Copthorne Grand Central Hotel, New Plymouth Review

It was central to the city, very clean, the food was good and. They had a lovely open fire!!!

Nice Hotel. Great customer service and clean tidy rooms.

While I have not stayed here, I found the receptionist (Jasmine) to be very rude in her answering of my queries. When she couldn't, she transfered the phone to the manager but with no voicemail option I gave up and phoned back.. the phone kept ringing with no answer until it circled back around to the selection menu. I selected the reception again and it was ringing with no answer until someone answered and immediately hung up (heard the ominous click).. once again, I phoned through and finally got through to the receptionist again and once again she was very rude and ended up hanging up mid conversation. If this is the level of service given for an inquiry, I'd hate to think what the LoS would be when staying there. Needless to say, I will never experience it now.

It is so convenient and close to TSB Showplace where I'm off to tonight to see Sol3mio.Very clean,tidy and has a room for single people.Good value for money to me anyway

Room was nice, restaurant was good, friendly staff, gym was good. Lift was very slow and it only has 3 floors to travel

Friendly, cheerful staff. Excellent accommodation. Easy to find location with reasonable parking. Located close to a great selection of bars, cafes and restaurants.

I have been refused a refund on my booking. The refund was request due to my flights being changed via the airline. And, I will not be in the country to attend the booking. The Hotel did not even respond to two emails send 2 weeks prior, requesting a refund and advising of the situation.
I will refuse to use this chain in future and make ensure otherwises are aware.

Generally good, very clean, friendly staff, fancy decor

Had three great nights there great service looked after us as we had bikes. Central to most places in town.

The people at reception were lovely, the room was spotless, the bed comfy, the spa bath was just what was needed after a cold weather day. Couldn't fault
