Can t get ahold of anyone. Keep getting tranferred...

Can t get ahold of anyone. Keep getting tranferred to voicemails and no one calls back. Just started a new loan with them and cant even make a payment. If this does not change asap I will find some one else to take over the loan. This is totally unacceptable.

Some advise using this establishment re: Auto loans, I am in Financing for Auto loans, I do this for a living. The absolute worst case scenarios will happen with them. My wife is risking 30 day late on her perfect credit, because we set up an auto payment, sent in the form 3 times, and got the first payment taken out, but not the following. When we called in they had no answer as to why. It feels like they don't have the adequate communication policies, competent employees, and proper follow up system to ensure they are fulfilling their obligations as a financial institution. I would suggest if you are looking for Auto Loans to run away.

Horrible service. Good luck trying to get a hold of anybody that knows anything or cares. I've been there for years, have several accounts there and I'm finally getting out. They act like they've got better things to do than help the customer. It's the Berkeley Whole Foods of credit unions. Over the years I have never dealt with a friendly teller there. If you need help with a problem you can't reach them by phone; you have to wait for someone to get around to calling you back, which can take days. I am switching to another credit union, have had it with them.

I just edited my star rating. I'm still using the credit union and for the last 4 years it's been much better. Easier to reach folks, I got in a direct line of some and they are very helpful. Your web services have gotten easier, The ATM works well. My review from 3 years ago is below. But they have quite improved. Thank you!

3 want years ago:t support this bank because they are a local credit union and have really friendly employees. However, it's nearly impossible to get a call back from them, they don't follow up when they say they will, and when I traveled to the Philippines a year ago, my ATM card didn't work there and it took me 5 DAYS to reach the bank to get it sorted out (I had been calling all the lines I could find, and emailing every address I could find). It was finally an IT guy that got back to me and managed to connect me with a banker that could help. Just in the last couple of weeks, I deposited plenty of money which looked available in my account when I wrote three billpay outgoing checks through their website. The bank charged me three separate $28 dollar fees for using the money before it had cleared. When I went in to ask if they could refund at least some of their charges, they said no. I submitted a paper regarding the case to see if someone else could help me and was assured that they would get back to me at the beginning of last week. -Still no response.

Why is it so hard to reach you guys, i been trying to fix my direct pay for 3 months, everytime i call i get transfer to some extension that nobody is answering. Now payment is due again and cant reach to nobody who can fix it!!!

Worst service ever. The manager does not properly know how to manage her employees. She let all of our employees but to go to lunch in the middle of a work week 2:30 PM on Wednesday there's only two people inside that are working. She is not helping anyone she's not behind the booth being a teller or at a desk helping customer no she is just walking in circles. I wasted a whole 30 lunch break waiting in line in the same spot I never moved once in 30 minutes. When her employees came back inside she didn't ask them to come back from lunch early to help the line there is over 20 people in line .

Barely acceptable. They have only one ATM (finally a new one). The old one never dispensed envelopes, and was sometimes broken or out of cash. The parking lot is often full, especially when the St. Paul African American Episcopal Church across the street has a service. Electronic banking would only work with Internet Explorer for many months. The banking staff really tries to be helpful, and the wait time is much less than in some of the larger banks such as Chase or BofA.

Came in to.deposit a check for a friend . A guy with a ponytail helped me. Mind you, this person had helped me in the past and I was hesitant, but did not want to wait longer than neccessary. Sinced the amount was larger than normal, I was told it would be a 5 day hold on it. Totally fine. I said I was not on it but gave my friend's name and said i know the routine deposit requirements. The fella pretty was annoyed and gave me a smug comment. Oh excuse me for inquiring a valid question. I was pretty much tossed the receipt when asked for one. This branch needs to treat people of color with dignity and respect. Im going to take future business to patelco and will recommend all my friends to go elsewhere.

I was a member for nearly 10 years. I had everything there--my checking, savings, credit card, auto loan, a joint account with my partner. This credit union has always been way behind technologically. And customer service has always required A LOT of followup. I kind of just dealt because it was a small credit union and seemed like a better option than a corporate bank. But they did an "upgrade" of their core system in August 2018 that made the website experience even more difficult. Their campaign to notify members of this major update consisted of a direct mail flyer mailed during voting season and one email that was literally a PDF attachment of that same flyer. On top of the poor communication, there were huge glitches, like losing transactions off of the register, creating duplicate accounts, and no longer synching with Mint. When I shared these inconveniences, I got nothing but defensiveness from member services. So I switched to Patelco, which is way better on every front--rates, tech, customer service.

Hey, like thanks for having a cool operation and helping with what i needed but it's gonna be an adjustment to not have Saturday open hours 'cause I still have a job and it's not so easy for me to go in to the branch on weekdays. Fine location near Ashby BART station.

i "bank" in berkeley even though i have lived in san francisco for years. why? because i am a memeber of CCFCU in berkeley and have been for even longer than i have lived in sf. they have helped with two car loans as well as the day to day mobile transactions. besides i might live in the east bay again one day.

Really nice, over-worked people. They try hard.

But they don't answer their phones, they deleted my transaction history for no good reason, and their website sucks. I wanted to use a Credit Union for my banking, but this has been wretched.
