I'm doing fine. They (staff) treat me like gold. Don't abuse me at all and I see the staff act mostly the same. The food is great and the cleanlyness is great. I'm just a resident, but I'm a happy camper. Have a nice day someone.

My mother has gone there twice for rehab following hospitalizations. Her primary goals when there had been physical therapy and continued medical management. The physical therapy was great. They were able to get her leg swelling down thus impriving her mobility. The nurses and CNAs I met were caring, friendly, and professional.
However, there are other areas that the facility was lacking. Though I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, there seems to be a need for a lower ratio of CNAs to patients. They are professional but I could observe, stretched thin. The food was not great to say the least. For example, last night when I was visiting, mother's dinner was late and unidentifiable. The floor(s) could use a serious face-lift, doing so would improve the quality of life for both patients and staff alike. (This is a review of ONLY the short term, rehab side.)
Better than Clinton Hospital. New linens, cabinets, closets are needed. Nurses need to pay attention to the needs of patients. Sizes of undies, the patients diets! Young PT nurses are GREAT!
I just celebrated my one year anniversary as an employee. I am a Registered Nurse and the MDS/MMQ Coordinator. I am proud to be part of this Clinical Team. Nurses are caring, devoted and engaged with the patients and families. The building has been evolving into a Utopia for the residents, patients, family members and staff. Renovations are currently happening to update the furniture in the rooms. The new lobby area is aesthetically pleasing and a gathering area that the residents enjoy.
This nursing home is awful my uncle and aunt had lived here for now 4 months. My uncle fell today on the tile floor he was calling out for help but no one came. When i got there about 3 hours later he was in so much pain i asked for a pain killer to make him more comfortable it took them a whole hour to come. So then he asked for a heating pad but never got one they said he was fine and not to worry even though he is 86 years old and had just taken a bad fall. I am 13 years old a responsible thing of me to do is call his health pro xci that he fell so I did. So after i went down to the front desk to file a complaint sure enough adults were talking about me telling how rude I am. Even though I help them out so much doing things for the residents that live there. The staff there are so immature they were fighting very loudly i might add in front of the residents. One of the aids had the nerve to yell at my aunt because she got confused on where her room was and went in to her neighbors room to use the bathroom. This facility has such low standers and so dirty some people have poo in their diapers for hours on end like my uncle. If you have a family member living here I highly recommend to take them out and bring them some where else.
If your loved one suffers from dementia or advanced dementia I would not suggest this facility. They do not have a specific memory unit to address the special needs for folks suffering from dementia. The daily activities are limited and if you suffer from dementia you will not be participating in any activities and may not be receiving the hands on care that you need. Separate from this the facility is in serious need of a face lift. It is clear very little money is invested in the facility. The care seems very average and it is not uncommon for people to be sitting in the hallways begging for assistance or water. Mom lived out the last 10 months of her life here and wish we at the time had a better option for a facility to care for her. Visit the medicare.gov website, search for nursing homes and review the health inspection violations for this facility. That information will be valuable in evaluating the quality of care for this facility versus others.
The staff at Medway Country Manor are awesome! They are all dedicated to the health, safety and welfare of the patients/residents. My mother has been here since early spring. She is always neat, clean, safe and well cared for. Therapy staff has worked closely with her and Mom, has become more mobile. Covid has made it almost impossible to visit face to face. Staff has been exceptional. (I have had many visits with my mother, through the window). Staff work with my schedule for our visits. Thank you to all staff for your kindness, caring, professionalism and love shown to my mother and all of your patients/residents.
