Was here in August 2016 and must say I was really sorry when we left. Several of the animals seemed to be fine. One of Europe's oldest zoos, but that doesn't mean you have to treat the animals in old-fashioned ways. Some of the animals seemed very stressed, like the polar bear swimming the same pattern over and over, there were actually marks on the window where it kicked off each time, the rest of the window was covered with greenery. Are fond of zoos as they can be a great way to learn about animals, both for children and adults, and several of them help preserve endangered animals, but not when it is like this park, it will only error.

It is a zoo in Copenhagen. What was better than other zoos was that I could see the animals playing a little freely. When I went, I was constructing a panda to bring in, but I'm not sure what happened now. When entering the zoo, it is divided into an area where you can see polar bears, elephants, and camels, and an area where you can see rhinoceros gazelle camels passing the underground passage called the African Zone.

A giraffe there named Marius was raised as a baby in the zoo. He was loved by the public. Yet, when he became an adult, he was killed. The zoo's staff shot him. They didn't think he would be useful. They had other male giraffes they could breed instead of Marius.

Really pleasant experience. Unlike Tivoli and other parks, Zoo does not try to make you spend all your money. It is constantly being renewed and built new, which unfortunately also gives some construction. Child friendly staff :)

So much close to the animals so many open beautiful imaginative enclosures .... After six hours and several ice coffee, we are then sheared! Great eventful afternoon and time for dinner with subsequent beach gear, bye.

Never seen so many of the more popular animals so clearly. Within an hour we had seen the polar bear and cub, leopard and cub, lioness and a Tiger and cubs. WOW. And the sparrows are pretty brazen too!

Nice and cosy Zoo where a lot of effort has been done to ensure that the animals are having a good life. The kids Zoo is very well thought out for the smaller children. A must if you like animals.

The zoo is nice and so, but at some points it seemed to have a bit of animal cruel, as the Polar Bear running back and forth desperate to get some fresh, and the grounds of tourists just looking at the animal seemingly desperate. (It was during the heatwave of 2018). A polar bear out of the Arctic or a very cold environment doesn't seem right
Monkeys out in a concrete environment, hiding of the sun and being locked out of a fresher area wasn't a good sight.

Nice zoo with pandas, giraffes etc. Admission in summer for adults at 100 DKK, otherwise at just under 200 DKK.

There are many options for a snack in between across the zoo. The best way to get to the zoo by public transport is by bus 7A, station is Zoologisk Have (Roskildevej).

Cozy!

Nice Zoo. But you can also see that it is worn out, in many places. And when we were in there (July, 2018), there was huge rebuilding for the Pandas. It made it a little harder to find your way around.

Hello my family and I was in and visit you we have always been happy to be here but why do I have to pay a mortgage for a cup of soda when I do not return the mortgage and why can I not use my zookort more it only pleases coffee What about us who are not drinking coffee why we can not get 30 percent on the reached second example greeting Louise

The variety of animals is pretty good at this zoo, you see many animals that aren't so usual in other zoo's (like penguins, rhino, hippo, elephants, giraffes, lot of different species of chimps and monkeys) - this variety is the reason for 3 stars. The place were totally 'under construction' when we visited (25.4.2018) and many paths were cut off and we need to go around, it was annoying to walk a lot to 'other side' around construction site to see only maybe one animal specie - the construction should be noticed on ticket prices OR at least told at the ticket sales that you're going to face a lot of constructing at the area.
