Courtyard by Marriott Fredericksburg Review

Location is in the heart of downtown, walking distance to many great restaurants. Rooms are very clean and well stocked. Employees courteous and prompt.

Hotel walls are very thin and that is a big problem. I get a knock on the wall from the neighbor even though I'm playing music at low volume. Not quite sure what the hotel was thinking during construction. If you don't care about this, it is a 4/5 as the service is great. Another downside is that breakfast is not there.

Excellent location and the hotel staff is generally nice, but TV reception in the rooms is very bad. There is a ongoing problem with the cable and only about half of the channels work. If you have no interest in watching CNN, FOX News, HBO, ESPN or a number of other channels then you probably will not mind staying here.

Location was nice, no parking was a bummer, but the people were nice and it was not to expensive.

The hotel is located right in the middle of town. It's a nice clean new looking hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is no parking for hotel guests which leaves street parking, parking in the city garage, or paying for valet. I parked in the city garage for 2 dollars so it was not a big deal. The rooms were fine enough I was only there for a night. The only real problem I had was the bed was fairly hard and the sheets while looking warm and heavy were very light which was a surprise in the middle of the night when I woke up freezing.

The staff was extremely respectful and very flexible with my timeline. Overall, fantastic establishment.

We had our thanksgiving dinner at the hotel but unfortunately the food was not good. Green bean casserole was raw, I bent my knife trying to cut a piece of roast beef and the other items were cooked without any seasoning , spices or herbs. Totally tastless. It reminded me of tofu. A very depressing thanksgiving for $110.00.

Valet is horrible. Took 30 min to get our car multiple times

Very nice rooms. Good service. Great location. Bar and dining. Only knock is parking. Either park on the street or valet.

Popular wedding venue. Located near many great historical sites to check out while visiting Fredericksburg. Rooms were very clean.

In old town Fredericksburg close to all the restaurants and bars makes it much easier walking to everything

Very nice hotel, I only went into the lobby, but there was nice live music and a great atmosphere.

Rooms are very large, nice bathrooms and refrigerators. Beds are super comfy! Friendly service

Stopped in on a road trip once I got tired. Downtown hotel and the service was amazing. Mark at the customer service desk was super friendly and helpful. Check in and checkout were easy.
If I am in the area again, I would stay here.

Nice rooms, nice people. It's handy to be right downtown within distance of restaurants and shops. The walls may be thin, I could hear the next door neighbor snoring all night.

Seemed like a new building. You have to pay for parking. Great spot though in historic downtown.

Really nice hotel. Reasonably priced and right in the middle of town. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Valet attendant, manager and front desk personnel were extremely helpful and pleasant. We will be coming back next year.

Lovely, spacious and very clean room in a beautiful part of downtown Fredericksburg. A bit of a time finding it but just a beautiful building. Hotel signage coukd be a bit more clear but a definite FIVE star. Recommend you allow yourself time to explore the area ... so quaint and felt very safe there. We stayed on a Sunday evening so were able to park overnight on the street and saved valet costs.

Went for a training...great accommodations for that and clean, beautiful hotel

Room was very nice. Location incredible. Only complaint is the hot water. Had to wait about 5 minutes to get hot water to take shower after we checked in and then water was only lukewarm and only got hot at the end of shower. In morning tepid water is the hottest we could get. But overall a good stay. Staff very friendly and helpful.

There was a lot of hospitality shown here, really haven't had a more pleasant staff. Cafe and surrounding restaurants are similar in price and quality. Amenities are good.

Worked as a DJ for a holiday event here. Thanks to the staff, I had easy access to what I needed and was able to ensure a successful event.

This is about $10-12 and they call it buffalo wings. Open up a while later when we hungry. Wordless. Wings and legs are tiny and the color of the skin look under cooked. Pictures showing the full size of each items.

Gave tiny bones don t even know what that is. I think they can think about changing the chef already. Purchased Wednesday 8/8/18 around noon to afternoon ish. Not that I m being pickle but what is this? Over priced and it could make me go to the hospital u cooked. Just sad

Nice but was really loud and full of kids even in the bar area. The elevator seems to have issues and feels like it's about to break everytime you ride on it. Ended up getting a lot of steps by taking the stairs after going on it with my bags.

It was terrible. People partying until 2am. Fire alarm going off because they were smoking in a non-smoking room, little concern from the desk to respond. Never coming back. Can't recommend.

Decent hotel, great location, have to walk to the parking garage and pay for parking. No complimentary breakfast, but there is a place to eat inside, nothing fancy. Rooms have horrendous lighting, there's no overhead lights, just mood lighting....so awful for trying to get ready. Friendly staff.

Located in the center of the historic district. Awesome walking distance from shopping and entertainment. Hotel rooms are big , and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not free , but reasonably priced as well as delicious with generous portions.

Easter brunch with family. Good service. Somewhat disappointed in the buffet. Everything I had was cool, when it should have been hot .

Solid hotel with valet service which is helpful because street parking can be few and far between. Also serves Starbucks coffee and has a really nice common area with lots of couches and tables. Comfortable beds too.

I was here for a conference. The conference rooms were adequately sized and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly. Parking was the only issue, you can either valet, pay to park in the parking garage, or park for free a few blocks away.

This hotel is clean and modern, the staff have all been helpful and pleasant, and the Bistro has been a good option for breakfast.

Ive stayed here several of times. The staff has always been extremely polite, the rooms have always been very clean, and the food has been good. Ive never had a complaint about staying at this hotel!
