pancakes brunch
The coffee is really good ! But unfortunately the brunch is very average.
Excellent coffee and lots of choice for coffee enthusiasts. Was here during the weekend half an hour after they opened and it was already packed. Amazing selection of breakfast options and a great vibe and interior.
Despite the cafe being filled with people engrossed in their writing and cellphones, I was asked to leave due to their "no tablet or laptop policy". Wish I could have given them some business, but I guess they don't want it.
Quiet, you can work there without problem, quite calm, decor ....... a bit limited, but excellent coffee.
Great coffee, great cakes, great service and very warm atmosphere. Tip to know: computers are prohibited, if you want to come to work it will be without ...
One of the best cafes in Paris. Specialty coffee, expertly prepared. I had a filter from Laos that was clean, floral and bright. If I hadn't know I would have guessed it was an African coffee; excellent.
Came here planning to work for a couple of hours. Had a really good cold brew for 5, but as I was served I was told that I couldn't use my laptop (despite sitting at the back, 15h on weekday, alone on a 10-person table). I appreciate that they put a lot of time into the coffee and want you to enjoy it but some flexibility would be appreciated! Do not come here if you're looking for somewhere to work.
Ingredients, flavor, texture and presentation are all world class
Very good quality products. a bit noisy but we quickly forget the noise when we taste our plates, correct price for the quantity and quality.
Very good coffee but for the service it depends on who you fall ....
My videos on YouTube: AYATWINGCHUN
Hipster place, with no sweets up to Paris and its patisseries
Wonderful coffee and good service. Quite crowded in the morning, but it's worth every minute of the wait.
Traveling around different countries, their coffee, especially espresso, still my favorite one. Although breakfast is just ok, nothing more important than having a good coffee here.
One of my favorite coffee shops in the world. They recently won the championship for best pour-over coffee in France. Extremely friendly staff that speaks fluent English. A must visit for coffee lovers.
Wait what?..a bloody coffee shop is closed on Sunday and Monday? Are we in European capital or in some small catholic village. Anyway the service there is so slow, it took 23 minutes for them to make me a TAKE AWAY coffee.
Nice place, the food was perfect, very very good! The hot chocolate amazing! You can find fresh juice as well! It was busy but the service was good and staff spoke English! The price is high but it think might be normal in Paris!
0 customers, 4 servers who do not care about you and 15 minutes waiting to leave because they are FORGET you exist. A real joke for 5 for coffee.
NEVER AGAIN.
