Old-style theater charm (which also includes tight seating) with a close-up view from any seat. Performances center on music icons. Relaxed vibe to witness musical history. Washroom situation a definite downer similar to many older venues

Beautiful theater, and my favorite place to see a concert! The staff is great and it is always a great experience there. Don't skip the speakeasy restaurant upstairs....the food and vibe are incredible!

Arcade Theatre is a small quaint place. Went to go see Artimus Pyle Ultimate Tribute to Ronnie Van Zant's Lynyrd Skynard. Was there on Fri. 10/20/2017. Artimus (drummer) was one of 3 survivor's from the Band, Lynyard Skyard that was in an airplane crash. The plane went down 40yrs. to the date that Artimus played at the Arcada Theatre. Fantastic show, emotional as well. After the show he sat on the stage and told the whole story of that fatal night. Just an fyi, Aerosmith were suppose to board the plane. They turned it down, they felt it looked unsafe! WOW!!! After the concert there was a surprise meet and greet. Awesome!
The Arcada Theatre is very old. Was suppose to be demolished, till the new owner started bring it back to life. Loved the size for a venue. Took some pic's to show how beautiful this old place is. The man that bought the Theatre made himself present the whole time we were there. I find that very hands on, which is great. I had full stats on the Arcada, which I seem to have misplaced. It was very interesting! If you get a chance to see a concert there, please do!

It's a great old theater that presents a variety of music performances across a wide spectrum of genres. We saw our favorite 1960s/70s artist, Burton Cummings, of the Guess Who last night in a one man show.

Great shows and sangrias! Excellent historic building where George Burns and Gracie Allen performed and a legacy of many others. Great for seeing local and legendary acts, as well as silent movies. I have sat in every section and the acoustics are great everywhere, but the front row balcony is probably the best for viewing. Don't worry, Buddy Guy comes up to the balcony too!

Came in with a fairly large group. The staff was really friendly, the food was good and the drink selections are awesome. Really enjoyed the musical entertainment (Lee Rocker) who got people up on their feet dancing. Club Arcada has a really cool vibe that we all enjoyed. We'd all go back again to see other performers

Amazing venue. The venue is amazing to look at itself but everyone who works there is professional and pleasant. The drinks are reasonably priced. If you have not experienced this venue, do yourself a favor, find a reason!

Big joke. Crowd drunk. Stood for entire concert. Handicapped access 6 rows back behind everyone standing. Security and owner admitted they could not control crowd. Owner had a fit when tapped on arm to get his attn, and screamed at this patron. We were relocated to the front side corner where view was occluded by....more idiots standing. No offer for refund, no apology just scream at the patron. Will NEVER return.

Had our first visit to this venue for a concert featuring The Grass Roots and Gary Puckett and the Union Gap on 3/8/2020. I would definitely visit this venue again as it's quite small (897 seats) and it didn't appear there was a bad seat in the house! We had an early dinner at the Arcada Club restaurant on the third floor of the building and just walked downstairs to our concert. Free parking in the local parking deck just a block away!! Couldn't ask for more!!!

Great concert venue thanks to owner & staff. In beautiful St. Charles, Ill. Ample parking and dining opportunities within walking distance. First time visiting the Arcada from Detroit. Thankyou for a memorable concert experience.

On May 26th we attended the "Peter Noone and Herman Hermits" at the beautiful Arcada Theatre. I did not appreciate having to sit thru 50 minutes of a warm up band that I found very annoying who preceded Peter Noone. They were way too loud for the age group attending the show. I wouldn't have attended the show if it had been advertised there would be a warm up band. We saw Peter Noone last year in Kansas City, Mo and he started right at 8 pm not 9 pm as in St. Charles, IL. with no other band.

Our seats were in the balcony and there were a number of patrons who were feeling their liquor. They were constantly getting up and disturbing other patrons and returning to their seats with drinks.

Probably my tenth time here today was to see the Little River Band. Tomorrow I shall return to watch Metal Church, and possibly come back in a couple weeks for the Winery Dogs. Ron takes personal care of his guests and greets everyone at the door. The venue is intimate, not any bad seats here. The bar has a decent selection of beers and spirits (not sure about wines). I will be back many more times!

Love! Love! Love Club Arcada! Located above the theatre. Looking for something different to do then checkout this place. When you enter you are greeted by bell hop that takes you through a secret passageway to the restaurant . The whole place is transformed into the prohibition days. From the flapper dresses to the decor you feel like you stepped off a time machine . Food, drinks and service are TOP NOTCH!! They also have great entertainment on the weekends so checkout the website for more info

Awesome venue to see a band or other performer, there truly is not a bad seat in the house. Arcada is a throwback to old school concert halls like Metro, but with way better sightlines and a super friendly staff. Ron, the owner/promoter hangs out in the lobby and greets people! You can tell this guy loves what he does, loves the music, and puts his heart into this place. Bookmark them to keep up on upcoming shows.

Just saw BJ Thomas there tonight. We were in the front row, had dinner upstairs prior and enjoyed the hour-long show, once it started, after an hour of warmup and a live commercial about another show in the speakeasy. Afterward, we waited half an hour for VIP meet and greet and were told nothing until we were herded in and out quickly to meet B.J. A quick photo was taken and we were given a website on which to buy it. The security guys were harried and the experience was embarassing. One scolded me for bringing out an album cover saying "Put that away! He's not signing anything and I don't want to see it." Ok, but I am 62 years old and had just spent $200 on the evening at one establishment. Does that deserve any respect?

We attended the Doo Wop concert on August 28, 2016 and were quite disappointed. We love the vocalization of Doo Wop but the music was so loud we often could not understand the words. The building smells heavily of mold, the rest rooms are disgusting with being in horrible disrepair and the floor in the women's rest room was covered with water. The screen had technical problems...
On the positive side, there is not a bad seat in the house and the theatre really is beautiful. It just needs repairs and a thorough cleaning.
We ended up leaving early as did a number of other guests.

We saw an EXCELLENT pre-Thanksgiving 2018 concert there - Echoes of Pompeii (Pink Floyd tribute). They were excellent and the theater s acoustics were amazing for the concert. Owner greeted everyone on stage...band hung out in the hall afterwards.
