Courtyard by Marriott LA Westside Review

I paid for my sister to get in a room here. She had the worst experience of any hotel she has ever staid in. The rooms are run down, the staff is RUDE, and the service is HORRIBLE.

There was a true emergency with a bank issue and the room wasn't able to be paid for by my sister, however she needed to go to work. I was in the middle of paying for the room on expedia and I begged the management to just allow my sister to get her work uniform, instead of allowing her to get her belongings she held the room and her possessions hostage until after it showed in her system, even though it was paid for for 20 minutes. (I Emailed the manager the itinerary from expedia.)

So basically the management team there let my sister be fired because she wouldn't at least allow her to get her belongings. There is no way this is legal and i will be contacting the BBB.

Trust me when I say, I will be calling your corporate offices and you have lost my business and my companies business forever. Also please understand I will make it my mission to ensure none of my colleagues which are many will not use your services. I also manage a website with over 100,000 users and will ensure they know how you treat people in an emergency situation.

The venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Very helpful and genuine.

Hotel did a great job on a recent business trip. Clean rooms, great staff and good parking.

There for my office party, the event room was spacious and had a sizeable outdoor area where the bar was staged. Overall the location was clean including the restrooms. Would recommend.

They entertained me well when I stayed there in their hotel. The swimming pool is big and clean. A very delicious food served to us by this elegant hotel. Even the things you don t like about Courtyard
make you interesting.

Went for a social event and was impressed by the service. The room was clean and had a nice view.

Excellent rooms, quality service, great for business travelers

Room were clean and the bed was comfortable. The only down fall would have to be the shower, the shower head was not great and did not have a lot of pressure. Other then that it was a nice stay.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay. The staff was courteous. Room service was prompt. The accoutrements were very appealing. I look forward to future stays.

A wonderful hotel right next to Howard Hughs and Fox Hills Mall. Walking distance to some convenient stores.... Clean rooms, friendly staff....

Clean hotel, staff was friendly and helpful. They suggested an excellent restaurant nearby that was beyond what we expected.

Attended a wedding at the Courtyard Westside and it was great. The venue was beautiful and the staff very helpful. I have a one year old and the there was even a changing table in the men's room- something that's kind of rare even for 2016!

I attended a training provided by The Institute for Natural Resources at this Courtyard. The Hotel provided excellent support for this training and the hotel staff were awesome. The Hotel was beautiful. If I need to stay in this area I would surely pick this Marriot.

Service was nice. Very limited parking. We chose this location to be near s friend of ours.

They charge guests for parking, but I was told that I would be getting a$7 discount for the funeral group. But then I checked the receipt in the email and they had charged me full price. I called and they said they would credit me. Then I checked my account and it was debited another $7.00!! I called back and told the manager and he sends me his proof that it was credited, but it wasn't. On Monday, I will complain to the BBB

Nice rooms, conveniently placed to the airport, the beach, venice, santa monica. Convention center indoors, as well as a restaurant onsite. Only complaint is the expense for parking.

I had a good stay here. Nice staff and good breakfast buffet.

Location is not great, but still within walking distance of some shops and across from a park. Staff is very courteous and respectful. Rooms are clean.

Some family stays here when they're in town and it seems okay. Simple parking, close to shops and restaurants in Culver City.

Great place to stay. We stayed here 10 years ago when they were first opened cause the other hotel we had booked had over booked and the Manager that was here then was great! So this time we kind of had an issue at a different hotel and we found out there was availability here so this is where we decided to stay with again and still the management is still great!

Staff is not accommodating by any means. We needed a rollaway and they would not give us one even though they had one. When we asked the cleaning staff for one they said yes but then their boss said no because we needed to upgrade our room. We asked to do an upgrade but no rooms available. Also, worst and most expensive breakfast in all of Los Angeles. Will never stay there again.

I give it 5 stars because the staff are so nice and the room was really clean. I would give the reservation center only 0 stars because I called and confirmed twice of my room preferences- second floor garden view with balcony. We were put on the 12th floor facing the freeway and a window that only opened 3 inches.

