Our food took a while to come out but it was worth it because the meat was fall-off-the-bone delicious and it wasn't dry. It was so good that no one talked the entire time because we were too busy eating and savoring the taste and flavors. The fries were a little soggy, though, and I prefer my fries to be a little crispy so I'm not sure if that's how the fries usually are

This country s constantly ignores to go orders. We tried calling in an order and the phone was completely off the hook. We finally went to pick up our order and there were other people complaining that the phone was off the line and went to place their to go orders. The people taking the orders complained saying the phone wasn t off the hook, and that they needed people s phone number for the to go orders. They singled one guy out because he didn t have a phone and they said well we can t take a to go order without a phone number. This isn t the first time this has happened to me, I called last month and the phone was off the hook for about an hour and when they finally answered they put me on hold for another 30 minutes.

In town for a meeting and happened to be right next door, Thankfully!!! Everything we ate was great and their tea and homemade lemonade were tasty too. Ribs, chopped pork, Bbq beef, squash casserole, Brunswick stew, all get a BIG Thumbs Up! And it's always nice to have a great server! Too bad we didn't have room or time for a GA craft beer...

Food was good. That's the only positive I can say of our experience. The waitress spilled sweet tea on my husband. The entire glass. She barely apologized. We had a total of 6 guests and unanimously we agreed that the waitress was rude. My husband told her that it was OK and she still seemed ticked. Very rude. Many people helped to clean off the table. We saw no employee there that looked over 18. No manager there. At the end of the meal, our waitress asked did we need anything else and didn't even acknowledge or apologize that my husband went home sopping wet and cold. No comps, nothing. We left paying over $70. Not satisfied at all the way they handled this.

The special in Wednesday us a pig tater. I tried it, and was not impressed. I use to be a regular customer before I retired and moved to FL in 2005, but it will be awhile before I'm in a hurry to return to this restaurant (at least to this location)--I much prefer the Main St location. They use to have the best brown gravy in town, and I ordered a side order of it for the tater. Being a southerner, born and bred, I have to say I have NEVER seen gravy that looked like what they brought (and took away) to my table. It looked like a thick GLOB of dark brown tar. Maybe the cook was having a bad day. I told the waitress it just wasn't what I remembered it being. She said the cook told her it was the same as it had always been. So, if you go, order anything else on the menu, except for the pig tater and gravy!

Turkey and dressing on Friday's is wonderful (wish they had it more often). Sweet potato souffle is yummy, too. Sometimes it's hard to place a to go order as the lines are always busy, but it's worth the wait.

The worst brisket I have ever had. Asked the manager how long they smoke it and she could not tell me. They brought me out another order of brisket and it still was tough, dry and small amount. This is not the first time i have had bad meat from here. Country's lives off their name because their bbq sucks. Only good thing about the place is the service.

Absolutely my favorite. Same food same place same owners for over 30 years. Comfort foods. Yummy desserts. Great atmosphere. My visit on 03/28/18 I actually saw Jim M. helping and observing. He owns the place and makes time to keep it the same way for all these years. Take a picture in the biggest red rocking chair. Most Fri/Sat nights there is live music. Check it out...and tell Jim Hello.

The restuarant was packed with customers when I arrived, and I had a pretty big to go order, but my wait time was only 15 minutes or so. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the most important thing, the food was very good. Great Job!

Let me start by saying they are AWESOME. I dont eat pork anymore and got a chance to try something other than their great ribs. I tried the smoke turkey and beef. All i have to say is OMG GOOD. ITs nice to have items that are equivalent.with taste as the pork. Turkey is tender not dry and has alot of flavor as well as the beef. They also sell veggie plates. You get 4 veggies under 6 bucks. I love that the portion of the food you receive is a huge amount. I always have some left for latter.

My husband and I live in Alabama and come over at least monthly to Ft Benning. We always stop by to eat at Country's Barbecue. We usually have a great dinner but today the food was not so good! It was cold and definitely not fresh. The baked potato was cold and old. I'm assuming it was left over from yesterday. I hope management corrects the issue or we will find a different place to eat.
