One of, if not THE BEST pizza restaurant I've ever been to. From first being seated to leaving, staff greeted us with a smile on their face and were quick to help throughout the whole night. During the summer, there's live music every Friday-Sunday night, so we were treated to that too. They were very accommodating of a gluten-allergy in our group and the pizza prices were incredibly reasonable. The menu was filled with many non-conventional options, but it didn't look like you could go wrong. I got the Big Island which was a perfect balance of veggies and meat AND put barbeque sauce in the mix. Dessert was okay ($6 for a relatively small cup of chocolate mouythat we shared), but the best part of the night was the personal thank-yous from not one but several staff members on our way out. All in all, a great way to start our stay here in Ellensburg.
Very creative and unique menu offerings. Had the Thai pizza the first time and thought it was great. Next visit ordered the Monterey pizza and it was pretty good but sorely missing sufficient toppings. Slices were mostly bare. A lot to pay for a cheese pizza with a few artichoke pieces.
The pizza and beer here are amazing. Awesome atmosphere as well. The service was attentive and we will be back many times. Love it
Friendly staff the bruchetta and pizza was delicious would definitely recommend this place
Great, high quality ingredient, food. Tasty and well prepared, great attentive service, (nearly empty at noon). Beautiful straw bale building at it's finest. Exquisitely decorated surroundings.
High prices however, I was being treated or, I could not have afforded it. Prices have doubled from when they first opened a few years ago. Spinach Salad was excellent but portion was small, with no added substitution for my deletion of the bacon. Pizza was much better bang for (high) buck with excellent quality ingredients & fresh thin crust.
We tried three pizza's in order of the best
Donna's Fav ( definitely getting this again! perfect amount of garlic)
Thai pizza ( will get again)
Margherita ( I Guess we have been spoiled by Tutta Bella's )
Best pizza in town. They also have other really good options on the menu if someone s not feeling pizza. Good atmosphere and great selection of beer.
Don't miss out on a good atmosphere for any age, kids included. Loved the food. Pizza and salads were our fav. Nicely decorated. We loved it there during summer with the outdoor patio and live music to enjoy.
The food here is okay... nothing specially, sadly. It's a good place to bring a group (simple menu, great servers, and space), but I wouldn't necessarily take a date here. The atmosphere is confusing and kinda loud. It's hard for me to identify what this place is trying to be. Again, it's a fine place, but I don't know if the cost is worth the reward.
Best pizza I've ever tasted, awesome service, definitely recommend this place
Great pizza! Interesting and creative toppings for their selection. Easy and quick service. Very tasty!
The food is incredibally good and unique combos of flavours
Home away from home :)! Nikki and Tessa provided some of the most excellent service we have ever enjoyed. Two visits in one day, front and center for the Zags game. Gracious service, delicious food and a happy, comfortable atmosphere. All within easy reach for reasonable prices.
Great food and drinks. Several local beers on tap.
Nice place, but am always left wishing for better...had the caprese salad which was good, but waited 30 mins for the server to show, and the pizza was bested by cheaper pizza from Brooklyn's.
Very good food, comfortable environment, and Great service from Joanna
First seats the lights were strobing so we asked to move. Waited a long time to order. Pizza came burnt and missing toppings, waitress was nice and apologized saying we had a replacement on the way with the toppings. We ordered their menu pepperoni and they forgot what goes on it, hmmm. Our appetizer came with the pizza. We were there over an hour...will not go back.
On a good note the waitress only charged us for the appetizer.
We made reservations ahead of time for a family birthday. The table was set and ready when we arrived. The food was amazing and came out timely. The waitstaff was so nice and attentive, didn t have to ask for anything. One of my favorite places in town!
love the atmosphere on the weekends and the pizzas are outstanding
It was good the veggie pizza was tasty...and I felt well taken care of...
The staff were wonderful and the food was delicious!
The water is good. That's as far as we got here 45 mins later we got up and walked out
The options were too adventurous for my liking. I just wanted a basic pepperoni pizza but it came with you there toppings so I didn't even want to try it. Then I wanted to go for Hawaiian but they didn't offer that either. Definitely not a place for picky eaters. The sandwiches and other non-pizza meals were also too different for me.
Donna's Fav is the best pizza I have ever had in my life!
We took our food to go. Mostly because there was a party of 35 (seriously) & they wanted their check divided 35 ways, with each paying for their drink. So our waitresses was indisposed the first 20 minutes we were seated checking out those 35 people & making sure they didn't skip out in their bill. The line was so long and disruptive all other services stopped in the resturant because of this overly selfish group. The poor waitress did not get an appropriate tip because each person was only paying for 1/35 of the bill, so they felt didn't need to tip her. After each person paid they then stood in the resturant blocking the servers, customers, front door & made it very difficult for the line to keep moving. After 20 minutes they all left in a huge hurd & decided to split up in the street in front of the pizza shop to go to their own cars! The pizza shop did great handling, what esentially look liked the group from hell.
Very good hipster pizza, I tried 4 different kinds and each was pretty good, even the one with pineapple and hate pineapple on pizza.
My husband and I dined here while spending a night in Ellensburg and I'm sure glad we did! We had garlic bread, a couple of pizzas, and tried several beers. Everything was delicious and I only wish that I could keep coming back and trying everything on the menu!
Staff was very friendly! Gunnar was our server and helped us find what we were looking for. The food was exceptional, I'll definitely make a point to come back again.
Very good food, and friendly service. Too windy to be on the patio, but that would be a nice spot for dinner otherwise.
Very hip waitress great food a little chilly so dress warm outside dining
Really great pizza and salad. I almost always eat here when I visit Ellensburg.
