Horrible. For 10 mos I had been very sick with an uncurable disease. Since there is no cure, FL Hospital only provides psych referrals. However my holistic Doctor and a very large active patient community enabled me to self treat, and it helped me to find some relief for a while. The disease eventually destroys the nervous system, brain, and heart. When the disease spread to the chest, causing several heart attacks, my family was on board when I called Hospice. The Hospice personnel said they needed a physical address. Since I had traveled for my medical care, I was not at my home address. This raised red flags because they thought I was homeless. They called 4 Police officers to my Hotel. It was the most horrific public display. They questioned me loudly, in front of other residents, about my personal health issues. I chose not to take off my bandages and display my never-healing wounds. It is none of their business. They asked me a lot of questions about being homeless; which I am not. They were concerned about suicide, and even more importantly, wanted to know if I intended to hurt another person. This was unbelieveable! I am barely able to walk, throwing up daily, and never so much as had a traffic ticket or any desire to hurt another person or animal. I had enjoyed a phenomenal career and did much volunteer work during my life. The hotel management was not happy with presence of law enforcement on the property. Heavy police presence hurts business, and they are struggling like so many small businesses. Thank goodness, they know me well, and they have been very kind. This Hospice organization is simply another vulture group, looking to assess the assets of the dying. I am a Christian and believe that God has guided me away from these Satanic people. This incident has shown me how important it is to make plans with those who share my beliefs; not those of some International corporation.

Horrible and negligent treatment of patients and family. Nothing but attitude from the staff, don't take your family members there. Complete lack of communication and staff doesn't like to work. Only one patient in the facility and still can't attend to care.

The Angels at Cornerstone were a true blessing to me and my family at the end of my daughter's life. The nurses and staff treated her with absolute dignity and respect. We couldn't have made it through that most difficult time without them.

My grandmother was a patient for palliative care here last year. The nurses, doctors, clergy, and other staff were amazing. I'll always appreciate how good they were to my family, and my grandmother in her final days.

My brother had esphogia cancer and was on hospice ...

My brother had esphogia cancer and was on hospice care November 2018, passing December 29, 2018. Yes, they do REQUIRE a DNR! Not until 2 days prior to passing did anyone tell us he needed a gluten free diet! Not once, did anyone say we could crush the massive amount of pills when he couldn't swallow. Doctors take forever to answer nurses! When they decided decided he needed around the clock care, a very rude nurse Kim, refused to speak to my mother! When she arrived she was helping the previous nurse move him. She handled him as if he was already dead! Kim jerked his head and left it to the left side so we couldn't see his face or any possible facial expression. He always slept with his arms above his head. Every time he tried to put his arms above his head she would pull them done to his side and give him more morphine. Between 12:30 and 1am, she crushed pills and mixed it with morphine and gave it to him at least 10 times! Each time she gave it to him she repeatedly slapped his face!!! And I do not mean patted!!! She stopped when she realized I was watching. 3am when he passed, she SMILED at my mother and said, "sorry for your loss." And kept smiling! It took them 4 days to pick up equipment. Who wants to look at that for 4 days? This place is HORRIBLE!!! Worst service ever!!!

Cornerstone and the sapphire team were so empathetic and helpful in our father Rudy's care. Each team member showed incredible grace and understanding while managing our father's care with such profession, combined with human concern. They took care of Dad, but they also took care of us and we are so grateful! Thank you Cornerstone

I have no way to thank to Cornerstone hospice for all they have done for my mother. I don't know what I would have done without their help and dedication. Diana the nurse who is in charge of my mom is the sweetest person, compassionate and very professional and she always is anticipating all my mom's needs. All the blue teem is amazing, the social worker Bruce, Diane, the doctor... everyone is very kind and helpful
Thanks to all of you not only for what you do for my mother but for support me and helping to go through this terrible moment of our lives.