Last week, I was feeling delighted when I stayed here for five days and four nights. I thanked your staves for accommodating my needs. I didn't regret my decision to have my relaxation at your hotel. Five stars for you, guys! Strongly recommended to everyone!

One of the best hotel experiences I ve ever had. I stayed in August. The room was clean. Staff was welcoming and made me feel at home. No matter what time of day or night desk attendants said hello and good morning. Will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel but unfortunately they will try to charge you for random things if you dont check. If you stay at this hotel make sure you check your bank account once you leave.

They have complete facilities here. The rooms are fully furnished and were very clean. They're always friendly and professional. We enjoyed our stay here. The service was great. Highly recommended!

Overall great place to stay. It's attractive and clean and the employees are very kind and helpful. I would have given it a five but it's ridiculous that they charge you to park there. There's plenty of parking the parking lot is empty and there's no reason for them to charge you to park. Just feel like they want to gouge you for more money. It's not in an area where other establishments would use the parking so they don't need to control it. $20 to park overnight, simply ridiculous.

Check-in/check-out was a breeze and the staff was very welcoming. The hotel's lobby was very ample, clean, illuminated and comfortable. The room was perfect in every way; clean, comfortable and inviting. The bed was very comfortable with lots of fresh pillows and blankets. Very good night's rest.

how can you not have HD channels in your quest rooms? cheap owners.....unbelievable.

Staying with a group and the person I was actually coordinating or stay with, Joyce, came to great us on our arrival. First time a sales manager has done that. The hotel has had everything we needed as well.

The courtyard was good. Very polished. I went to meet a few friends who were staying there and had a few drinks. The ambiance was amazing and I had a great time.

Very nice and good value for the money. Self parking is plenty at $25 a night. There's a CVS and some fast food right behind the hotel. A mall is walking distance. Otherwise typical Courtyard - full service bar, Starbucks, etc. Convenient!

I attended an event at the hotel. I enjoyed the cold fruit infused water in the lobby. The catering staff was attentive and cleared the tables regularly. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was spotless and completely new. My colleagues are friendly and courteous. It's pretty cool, and it's well-suited for vacationers in my experience. The hotel's location is advantageous due to its proximity to the area. That is a fantastic suggestion. Overall, it's been an incredible adventure. The thought of spending more time with my family made me ecstatic. Highly recommended!!

The hotel is nice the staff is friendly but I had to go to the front desk every time I came back from a meeting because my cards were demagnetized... Despite the fact that I was keeping them away from all electronics. When bringing up my frustrations I was brushed aside and blamed for incompetence

The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The coffee is stale. The AV equipment is spotty and ineffectual.

Nice and very close to Westfield Mall, The Bridge, and the airport. Nice staff.

Room is a little small, however, is good. It's very good to be very close to shopping mall and stores like Target. About only few minute driving.

I attended Courtyard Los Angeles Westside for a teaching conference. The food was good and the service was excellent. The only real issue I had revolved around the parking lot and getting validation as well as the wifi service. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was able to accommodate the conference with ease.

Pizza was ok, chocolate cake was very small and didn't taste good

No frills. Great breakfast, comfortable bed. Accessible to the freeway.

Really nice more modern hotel for the price. Very clean and spacious room. The only feedback is that the lighting in the room was multiple separate lamps throughout the room that weren't very bright. The hotel staff was very nice and professional.

25 bucks per night to park but manager provided discount to18 bucks per night for my two night stay.

No food of course because of pandemic, nikki tissue in room because it hasn't been used in months but they did get it to me within 15 min so overall a decent stay.

The room was very clean and neat. The room had a good smell, and the decoration is very acceptable and modern.

Air conditioner more or less, door malfunctioning, but we won toast breakfast. Nice atmosphere and well located.

Stayed here for 3 weeks on business, overall Hotel and Rooms are modern and up to date. Bar is not open late so will have to venture out if you want a drink.Gym is very small, and constantly had trouble with the parking station.

Location is not the best, the bridge supporting 405 underneath saw some deals happening underneath.
