Costco Wholesale is a membership warehouse club that provides a wide selection of merchandise and exclusive member services. It also features a fine line of quality products under our own Kirkland Signature private label. All Kirkland Signature products are guaranteed to be of equal or better quality than name brands. It has warehouse club operations in 11 countries. The company's first location, opened in 1976 under the Price Club name, was in a converted airplane hangar on Morena Boulevard in San Diego. As of today, it is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
