The whole experience working with this company was excellent. Buying a resale is a lot more concerning than a new home. The report was 90-pages in length and meticulously covered all the important elements of the home. I had questions after reading the report and the inspector took the time to explain what he identified, its relevance and risk, if any. I will recommend this company to others.

We were on a short timeline to get everything set to purchase our new home. They arranged the schedule to get our inspection in right away having it completed by noon the next day. Everyone was great to deal with and professional all the way. The report was detailed and very well done. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good home inspection.

Horrible inspection expiernce. The inspector appeared to have little to no knowledge of his job. Complete waste of money. I ended up hiring another inspector to come in the next day to complete a PROPER inspection.

Great team, very knowledgeable, excellent customer service! I had Yves do 2 home inspections for me last year and I must say I couldn t have asked for a better inspector. The inspection report was extremely thorough and every issue or potential issue was clearly identified with no shortage of pictures. Yves took the time to answer all of my questions while doing the walkthrough and even went as far as taking thermal images for me that ended up being very beneficial. Yves and Jeff were great to deal with and I highly recommend them as I will also be using their services again in the future.

Wonderful inspection done on our new house in Riverview. Even though we live out west the inspection information was sent to us quickly...wonderful pictures and they left with an incredible electronic home binder so we have all the info going forward. I highly recommend this professional group.

Good, detailed inspection. However, the communication and payment system could have been better.
Did not call as written in the email. I did not understand the purpose of the Zoom link. The payment system / web app was broken as well. Had to pay over the phone.

Overall, did not feel the charged amount was worth it even though the inspection report was thorough.

Great people, comprehensive inspection and thorough reporting/ explanations. This group of professionals made buying a property from outside the province easy and comfortable. I'm looking forward to seeing my new house live rather from a distance. I couldn't be there in Cocagne because of COVID but for the most part the Cottage to Castle team made me feel like I was there in the house rather than in Ontario. Watch out for these Crooks, should be selling used cars with the up-sales they try and pull. Realtors recommend these guys to give you a lack luster report, Yves should remember to take off his boots before tracking mud all through the inside of the home. They push Radon because the owner owns a Radon company on the side. They also push windows and new doors which is funny because they have a stake in window world too. Great job Roofie'ing people for their money during the whole process.

Had the company do a home inspection as well as a wett certification and Radon test. The report received was over 140 pages with detailed photos and recommendations. I was very pleased with my experience.

WOW! The level of customer service, professionalism and the detailed approach to this house inspection is far beyond what I expected. The detailed report with added pictures is essentially a guide book on how to bring your property up to par. We used this company for a home inspection prior to purchasing a resale home in New Brunswick. The report we got was very thorough with pictures indicating any issues and to which area of the house it involved. Summary at the end of report reiterates major findings if any. Although pricey we did water testing and radon testing as well as the home inspection and very happy we did even if it was just for our own piece of mind. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone. We have had three home inspections in our experience as home owner's but none of them were this thorough.

Mike explained all of his findings from minor things to a possible structural issue with a house we were looking to purchase. Doug did a wonderful job completing our home inspection. He was very thorough and took time to go over the detailed report with me. He answered all my questions, very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Due to the pandemic, we are unable to travel to New Brunswick. We are considering buying an older property sight unseen, which is terrifying! Doug promised to take a ton of photos and give us a clearer picture of the condition of the property (not just the shiny, pretty parts on the MLS listing!) He was able to reassure us about certain aspects of the home and also give us a better idea of which aspects of the home may require further assessment.
