Continental Management is the worst job I ever had in my life if you don't mind working for a company that treats you left then and only hires you for diversity purposes to keep their tax credits low pay wages disrespectful management to employees 4 pennies because they're only pay you minimum wage

Discrimination, Bullying and Abuse are their company tools. BEWARE of any complex managed by them because you will end up filing a complaint with hud for one reason or another one. This company takes stable complexes and guts them.
Regarding Norman Towers in Monroe, MI for handicap, low income and fixed income residents. The construction company, who received state tax cuts and funding from MSHDA to updating Norman Towers has just told several people they must leave their new apts for 8 days to have the windows replaced. One of the tenants has MD a needs their lift to function. The lift costs $400 every time it needs to be moved. The other residents that are being sent to a motel are in fact being sent to America's Best, also known as Monroe's Heroin hub. And yes, the manager (Andrew) has been told by several people how dangerous this place is. The management company seems to care less for the residents and is more concerned with the amount of money they will make for low income residents who receive assistance with rent. Several residents have complained to me about the managements lackadaisical attitude towards to people who live there. Continental Management doesn't actually care about the tenants, they only care about $$$. There is a lot of state kickbacks for management companies who manage low income or fixed income properties. The only ray of sunshine is an assistant manager named Rhonda, who tries to do whatever she can, usually to no avail because of the management company she works for and her direct manager Andrew. I am taking all my concerns to our local city council, including but not limited to, the cost of construction to residents and new floors pulling up and bowing, plus other concerns.
This is not regarding the whole company. However the Manager of McDonald's Square Townhomes Ebenezer is beyond rude, and is not a business man. He has treated me like less than a adult and not even human. He is withholding my utility checks from me unlawfully. Those checks are mine and not for him to decide if and when he will release. My lease is not up till july 2020 . So therefore my checks are not up for his digression. He is a horrible person and has no type of personality or professional demeanor.
I live at one of their properties. This company's management refused to answer my questions regarding a lease renewal energy agreement they were requiring me to sign, and then tried to illegally evict me under "at will tenant" laws (they're a tax credit property), then backpedaled and then claimed falsely that I refused to sign the notice, which I had to fight with an attorney. They are absolutely deplorable, corrupt and incompetent, from their property managers all the way up their legal counsel. WATCH OUT!
This company employs racists. I have family and friends that live at Auburn West and the two women that run the place RaeAnn and Pam are always rude and nasty to people that live there, as if these people are a lower class. They also severely mistreated the one lady that was always kind to us. I reached out to her after she suddenly disappeared. I found out that they just stopped giving her a schedule, wouldn't return her calls, wouldn't communicate with her, almost a month later they sent her an e-mail to tell her she was fired. She also rents a home from another property they manage and they changed her rent and never told her so she paid every month, then gets served court papers saying she has a balance of over $1,000. So they fired her, now are trying to take her home away after taking away her income.
Regional manager. Lona Council was rude & wasn't reasonable when I asked could they give me some time to cloth myself because I was in the shower getting ready for work. She said "NO! I'M COMING IN NOW!" I closed the door. . I just said I'm not dressed & while I was showering they opened my door anyway! Just rude! Are you telling me 10-15 mins was asking for too much? Would she would've act / spoke that way if her supervisor was present?
I've lived at Rossavelt Park Lofts for 4 years and I'm disabled and I have a service dog and my upstairs neabor has threaten me and my dog. I got eviction papers they said my dog barks too much and he's doing his job,but when I told them I was being pick on and herrassed by them nothing they won't even let me hear the recording of my dog I've never had a compaint until now. And I have police reports to back me up smh
Manger out in Camelot hills apartments VERY VERY NOSY they have people spy on you and they know all your business and I have people that can vouch for me
I have been a resident through continental since 2015....the place of residence was in pontiac located at their beacon square town homes site. I have had such a hard time contacting anyone in management, myself along with multiple resident's have been wrongfully taking to court for faulty mishaps that the management would normally be responsible for...I honestly would have had a eviction on my record if it had not been for God being on my side in this situation....unprofessional management team!
terrible management. I was over charged multiple times. The leasing office did nothing about the aggressive dog in my apartment that bite over 4 people. I put in multiple police reports. My room was broken into multiple times. Over a period of time i was not at my apartment the maintenance workers came in to do border on the walls and left my front door unlocked for weeks btw. I am now missing multiple items and belongings.
I lived at one of their properties, Fountain West, for over a year, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The building seems nice enough but soon after I moved in it was clear why it was so cheap, the buildings were cobbled together and falling apart, and the parking lot was always strewn with garbage, liquor bottles and drugs. I was even witnessed a maintenance guy kick trash across the lot and into the grass and just leave it there (the maintenance guy also told me the building had been condemned). In addition to the horrible state of the property the building always smelt of weed and there was constantly domestic disputes and a police presence. Complaints to management went unresolved. Speaking of management, they are some of the most unprofessional and hateful individuals I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After attempting to raise my rent for a second time in 3 months I decided to leave, it wasn't worth the first increase and I definitely wasn't going to pay another hundred dollars, they were very rude and tried to make me pay penalties for not giving 30 days notice, when they only gave me a weeks notice of the rent increase. When I did move out they tried to withhold half of my deposit for a bogus reason, and when I tried to talk to them they got nasty and said they didn't care if it was a bogus reason I put them in a tough spot moving out early and I could, and I quote, "have fun trying to get my money back in court."
They have just purchased my apartment complex and I still have no idea how to pay my rent to them, sent a letter but with no follow up on how they want the rent paid. Old management had an easy access online portal this one has nothing... Confused tried to contact and no answer.
(To the person that said Lona was rude) Not true, Yes, I understand she DON'T PLAY! She's just doing her jobjob, she's not here to be any of the residents friends. I lived AND live at two of there properties and the ones I've seen and live/lived in are really nice. The managers at each site (Sarah, Tyeisha & Angel ) are very nice and understanding and cool as a fan!
