Costco stores in WA are so much better than other states. I have been to a Costco in NJ, NY and other states but WA are way better than those. There is so much more variety. For the indian folks out there you can get ghee in this Costco, which I thought was very surprising Also I thought this store was cheaper than other Costco's, I don't know if that's possible ... But I just felt like it was cheaper

It's a Costco. Big foods for decent prices. Fuel station, good prices.
No more samples, but not their fault..
Gets really busy, but thats typical. Avoid on weekends and busy hours. Not as busy as the Lynnwood Costco

While I appreciate and regularly shop at a few different Costco locations, the crew at the 4th Ave store continues to be my favorite by far! There just seems to be an extra dose of sincere kindness and helpfulness with so many of the employees there. And with Costco allowing many of us to incorporate more and more organic products into our lives (especially with the many food choices!) by way of their pricing, I expect my Costco runs will continue to increase both in volume and frequency!

Great place except, always packed and they get you hooked on a product and then stop carrying it. That said, they have great products and this Costco has the friendliest staff even when they are overwhelming busy.

I love Costco, especially this location here in Seattle. This location seem to carry a lot of things that other Costco does not carry. Example: Carwash ( ) , local beers ( ) , great variety of furnitures( ). Most of the time, I don't have any problems as I am in and out.

But here is where it falls to 3 stars for me. Every time I go here, Costco seems to rearrange a lot of their items around so you have to go through the same aisle couple times and maybe you'll find what you need, unless you need help.

Just the other day I couldn't find an item and asked a staff who was there by herself if she knew where it was and her respond was "If its not on the shelf we don't carry it" and walked off.

So I walked the aisle one more time and it was on the shelf. Another time (about a month ago) I was at the fridge section buying strawberries and found one that had mold. So I flagged a staff who was busy working really hard and said "I just want to let you know this strawberry has a mold" and the staff response was "Hold on, I'll get back to you. Just leave it there" and walked off. So I left it and walked off.

Another words, their customer service isn't that great from my experience. But like I said most of the time I go there knowing what I want, get what I need, and out the door. You just have to be aware that what you saw there today will be in a different location a week later It's either hit or miss depending on who you ask.

Not the best Costco in the Seattle area. Feels small. Every time I go, I end up not being able to find about five or so regularly carried items at this Costco. It s the only one close in Seattle, so that may be why. Usually busy as well. Does have a car wash and gas though!

Hector in the Tire Center is the man.

I was helped by Hector in the tire center - he was the lone man at the desk with some help trickling in here and there. There was an outrageous line, but he didn't rush his customers. If I didn't have more time, that'd normally be an irritation as a line waiter, but Hector took the time to advise his customers and was mindful of his phone queue as well. He made sure that his coworkers answered phones while he helped the queue.

Hector was an exceedingly good communicator, and took the time to actually make sure there were no mistakes made by his clients. He gave me several heads up on shortcuts and best practices to have the best experience. Really good guy.

Friendly and helpful, from door greeter to cashier and every one in between. A plus that it's close to downtown Seattle and it can get extra PACKED at times and parking can be almost full. AMAZING customer service. Everyone I asked for assistance went out of their way to help with what I was looking for. I've been a member for the last 5 years or so.

Good

I'm not sure there is a BIGGER fan of Costco than myself. I've never counted the number of Costcos I've been too, but probably 40 or 50 in the United States and three foreign countries, but the original store #1 that started it all on 4th Avenue is still one of my favorites.

A visit to the Costco in always sunny Seattle isn't a visit without a $1.50 plus sales tax regular hot dog or polish with sauerkraut and drink of your choice. I frequently do that (as a treat) on my way back from a QuickBooks client in West and South Seattle. You can also go in the late afternoon and graze on the food samples, a good way to see what is new. A good place to get tires.

Great since they have the self checkout. I used to hate going here because I would be faced with long lines. I avoided going often because of this. Since they put self checkout in I find myself going more often and sadly, spending more money. Easy in and easy out. Great place.

A pretty fair Costco located down in Seattle in the industrial area. Easy enough to get in and out of. Customer service is generally good here with this large indoor environment. Attempt to go early or on weekdays as it gets very crowded during the weekends with long checkout lines.
