The service department sucks the parts department don't know what the hell they're talking about I went in there disabled and had one of their mechanics Larry that don't know s*** try to charge me up very unprofessional this would be the second time that gave me the wrong part and I had to make it work
I was having problems getting time to get my oil change done. I tried to do it on the app one day and no one ever called me back. So eventually I just called down there and scheduled the oil change. They also were some minor things like my brakes were making a grinding noise when I backed up which no one ever said whether or not there was any problem, however it was on the invoice sheet there, they replaced a recall part for the camera. However, the recall on the auto start stop was not referred to on the invoice sheet so I did not know if they did it or not. I will call tomorrow to find out. I was just glad to get my car back. Also something was reset on my panel so I have to look it up in the book to find out why the panel changed. Are usually like the digital speedometer and for some reason it looks different. My steering wheel was adjusted and it s not locking in now. I will go out tomorrow and check it. Maybe also look up in the manual. I guess I should ve gone back in and asked for someone but they were somebody trying to get in the parking space where they had brought my car up to so I just got in the car and came home. I will take care of these things tomorrow.

I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!! They are terrible at their jobs, I purchased a vehicle from here and it got totaled so we sent in all the paperwork and cancellation forms that were needed. We have emailed and called multiple times and they never respond. Then when they do decide to answer they are rude and say they will get back to you yet they never do. So I haven t had the vehicle for 3 months and we are still waiting for it to get done and if the dealership continues to not do their job I m going to have to make payment on the vehicle I haven t had in over 3 months. This was a terrible experience and a terrible dealership if you can go anywhere else I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I didn't get surprised by the all too frequent sales tactics of "you don't qualify for this and that discount, so here is your real price." Thank you Tony, Diana, and Traci for the great experience. Edit: Although the sales team was great, until I am buying another truck, I will be interacting with the service department. I have had to do so a couple times already and I am more than impressed. The professionalism is top notch. David, the service manager is genuine. Stacy, the service advisor takes extreme ownership in seeing that I was satisfied. Tawny, was warm and kind and very professional. I will continue to drive past other locations in order to use this one. Don t know what to say... I wait 1 and half hours until they finally drive my truck in and perform an oil change and it only took them 20 minutes to complete an oil change and multiple point inspection. I m not car expert but I think they did rush job on my truck. Correct me if I m wrong but I don t know if I wanna come back or not

Before I stopped by Cook Ford, I went to a couple other car dealers in the greater Houston area to try and find a good truck to buy. What a waste of time this was, I should've gone to Cook to begin with. The staff and sales were amazing and they sold me a good truck at a fair price. This dealer has certainly earned my business and respect. They won't try and cheat you and like I said, the staff makes you feel welcomed. I would suggest this dealership to anyone looking to buy a good valued new or used vehicle.
Bought a used truck and it's been in the shop 5 times already. We don't think that the service department did a good over all inspection of the vehicle before putting on the lot for sale. Service manager spent a lot of time talking with us and assured us that they do an inspection of the vehicle, but it would appear they didn't. They would have noticed some of the things that were at the breaking point on this vehicle if they had. Not pleased with that aspect at all. Finance and sales were very nice to deal with.
They were really easy to deal with. We did the deal over the phone as we were in a different state. They made the process smooth and delivered the truck to us.
Tommy was working with us and it was the worst experience Ive ever had when trying to buy a car. He was rude and didn t respect my husband and I. Try to scam us. Was upset because we didn t want to buy a truck with them. I highly recommend not going there. Would try to make him sign paperwork without telling us what for and try to pull our credit without our permission. Just a joke overall.

I went in to get a car, I had 2k for down payment, they guy that I worked with was not helpful at all. Took all my information and did say anything to me, then ran me off and told me that he was going to call me when they hear from the bank, the guy never called me back, but texted me a day late. Like really couldn t even call me. I guess they didn t want my money or even try to work with me. I felt they ran me off too because I had my two kids with me . So unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If I could I wouldn t even put a start.
Dealership is very easy to find and their customer service is excellent. The sales person was very helpful and explained the whole process and also explained the features on the vehicle and explained how to use them. Finance department explained the paperwork and made it easy and fast.
They had the best pricing in our area posted online. There was no surprises when we got there to buy the truck. They were easy to deal with got us in and out quick. Of course we love the F-150 we purchased.
We bought a new vehicle nearly two years ago and the window tint on the passenger side has bubbles in it. Once I get there I'm told that the dealership isn't responsible because they didn't put the tint on. It was on the there when we got it. I go to the service department to get my vehicle serviced and the mechanic didn't return my seat to where it was when I brought it in. The speedometer wasn't set up. At least you can do is set it up completely. This was the first time to visit the place after our purchase.

