Copenhagen Zoo is always a treat. The animals are treated well and the petting zoo with accompanying playground and farm animals is an instant success with the kids. The new restaurants and street food stands lifts the options above the classic junk food. Try Panpan if time and budget allows. The food is great and there is a direct view of the panda enclosure

Note: >90% of the 1-star raters here are political activists opposed of zoo's in general (they only rate, don't write, and only has the single rating on Google). Actual objective rating of Copenhagen ZOO would be more like 4.5

The Copenhagen Zoo is always worth a visit. Right now they are rebuilding a lot so something is missing. Lion cubs were very cute. There were clean calves and elephant tongue too. Something always happens and the area is so big, so even when there are many visitors, you don't notice it as much.

Amazing and beautiful Zoo with a large amount of different animals.
Everything looks clean and the animals look healthy.

Visited during the winter months and watched the elephants being fed in their housing.

This is absolutely a place for the old and young. There's also a big selection of different places to eat, and definitely enough to enjoy for a few hours.

Excellent place to take the kids. Some negative comments from other reviewers have to be taken in context. This zoo used to be all cages and they are moving towards a better system. I'm impressed with what we saw and their future plans.

It s a great place to spend a day with your kids. They really built it fit for kids- with play grounds and interactive activities with feeding/playing with the animals etc. when we visited there was sand sculpture show as well.

Super good day in the zoo with a million other people who could feel that there were queues in many places and you couldn't really see the animals but then we know it for another time

Very nice, and very large ... many recreational spots for the little ones and many varieties of animals ... 2 sore notes ...
1. Few dining options for the size of the zoo (but it was a Monday and it was really uncrowded)
2. The work prevented some routes and had to do very long tours ... but the problem should be solved quickly ...

Incredibly dirty and worn, but the animals that could be seen behind the piglet, fortunately looked good. The visit itself is incredibly expensive and disappointing. I did not come to the Arctic department to see 400 different kinds of algae

A great place to visit with both children and without. The polar bear is an obvious pearl of the zoo. It is also worthwhile to climb for 10 kroons to the tower of the zoo: from there you can see an excellent view of the zoo, as well as the center of Copenhagen. 15 minutes by bus 6A from the central station in Vesterbro

Good zoo, was especially pleased with the brown bears which you don't see everywhere. Still have reservations about the lack of space for certain animals. The polar bear did a lot of pacing. Wholeheartedly support breeding programmes when species are endangered but do question it otherwise. Any way, as far as zoos go, not too bad.

Worn and dirty.

Worn and dirty.
Horrible prices for food and water.

We got to the zoo right on Easter, Sunday + was a day off. That is, you imagine that there were a lot of people and children in particular. So, a nice walk in the nearby park. And really nearby, since the zoo is already on a hill. From that very park its designation is already visible: ZOO. Inside: what especially sets it apart from other zoos is the many different departments with different climates and corresponding continents. there are tropics in the center, the air is really heavy and very humid. In the north there is a pole with bears and penguins, and in the south, Africa and Asia with their deserts, zebras, giraffes, etc., in general safari. We left the safari for later, and we ran tired and fast. Without much interest and impression, because in the center of the country where we live there is a huge safari with its attractions. Another thing I liked was the form of enclosure of enclosures and cages. A very low fence, so that even the smallest can look at animals, there are no cages and trellises! But as? It's just that the territory where the pet is located is fenced by a deep ravine. That creates a sense of visual proximity of the animal, but he will not be able to get to you. The territory of the entire zoo itself is not very large, so everything is very compact. The time you need: about three hours. Minus: in April there were reconstructions in the panda aviary. We did not see them, well, plus and discomfort due to fences and excavations.

Even visiting during the winter season it was a blast. A few parts of the zoo were under construction, but most of the exhibits were still operational. They have the park divided up really well in case you only want to see certain animals based on type of typical geographical locations. There's an interactive petting zoo for all ages - highly recommend visiting that. I'm not sure if there's availability during certain months, but there were no piglets. If visiting the city and a fan of zoos, I think this is a great option. On face value it appears they take great care of their animals.

The zoo quite well facilitated and is one of the main attractions of the city. One would find almost all the animals. Special attraction includes polar bear, Kangaroo, giraffe and tiger. It was most spectacular to see polar bear swimming underwater. Entry ticket is very reasonably prices. One may access Copenhagen zoo for free with a Copenhagen pass.

It s an awesome place for kids to have fun and learn about animals along.

Copenhagen Zoo is smaller in size, spread out in 2 wings across the road. Exotic animals not to be seen in Asian zoos, are Polar Bear,Penguins. Also Malaya Tapiirs are big but cute, docile four legged creatures. A small aviary also have variety of birds.

It's enough to look at for an afternoon. But some of the enclosures were too small. Maybe one could have cut down on the number of eateries - there were quite a few! Then there was more room for the animals.

Was in KBH Zoo for the first time, with my family.
The prices are what they are ... But my daughter got a really good experience out of it. Everything from small animals to elephants.
There is also a small area with a playground .. But stop it, there are many people on that playground.
