Best place to see concerts in the Midwest. Security staff can be a little rude at times. Ticket prices are a bit to high also. Still giving it five stars.
Second time here. Good time. Sound not perfect but good. Disappointed the seating was so tight. In my experience, if you pay a premium price for a premium seat, you shouldn t be wedged in so tight down in front. Take out two seats per row and make a little bit of elbow room.
Intimate setting to see your favorite bands. I'm spoiled since I had 3rd row seats, that's Orch 3 - there are three rows of "Orchestra" seats before you even get to 1st row.
show was great, food and snacks good but theatre could use updated seating. good parking
Great location, the acoustics are awesome. Fantastic show......
Exciting little venue for music and much easier to get to then Chicago. Ron who runs the theatre is Mr personality. The town of Saint Charles is so quaint and charming.
Dated. But it's an old historic building. That means small bathrooms and tight ish accommodations. Darn fine shows though! Great entertainment and the prime rib in the upstairs Club Arcada is fantastic.
No bad seat. Great concerts. Wish I wasn't 2 hours away.
You definitely get a different experience depending on where you sit. We now prefer the balcony. The floor is ok, but they still haven't mastered keeping the "seat jumpers" from crowding out the aisles. They finally blocked the front so the "seat jumpers" can't seat hop to the front by the stage when they paid for cheaper seats. But, now the "seat jumpers" are standing in the aisles down front. Staff tries to keep it clear and they succeed at the start of the night but they lose control quick and once they do it's impossible to recover with big crowds.
No a.c., it was miserable. Not to mention that they double sold our seats! Thank God we purchased from venue online so our name was attached otherwise we would have lost our seats we paid alot of money for!
On that other hand, drinks were reasonable for Chicago area.
Great shows, check out the speak easy restaurant it's amazing!
The most fantastic place to see any show. This small, quaint and historic theatre offers a wonderful place to see some of the best old time music we all grew up with and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Love it!
Venue would function better if bulldozed and turned into a parking garage
Ron brings in a lot of great entertainment. The atmosphere is great and the people working there are very nice.Keep up the great work Ron. Wendy and I love concerts at the Arcada. Its a great place to watch the Superbowl too
Great set up for live music/concerts! Not a bad seat anywhere, plus you can get dinner/drinks before & after a show in their speakeasy within this facility as well!
Took the family to see Sabbath and Thunderstruck. What a great time. The Acada is a great place to see a show. We get seats on the upper balcony. The sound is great. I have never felt nervous about bringing my kids either.
Outstanding! Very intimate setting and great acts!! Been there many many times. The owner and employees are like new friends each time.. even though we don't know each other.
Come one come all next Thursday Led Zeppelin Kashmir the best Zeppelin show in the world followed by Echoes of Pompeii the best Pink Floyd tribute in the world don't miss this show
Cool place to see a concert. Small venue so all seats are good. Bathrooms are still a problem Ron Onesti. Youve been promising for better ones the last 3 years. Not to good. And I come there about 3 times a year. But a cool place you have there.
Loved Blue Oyster Cult.
Too cool.
Great venue for any show! Ron Onesti really makes everyone feel welcome!
Went to the restaurant which is upstairs from the theater. It was a fun time with good food and good entertainment.
Our first visit to Club Arcada was AWESOME! Food is very tasty, albeit a tad pricey. Wonderful atmosphere. Certainly a date night must.
First time there was treated very nice old venue but maintained well
You don't have to go to Chicago for live entertainment. Arcada theater is absolutely amazing. Great venues. Friendly staff.
Fun location to see a concert however the building is noticeably deteriorating in front of your eyes. Parts of the ceiling wallpaper hanging and dropping. Seat are worn, lopsided, and feel like they are barely anchored to the floor.
One of the best places to see a concert. Always have great concerts. Well worth the 45 minute drive.
Second time at this concert venue. Always a nice experience. The sound system is terrific. First time there I saw Gladys Knight. The second time I saw the group War. Will be going back soon.
Historic theater... intimate proximity to any performance from any seat. Friendly staff. Located near the Fox River in beautiful St. Charles. Many great restaurants near by. A show paired with a nice dinner makes great date night with the wife or girlfriend...
Excellent community theater. Had a fun experience. Looking forward to going more often.
My wife and I just saw Richard Marx there last night. First time being there for me. What can I say, what a beutiful theater. It's like going to the Chigao Theater but in St. Charles. Acoustics are spot on, bar on sight, not to mention the Speakeasy on 3rd floor. Can not wait to go again and see some AMAZING SHOWS! I saw Eric Johnson was going to be there! That would be another one to check out amongst other great performers. Check it out, and with parking close by and restaurants galore.
