Ideal place to spend relaxing days with the family.
I like the waterfall inside...i will get naked and bathe in it..
Beautiful place .... ideal to enjoy, relax and spend unforgettable days
Once again we had a fab time. ( Second visit in 12 months) the staff where excellent as all ways and kids club reps a real gem. I can see evidence of continual improvement. However the rate of progress is slow and needs to focused on quality to. My children enjoyed the heated pools, free wi-fi and new TVs. We will be coming back
Beautiful spacias clean rooms, and the reception was first class..
I liked it, especially the children's area of the pool.
Pretty standard accommodation and food. Nothing special but no complaints.
Great hotel. Spotlessly clean and friendly staff. Suoer location.
Lovely big apartments with great terraces. Options for kids and adults for pools and the splash park is a must for little ones. Plenty of amenities close by and a 10 minute walk into Puerto de Mogan, which is simply beautiful.
Such a wonderful holiday destination couldnt fault a thing except the towels on sunbed policy was not adhered to and it was a bit of a joke by the end of the holiday
Fantastic facility, never seen the husband at breakfast bufet, lots of activities, heated pool. Relatively small rooms, good bathrooms
Absolutely fantastic location and accommodation. Suited us (a family of three) perfectly. Brilliant for children. There's so much for them to do. Food is great and overall excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made my husband's big birthday really special. Would go back in a heartbeat.
In an odd surrounding - By which I mean it seems to be in a up and coming area, but couldn't be certain if it was up and coming or just started and given up on... Not a problem though, the surroundings are fine, clean and a 10 minute walk gets you to the pretty harbor where there's a beach and nice restaurants and bars.
Very comfortable and lush common area's. Didn't see the rooms.
Beautifull plants and very big rooms. Staff is kind. A lot of old people. They were complaining about water on their hair... so childish. It is a pool so hair can be wet! The solution of the hotel was not playing with balls and other things?? Very strange. So the hotel is not child friendly...
For the rest we had an amazing time!
Super nice hotel with friendly and competent staff.
Really, it is windless in this bay. And green, but something like that!
Great hotel!
This is our 4th stay here the hotel and food are fantastic. Staffing a little on the low side this visit, but that could ve to do with the recent holiday celebrated here.
Some parts of the hotel are looking a little dated, but constantly see maintenance workers out putting things right and aiming to maintain high standards.
The hotel is spotless with such amazing work by all the staff from front of house, life guards, kitchen staff, chamber maids to the waiting staff. Everyone gives it their all.
Good atmosphere. Excellent employee treatment. Food quite quality, better than some 5 star on the island.
Very good to go with children but I advise asking for air conditioning because they are very hot. The price is really good but avoid the month of August because it is usually full
A decent hotel, with excellent pool areas and great location. My biggest complaint was that the rooms were quite chilly during our visit (winter) as there was no heating or air conditioning.
We r coming again soon on our 3rd visit !I love puerto mogan and love this hotel it's got everything u could need !The gardens and plants are gorgeous !Staff always friendly and helpful !Food lovely ,cooking and feeding area really clean considering how many people pass through in a day ! Just so excited to come back Gran canaria my favorite place and a favorite hotel !!
Lovely week there. Friendly staff, clean room and surroundings.
Amazing place to stay. Everything you could need for a perfect holiday
Nice appartments. Its clean. And the staff at the reception where very nice.
Lovely apartments clean and well equipped first visit but would definitely stay again , loved the little kitties that lived around the complex - got quite attached to them
Great service, nice rooms, great facility, delicious food, best entertainment. We are here for the third time and probably not for the last time.
Establishment that already urgently need a remodel, especially inside the apartments. Furniture very old, worn and poorly maintained. The common areas are acceptable. The buffet food was quite improvable, many dishes are not achieved and are not appetizing at all. The best is your staff in general. He is very kind, strong dedication to the client's well-being.
