Lovely camp with a terrible CGM policy. Lots of great activities. Great for children with type one diabetes to be around others like themselves. But the situation with CGMs is unacceptable. Dangerous actually. We won't go back unless they change it. Quite a few communication breakdowns as well.

Camp Nejeda was the best 14 years of my life, and I've lived for 50 years now! Not only is the camp beautiful and peaceful, but the most wonderful people in the world go there. It is a place to learn about diabetes, but also to feel so protected and loved by the 100 other diabetic youth there. Friendships for life are forged, and the fun is out of this world!

My son started attending Camp Nejeda 8 years ago as a newly diagnosed type 1. He has been back every summer since and it has been a warm, nurturing place for him to become part of the Nejeda family. Great organization with great, dedicated people making the lives of the kids that attend better.

I started coming to this camp 10 years ago, I have met all of my best friends and learned so much about diabetes. I really felt alone in my life because I thought I was the only one in the world with diabetes. There are so many different programs held at this camp! Such as Family camp, BFF weekend, & The Walkathon! I am grateful to have found this camp!
