Nope, would not recommend. Their communications and overall customer service is lackluster. I still don't understand why I went into my home with 20% equity and still got stuck with PMI. Even at closing the closing agent and the real estate agent didn't understand why I was paying PMI. That question was never clearly answered. I regret not shopping around...

Had problems with two other lenders. Seemed they were making up or changing rules as they went along. They kept pushing back the closing date. Cornerstone was upfront with everything and was able to close within 2 weeks. We were able to sign closing documents from a different state than the sellers. We were very happy with them.

This was the best experience that I ve ever had dealing with a lending company! I first contacted Chris on July 27,2017. He did the prequalification and once we were approved which was in 2 days we looked at 3 houses and put a contract in for it they accepted within a couple of hours and from there it was smooth.