As a person who has purchased almost 20 vehicles from Cook(previously Gene Hamon) Ford since 1986, I have gone back time after time for two reasons, price and service. Also, I am not the easiest person to deal with when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. The reason previous posters walk away disatisfied with Cook is because they are expecting big city "fluff." If you want hot dogs and balloons, go to to Houston. If you want the right car at a great price from a dealership who will do what they say, go to Cook Ford. Ask for Lisa R., and she will do everything to put you in a new Ford.

Gave us false hope about getting the car we wanted within our monthly payment range. Came back to sign the paperwork and they tried tacking on $10,000 worth of extra bs and tried doubling my payments. Will not be back. Ever. Funny how they seem real genuine at first and then just turn around to try and screw you. Walked right out the door and will not be back.

Cook Ford has amazing customer service. From my first contact, to the twenty plus texts and calls over a two-day period, they honored every request I made. I arrived at the dealership an hour before closing, expecting to have just enough time to test drive the 2020 Ranger and 2020 Escape. I was surprised when the staff stayed late to complete my purchase. These people made me feel like family. This was my second purchase from them, and it will not be the last. The Escape is a dream. I had no idea that I would choose it over a Ranger, but I fell in love with it instantly. The leather interior is impressive, as is the exterior design. It looks a little like a Porsche from the front, and with five drive modes, it handles like a sports car. The seats and steering wheel are heated, and the seats have so many settings it s a perfect fit. This car is the most comfortable, fuel efficient, and well-equipped vehicle I have ever driven. I cannot believe I got all of these features at such an excellent price. Cook Ford will be my dealer of choice for all future purchases, no matter where I live. They are worth the drive.

I have a 2004 Mustang GT on its 2nd alternator from O'Reilly, and it went out within 3 months. Took the car to John at Cook Ford in Texas City. John knew right away the issue involved and I had my car back in record time. Runs like a champ, especially for being over 13 years old. Avoid McRee at all costs. And even though Ron Carter is competent, Cook has them all beat on price, turn around time, quality service, and friendliness! Thanks John to you and you whole team! Customer for life!
My 2017 Super Duty split the intercooler hose and put the truck into limp mode while trying to evacuate from hurricane Laura. Called around to multiple Ford Dealerships in the area and none of them had the part. Cook Ford had the part and David Delisio took excellent care of us. I drove the truck down to the dealership and he had me in and out in under an hour. I will certainly use them for service in the future. Thanks again Dave!!
I walked in on a Monday night at 6:30 p.m. found a car on their website, test drove it, my salesman was Tony Evans - really nice guy, not pushy at all. I made my offer to a gentleman named Bryan in finance he accepted my offer, good guy. I went to Traci Hendricks in finance, awesome lady. Paid for my vehicle and by 8:15 p.m. I was done and drove home. I wanted to update my review, my original purchase was in March of 2019 it is now the end of September 2019 and I made a second purchase at the dealership. I can't say enough good things about this place ! If you're looking for a Ford do not even bother going to any other dealership except Cook Ford this place is amazing !!! they have a great selection, they have the best prices in all of Texas if not the USA and if you're not looking for a Ford they have other cars in their pre-owned section like Chevys Mercedes Dodge you'll have to check out their website because their prices cannot be beat and every salesperson there is awesome this time I dealt with a gentleman named Tim he was wonderful and I can't say enough again about Bryan in finance he is such a nice man and very fair you come at them with a fair deal they don't nickel-and-dime you they actually just say yeah or no I love this place this is my dealership for life I will buy every car I ever get from this dealership and I highly recommend it if you're shopping around definitely look here first because this is your first and last stop there's no need to go anywhere else Cook Ford's got it 100%.