The pizza is one of the best in town. Their outside seating is large, so you can always find a place to sit and eat. The Thai Pie is my personal favorite. My boyfriend and I love to attend their musical events, as well.
Best pizza in town, usually have to wait but totally worth it! Friendly staff and cold beer.
Awesome vegan margherita pizza. Add the roasted garlic you won't be sorry!
Nice vibe inside and out. Excellent food and service.
We went on Father's Day, wasn't busy at all maybe 3 tables. Waitress was nice enough but forgot one drink and didn't let us know what was going on with our pizza. We waited over 50 minutes for 2 pizzas. When they finally came they were a little burnt but still good.
Great fresh pizza, quality beer, and friendly service.
Expensive. Hit and miss - Either really good or mediocre results with the last 3 visits.
Delish pizza, unique combos. Happy hour every day 2-5pm with $3 off full pizzas!! Excellent brew selection as well- support local
Great original pizza selections including a possible gluten free crust which is excellent
Great food, amazing service, beautiful place. Nothing more to ask for in a restaurant.
This place has unreal pizza and a good drink selection. Connected with live music and a great location! This is a place I love to visit.
Fun place, was looking for a brewery & pizza pub. The Cornerstone Pie was suggested by Trip Advisory. Fairly new maybe 5 yrs old decorated with artifacts and recycled materials. Loved trying new craft beers and pizza. The waitress was a sweetheart.
My husband and I were looking for something tasty that we could take home; while there were two pizza places in the area, we chose this one, and I'm so glad we did! Even though we were just getting a to-go order, they were very hospitable to us and made sure we'd been well taken care of. It took a little while for it to be prepared but we didn't feel forgotten at any time, and it was worth the wait. The food traveled well, and tasted awesome! We got the fries with benefits, and the pesto Pacifica and garlic chicken pizzas. The fries and garlic chicken were stellar, and while the pesto Pacifica was tasty, I think I'd probably try something else before having it again. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area!
Made a reservation and when we got there we got sent to an outside table, a little too cold for our liking although the staff did a good job trying to accommodate for the lack of heat with the propane heater pillars. Food was good as per usual.
Good food, great service. Chef who cares about happy customers.
Very good location to watch sports and grab food. Food is delicious, people are very nice and had amazing experience overall.
Fabulous pizza, crust to die for! Wonderful staff. Thanks Kai.
crushin on the GF crust and want to marry the garlic aioli. Our waiter Sam was the best!
Cornerstone has a good selection of pizzas and rotating taps, and it's fun to try a different beer each time I'm there (I always stick with the Firehouse pizza). Service has gotten much better since they first opened! It's a pretty laid back environment that is family friendly and they are generally pretty busy, especially on weekend nights, as is to be expected. It can get pretty loud in the side room they have, so expect that. We went last Friday and it was difficult to hear what my friend directly across the table was saying. I think prices may have increased slightly since the minimum wage increase, so if you've been there before minimum wage increases, just expect to pay a bit more next time you go.
We were looking for some good pizza, and boy, did they deliver! Their crust is amazing, and it's a cute little spot with some nice outdoor seating. We ordered online and the pizzas were ready and waiting when we arrived
Had the Rustic Vegetarian Pizza. Straight forward Pizza with largish chunks of tomatoes mushrooms and olives. Pleasant seasoned especially basil. Real cheese, make sure to bite or it will stretch as far as you reach. Called it in from the interstate and it was worth the drive. Drive up was pleasant and easy
I come here often, always willing to try a different pie and have never been disappointed! Service is always top notch, they are always willing to make you feel at home!
We decided to give Cornerstone a try and boy oh boy, it did not dissapoint.
Order "Donna's Fav."
This was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Fresh, original and reasonably priced.
Love the food, great location and appreciate their cooperation with CWU for the Pint night lecture series. Downside is the service can be very irratic and slow.
Edit: After a year, I can say I love this joint. Great food, decent service, quality ingredients. You can split a large pizza and an appetizer for $20 durring happy hour and it's more than enough food for 2.
Delicious pizza and wonderful service. My SO and I have been here twice and we absolutely love it so far. He prefers meatier pizza, while I go for more veggies, but both have been wonderful. The service is fantastic and very accommodating.
The potato and arugula is delicious, but I'm personally not a fan of the texture of the potatoes. I like them more of the crunchy side where as they have a crisp, chewy texture here, similar to undercooked potato but with all of the cooked, potato flavor.
The garlic cheese bread is great, very subtle and a bit oily, but served with a perfect fresh marinara, and the BBQ pulled pork pizza is amazing, and very filling, but not heavy. The BBQ sauce is light and zesty, and compliments the toppings well without being overpowering.
The Black and Blue steak is really good. The steak is tender and buttery, but the blue cheese is not very sharp. It was a surprisingly sweet pizza but the flavors were very good.
The pizza crust deserves it's on category. Definitely on the thin and crispy side. No extra spices or shenanigans, just delicious, perfect crust. It has the slightest hint a Parmesan flavor that really enhances the mild cheeses the top their pizza with.
They also have very fresh salads and a delicious balsamic vinaigrette.
Waiter was friendly and willing to explain menu. The pizza and salad were excellent. Good selection of Washington microbrews on tap.
I ordered a BLTA grinder. The avocado isn t ripe and the bacon is 90% fat. Had to pretty much eat the bread and tomato by itself. First time eating here will probably be my last as I was expecting high quality for price and advertising that I ve been seeing around town!
Pizza was so good that I completely spaced and forgot to snap a picture of it. When it got to me I just immediately started eating it. Everything else was amazing as well. Beer selection was pretty decent and cold. Service was super helpful and friendly. Everything was so great that I decided that I needed dessert also. I went with the cheesecake and it was delicious. I highly suggest checking out Cornerstone Pie if you are in the area.