A very quiet hotel, with excellent facilities and unbeatable customer service. It has two freshwater pools, heated, which are fantastic. The vegetation is very abundant and well maintained. Reasonably good food inside what is a buffet (they always bore me). Comfortable rooms The only downside is that you can not see the sea.
Overall a solid hotel. We spent a weekend here to celebrate a family birthday. Here are our thoughts:
Positives
- overall hotel is finished to a high quality - it feels well updated and well taken care of - not tired like many resorts where the reality can be very different from the photos
- food is generally good quality, especially for a buffet. Breakfast buffet was particularly good.
- lots of amenities including several pools, several restaurants and bars, gym, tennis, and kids club
- although quite expensive to stay here, stuff is quite well priced once you are here eg around 5-6 euros for a cocktail
- the bar in the main lobby has a fun G&T menu
- we appreciated pretty balanced mix of families with young kids and more elderly couples
Things to be aware of
- grounds a very large so you end up walking a lot
- there are no views of the sea from the hotel, but from the main pool you can be downtown with a 5-10 mins walk
- WiFi is pretty bad - hard to get a connection and even when you do, the speed is slow (less than 1MB/S)
-Beds are quite uncomfortable in the family suites. Two single beds put together and very very noisy (plastic cover around bed) and creaky when you move
Not very touristy yet, so a quiet place. Nice apartment but the cleaning leaves something to be desired ....
Place and employees, very good.
Security, and adaptation to the new normal bad.
Works with guests
Meals: salad, chicken and pasta.
Cockroaches in quantity
Hammock cleaning, nonexistent
Pool capacity, only when there is a lifeguard
Hydrogels, only in reception and dining rooms
Clients in many cases go without a mask and some construction workers, among the clients
Overcrowded, I don't think the capacity is respected. The apartments on both sides I was in were busy and customers kept coming in
We have been my family the week of July 11 to 18, the treatment of the staff very well, the hotel is approximately 70% the perfect room, unbeatable terrace, the little one hits the buffet very fair, but the quality of the food is perfect
Thank you
Just love going back to this place... quality and such a nice atmosphere. One or two members of staff could be a touch more friendly however doesn't take away from your stay here
The huge terrace, and the apartments in general very good
The facilities are quite acceptable; but the staff is wonderful
A magnificent hotel for a few days of relaxation with exquisite service, heated swimming pools, a restaurant area in a lagoon, with a large pedestrian avenue and close to the beach.
Cozy apartments with sea view, and nice large terrace
Really great place till now, lovely location, lots of greenery, great place for germans, since the receptionist is German also...great facilities, good staff and really clean and lookind quite new...The breakfast was also good with lots of options and fresh.. Suitable for families and kids also..
Despite being understaffed, it is a pleasure for the senses to stay at this hotel.
Undoubtedly a good choice, we spent a very pleasant week, the very attentive staff, the spacious apartment, with a terrace where you could enjoy the sun and where the children can play. The pools all great.
One of our best hotel holidays. Going back again shortly
Amazing hotel !! The best I have visited and I have traveled around the world several times. Very clean and large rooms with nice views, large and very clean complex with very comfortable pool. SPECTACULAR Restaurant, INCREDIBLE TASTING MENU, with very attentive waiters and with a kindness of 10. HOTEL TO RECOMMEND.
A great hotel with good service, a fantastic and large green garden, several pools, water gym and other activities. The food is superb ! Very good location in Puerto de Mogan. Imagine coming back!
Place trankilo
Good weather and excellent treatment
Ideal to go with family, with very good entertainment and swimming pools for the little ones
A great hotel with plenty to do. My favourite place for the price. ood food and great animation team.
The description of the hotel is perfect. A luxury hotel because it makes you feel every minute you are. From the reception, to the wonderful Eugenio, food director and each of his workers. We will return to that warmth, to feel cared for and loved.