As a frequent visitor of the Arcada I can say that I truly enjoy going again and again. The theater is very oldschool and comes with an experience each time. I've never been disappointed with an experience here, the owner maintains his facility very well and is always there. He greets people and is involved with the talent, he checks in and makes sure everyones enjoying whatever is going on that night. We also tried Club Arcads, the speakeasy upstairs. It definitely felt like we were in a scene of the Great Gatsby. Waiters and waitresses are dressed to look like they're from the 1920's and the decoration is outstanding. On top of that, theres always something to go and see here. Almost never a dull night at the Arcada. I highly recommend checking it out no matter who you are. They have something for everyone and you will be taken care of.
Normally, I would love this place. Heat was malfunctioning and I was very cold.
Great place to see a show. Super nice staff, great sound, historic location.
One of the best sound systems you'll find, fantasticly small, intimate concert experience
Great old beauty. Fantastic sound system. And Ron makes a mean meatball.
You must try the restaurant upstairs. Unbelievable look and feel to it. Food was great as well.
Excellent theater owner is really nice. Great shows
Great sound and atmosphere. If you ever want to hear a band from years past or present, this venue is a must see.
Needs a total rehab but still fun to see a show. Even better when half full really for beer lines bathroom etc.
Great concert venue. Please book Chris Collins again A.S.A.P. OUTSTANDING SHOW.
Excellent presentation of Roger Hodgson at the summer theater
All seating is great! Food was fast at the restaurant and service was outstanding!
I can't wait to go back and see another show
Nice theater, but the seats were hard sitting in for 2 hours. No they were terrible no leg room, but Paul Anka put on a great show.
Excellent venue! Great history at this theater and the manager of the place came out to shake hands/great some of us. We saw Tommy James and the Shondells....what a great show! Employees were kind and courteous. Will be back for other shows when we can.
This is a great place to see a concert. Wherever you sit in this theater, you're guaranteed a great view. There's no such thing as a bad view of the stage here. I went here to see Blue Oyster Cult and I sat in what is referred to as the "Nosebleeds", although it wasn't really the Nosebleeds because I had a great view of the stage. This theater almost got demolished 10 years ago. Thank god it didn't.
Awesome old building great entertainment to see , concerts, always a great time thank you Ron Onesti.....
What a beautiful place! It was laid back, the employees were helpful and patient. The music sounded great! The Big plus was meeting Mark Slaughter after the show. They even have a place to do that without it getting frustrating. Love the place. Glad I don't live close... I'd be broke$$$$!!!!
Saw Gino Vanelli tonight, 1st time I ve ever seen him perform and the sound system and dynamics were excellent. We ll definitely come back for more performances.
Ron Onesti has restored and rebuilt this theater to its original 1920s Glory. He has also created the club that I played music in that is amazingly beautiful and interesting. Stage and sound is good food is excellent prices are also very affordable. The big theater is probably one of the best places to see a live show in the Chicagoland area.
HAD A TERRIFIC TIME AT THE ARCADA..SAW RICK LINDY AND THE WILD ONES AND HAD A GREAT DINNER AND DRINKS WITH FANTASTIC FTOENDS!!
THANKS TO RON ONESTI AND SAM (VIP COORDINATOR) FOR OUR PERFECT EVENING!!!
Beautiful wedding at the Speak easy celebrating Joe and Debbie. And the 3 talented Elvis's!
Nostalgic Atmosphere and small enough venue that every seat is s good seat.
Great intimate music venue. Everyone from the ticket people to the ushers are so friendly and helpful. I recommend the balcony seats. Views are perfect from there!
We have taken in several great shows at the ArcadaTheater including Foghat/ Savoy Brown, Martin Barre 50th of Jethro Tull, Queensryche, and soon to see upcoming Eric Johnson show. We have taken in the wonderful Club Arcada Speakeasy also. The food was awesome. It's a must to take in before any show. The shows Ron Onesti brings in are incredible. It lets everyone enjoy our past music experiences and be able to see and meet all these great Musicians. The Arcada Theater is a Top Notch experience. We love it.
Wonderful concert venue--always great atmosphere and not a bad seat in the house.
Great 100 year old theater. Getting a million dollar renovation in 2020. Any seat on the main floor has fantastic views. Good restaurants walking distance and free public parking and prices for concerts that can't be beat.
