Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Candolim Goa Review

Ambience is good. But I feel you need to work on room service. People are always passing the ball.

I had gone to Country Inn to attend my IELTS exam. So I will put up my review accordingly. The whole is very spacious considering they were able to accommodate over 50 people I think. The air conditioning was very comfortable if not a little too cold which would be according to preferences of each person. The Silence was mesmerizing and I was able to easily concentrate on the exam while not able to hear any distraction from outside due to the sealed nature of the exam room which is one of the halls. The view from top is amazing of the swimming pool especially. Although the way to the Hotel is a little difficult with the roads slightly spoilt, but overall we were able to get their relatively easily. Did not really offer us any drinks even though we were their guests, which they did to their guests who had come to stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

A good experience, staff are friendly and welcoming. Room was nice and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ok could do with fresh fruits though, food taste was ok. Well situated and for the price an apt place

Good place, very good for the price. But the rooms are quite old now and falling apart. Service is incredible though and it is really worth it for the price

I visited this place in October 2020 and all the safety practices were strictly followed. They even upgraded my room at no additional charge. Made my stay a wonderful one.

The hotel staff is courteous and kind. The make your experience as comfortable as it can possibly get. The breakfast spread is super! I'm vegan and I still got to eat a huge variety. The ambience, feel is fantabulous. It's kinda pricey and in end I felt it was completely worth it. I shall visit again for sure. Will recommend to fmly and frnds! :))

Loved my stay at country inn. Good rooms n restaurant, cooperative staff. Was annoyed with one thing... mosquitoes. Hotel management should look into it.

Had a pleasant stay. Good place for a small family weekend getaway. The staff is cordial and co-operative. It had Gym, Spa and wide spread restaurant area.

Buffet breakfast was the best. Special thanks to Shreya & Chetan for assisting us during our stay.

Our stay was nice. Food was excellent and a lot of variety was available in the breakfast. Personal attention was given to the tourists. Waiter named Krushna was friendly and served really well with a smile and gave personal care. His services are really appreciationable.

Rooms are a tad bit small for American standards, but with nice beds. Shower design could be improved as water often enters where sink and toilet is. Not far from major beach points, with friendly staff.

Ambiance is good but food is ok.

Room are good, hotel staff is also cooperative, but the main issue with this hotel is non of the room have mobile network. And its big issue we have come here yesterday for four days but we are planning to change the hotel just due to mobile network issue, such a big hotel and they can't setup proper mobile network using network extension, i have 3 numbers with 3 different network provider and non of number is able to connect here with network in room

Used a nearbuy coupon to visit d place. The management didn bother to check our voucher and perhaps considered us a regular guest staying wth them. Ambience was decent, food was standard for a buffet. Staff was courteous.

It was a pleasant experience staying in country in by Radisson Goa. The ambience and crowd was so nice. Hotel Staff was so sincere i would like to mention interaction with Manas the manager his attitude towards customers is so adorable. He truely believe in relationships building. Just because of Manas I stayed 6 days istead of my 3 days stay in hotel. It was almost like home made food with hygiene can be enjoyed in hotel. It could be a must visit hotel in north goa trip.

Staff is very good. Front desk is very cooperative and breakfast facility is also good!

Room :Dirty and stinky, filthy bathrooms and stinky cushions ,bedsheets and pillow covers had stains.
Food :very bad breakfast ,idli had a foul smell even the omelette was'nt prepared well.overall pathetic experience.will never recommend anybody.

Horribly crowded. Lack of privacy. Just doesn't feel like Goa.

Staff at reception is little reluctant/arrogant. Kind of Don't care attitude.
Other hand it's very polite and humble at restaurant. Food can be improved. It's overall average experience.

Food was amazing.Ms Deepti was really nice. We went for dinner around 11 pm and still she was smiling and served us well.

There is this old Goan charm to this place, pool area looks like a Moroccan oasis which is a nice place to hangout. Restaurant staff is very friendly and helpful. The reception staff however were not very welcoming and wore a blank face whenever I got to interact with them. Rooms are decent enough, the bathroom needs a few touch ups though. Housekeeping is a sad story however, expected fresh towels after the room was cleaned but found no fresh towels, when I asked for a couple of fresh towels the door bell rang after half an hour later to handed me a pair of dental kits, I told the housekeeping staff that I had requested for a pair of fresh towels to which the staff said she'll get it right way but it never showed up.

Awesome hotel with best location, you can find peace and all facilities nearby you, hotel staff, services all are just awesome. Highly recommended for the people planning trip to North Goa.

It's a nice property, standing true its name, reflecting the Goa culture and heritage in many ways. Scores highly on every parameter!

This place has a great ambience and they have a creative way of finding ur room. Its like a maze and thats the best part

Friendly staff who is always ambitious to create every day slightly special. Beautiful internal garden. Very good gym and located close to the beach.
Rooms are not up to the level (partly need some new paint - but nothing serious)

hotel is good but room service is bad. ever after 1 hr of order they not provide timely room service. if you want to enjoy hotel its good . food is good ... breakfast having variety but room service is v.v.v. bad even horable.. even not expect before arrival for any service. good property.. good rooms ..good pool ...good food but but wait think 10 times before book...

The back lane of rooms like room nos 134 135 are in very poor condition.
seapage in all rooms. Bathroom accessories are not maintained.

Wonderful experience & stay. Love to stay here again. Nice & tasty food too. Staff members were very courteous. Candolim beach is also at walkable distance. Perfect place to stay with family. But bit expensive.

Beautiful and well maintained property with luxurious sprawl. Huge pool with kids pool too. Pool clothing and tubes available in the resort. Food is delicious and in room service is good too. Rooms are very good and comfortable with wardrobe, minibar, coffee maker, big restroom. Worth every penny. Not connected to beach though

Good staff and satisfactory food! Average location and accessibility to the beach.

Poorly managed. Average breakfast buffet and taste. There is absolutely no phone network inside the hotel. Poor wifi connection. The rooms were fine.

Beautiful small place, with all necessary luxuries, rooms are decent with a sit out, bathrooms are spacious, pool well managed, food is fine, though lacks variety at breakfast, housekeeping, room service, reception staff, security all are doing excellent job

So far not a good experience at all, fungus in washroom, water from bath cubicle flooded entire washroom since No door in wash cubicle, only thing visible from balcony..black molasses and black mud.. confused receptionist...not the standard expected from Radisson Blu chain.. disappointed

Poor service, Rude Staff , smelly washroom, dirty pool and what not . Would not recommend to anyone...

Stayed here for three nights, the proximity of this place to the beach and rest of Candolim gives this and edge over the other places. They do serve breakfast complimentary with a good spread, with choices of western and Indian. The staff was very courteous/helpful.

Note: Pls be aware of the prices, Travel portals have good deals on this property.

Was a little disappointed to find the hotel is an old property. You can say that with the old, broken, un-mended doors and other dangling bathroom fittings. Have to cross very narrow roads to reach the hotel. Good parking space. Very helpful staffs, wonderful service, Nice food. The swimming pool was well maintained. Will visit once again if the property is mended and maintained properly.

I have stayed here for three days, choosen this property because of its location, really happy with the service from check in to check out , staff is very welcoming. Whenever I came down from my room they assist me with pleasure, welcoming me with smile ,happiness.