A large hotel, well adapted or all kinds of public, and with a very friendly and attentive staff. Many options to not get bored. It includes a botanical garden and an archaeological zone in the enclosure.
A well run apartment-hotel. Friendly, multi-lingual staff. Stayed for the 3rd time and will be back. The only minus was the dinner buffet. Chaos reigned plus the food was not of great standard.
A very good four star hotel set in amazing gardens. Exceptionally clean. Staff very attentive. Food average same as most other four star hotels
Been five times now over a period of years so really that says it all.
Nice Hotell in Mogan with a little Shopping center near by and very nice N44 Restaurant with good service and food
Stayed first 2 weeks of April
-Room: very clean. Separate bedroom, kids on sofa bed. Kitchen ok, but microwave instead of oven/grill (came as a surprise when we bought pizza on first night). Rooms cleaned, beds made and towels changed 5 days out of seven. Balcony large - table chairs, 2x sun beds, drying rack for washing and (randomly) a shower. Sun shields that extend over balcony if required. Built on a terrace so if you fall off balcony, you only land on the room below balcony. Good views of mountains and sea. Overall, good value for the price.
-Pools good. Clean. Heated up to April. When we were there, the water temp felt about 27C - I don t like cold pools, but it was acceptable. All pools have life guards. North pool quieter (always sun beds). Full splash park suitable for younger kids (always sun beds around). Sunbathing areas had comfortable sun beds on artificial turf - worked well.
-Hotel Restaurant: only visited once. Buffet. Good selection of food. Catered for gluten free. Recommend the waffles and ice cream from the pool bar (only 2.50), although, annoyingly, signs round resort said they were available from snack bar, when they weren t
-Insects: no wasps, ants or mosquitoes (at least in our visit)
-Resort: amazing. Puerto Morgan is a very pretty, well planned resort. Having visited 5 other resorts during stay, none compares to Puerto Morgan. Nothing over 3 stories. Beautiful pedestrianised path between the beach and hotel, with Oleanders and palm trees surrounding. Tourist market twice a week (trinkets rather than fruit and veg). Lots of underground parking (as I said, well planned). The harbour is incredibly beautiful with narrow streets with oleanders of many colours hanging down.
-Eating in resort: harbour is expensive, followed by the beach front, with best value at the shopping centre. Very good selection of gluten free food throughout resort
-Beaches: imported Saharan sand (yellower than Caribbean white sand). V clean. No smoking allowed. Lifeguard. Sea wall creates v flat sea - almost no waves. Shallow sea that increases in depth slowly- no sudden increases in depth. Feet washing facilities.
-Shopping: supermarket 2 mins walk from hotel reception. Well stocked. Reasonably priced. Lots of gluten free food.
-Travel: Bus station just off pedestrianised path. Lots of buses to other resorts, tourist places (aqua park and dolphins) and crucially to Las Palmas airport. We travelled lots by bus.
Beautiful hotel complex, which despite the size / number of rooms looks like a botanical garden and is in excellent condition. The service and the food offered in buffet form are absolutely great! Here you can spend a relaxing holiday, in a quiet place that you would not expect in Gran Canaria.
Far from the hustle and bustle of such places as Maspalomas or Playa de Ingles etc.
Good facilities, good value for money, food is not bad, staff are friendly. Not 5* as the apartments are slightly dated - lovely modern bathrooms (with terrible glass sliding doors, weird) but the living space is straight out of the 80s and the exposed spotlight bulbs don't do it any favours...
Lovely large apartments, pleasant staff. Big supermarket just outside the front entrance, a pleasant 7 or 8 minute walk down the pedestrian area to the shops, beach, bars and restaurants.
Absolutely loved it, great for the whole family.
My only problem was that the bathroom doors are weird (ours broke but they fixed it fairly quickly) you can still see in when the door is shut.
Excellent buffet dinner in the evening, good service, pleasant atmosphere. As a repeat offender we are as always satisfied!
