I just love Costco, from the Mad Max attitude of the drivers attempting to take your life in the parking lot, to the road blocks at each sample stand. Love it all. Seriously though, best place to buy all the stuffs.

Crowded, seems to be every time I go there. Anyway if you have not been to a Costco plan on staying for at least one hour and spend over a bill at the minimum unless you are going to get a chicken, the rotisserie chickens are by far the best you're ever going to get in your lives for 7.50 it'll be well worth it and of course you will need to wash it down with a gallon of milk or a case of your favorite beverage you will find in the Isle on your way to check out.

Nice

Always a great place to shop. The only bad thing is the bus routes, but that is not their fault. The 130 and 131 are often late or do not show at all if there is something going on downtown or at the stadiums.

The go-to place for all your wholesale needs for urban Seattlelites. Parking and the gas pump line is always crazy on the weekends - beware of peak hours. Otherwise, the service is fast, friendly, and efficient.

I am aware that you need to be a member to enter costco, but the two ladies that greet you at the door were very rude. and also, Costco has some of the best pizza and you cant even get any if your not a member..uugghhhh. The Seattle Costco on 4th Ave is biased to people who arent members.

Pros:

Pros:
- Service is always great. Return policy is solid and cashiers are always friendly
- Cheap and fast food deli area
- Good selection of liquors, wine, and single-bottle (22oz) beers
- Ample parking and big hallways helps minimize the crowd effect
- Gas prices seem to be the best in Seattle

Cons:
- Cost of the liquor has gotten very expensive over the last year, what appears to be a 20-30% increase in pricing across the board on scotch & bourbon. The savings are not as significant now as they were when they launched liquor.
- Quality of the produce is good but not great. What's up with the banana's always being green?
- The savings are not often as great as they seem. On many of the items I typically get at grocery stores, I might save as much as a dollar per unit on some items but the savings are often much smaller than that. When I do save money, it's often because the brand is inferior to my typical brand. You really need to know what to shop for to actually save money (bread and coffee, for instance).
- A restrictive credit card policy (I believe they only accept MasterCard or Visa, but not both)
- A restrictive family plan policy (I can't use my wife's card)

My wife and I come to this Costco on a monthly basis and spend approximately $500 for each personal trip. Additionally we each make significant quarterly work purchases at $500 - $1000 and Christmas shop here... bottom line we are great customers!

After work this afternoon I met my wife for an impromptu shopping trip - didn't have my card as it was in my other wallet but she had hers. She made a large purchase for work and I picked up a few things for home. She gave her Costco card and politely asked that the transactions be separated. When I reached to pay, Bruce, the checker loudly said "WAIT! YOU'RE PAYING?" to which I responded yes for these few items, but we are married so it doesn't matter... Bruce interrupted me " it DOES matter!!!" Then VOIDED the transaction, called over the manager on the loud speaker, and gave them my driver's license to see if I was a member. I was pretty much in shock but I happen to have MY OWN membership so I waited. I mentioned again that we are the same household as we are married and was completely ignored. When my card came back he silently entered in my number then snarkily confirmed each item that I was paying for.... WHICH HE HAD ALREADY RANG UP so there was no need for such pointed clarification.

IT DIDN'T END THERE.

THEN, on our way out when we had both paid, Bruce asked me WHY DIDN'T I HAVE MY CARD TODAY? Did I forget it? No apology, just one more opportunity to harass me and not acknowledge my marital status, as well as an attempt to shame me I suppose. I chose to walk away instead of getting upset.

I understand the policy, but to obstinately follow a policy to the point of discrimination, and to force the issue even after we respectfully gave in to your demands - this is unacceptable.

Very good prices but too many people to wait to be able to pay at the checkout. Parking is not found. There are almost never too many people for the stores. They need more locations to buy at ease.

The worst customer service ever. Your cashiers are rude and your floor associates act as if your customers are in invisible even when you are standing in front of them say excuse me please. Last but not least, your inventory is seriously lacking in the produce, deli and liquor departments.

As always the selection is nuts, but when it came to my trip to the tire/auto section I had problems. There were 4 people in line at the counter me & no customer service representative in sight, after a few minutes of waiting I struck up a conversation with the guy in front of me saying he'd been waiting for 20 minutes already. I started to look around for someone & when I found them they were just hanging out on a stack of tires on his phone. I asked him "hey man, there's quite a few people waiting can you maybe come help us out?" To which he replied "I'm on break". I don't care if folks take brakes, but at least leave a sign or something so people don't waste their time.

I am here. Sorry if someone had a bad experience at checkout. It was busy but every counter was open and it was a wizz. Didn t have to wait in line. Love to come to Costco get everything here.

Americans are the most popular shopping spots for daily necessities. Trump said that Amazon has hit the retail industry. I think COSTCO is also a big reason. There are no unemployed people who have no money to pay. The shopping atmosphere is relatively good because it is Membership system, shopping first choice
