We close this week !!!! IF you are having second thoughts let me tell you we had a great experience I checked with local morgage CO. But I so glad we went with consumer real estate they keep us in loop every day by email and phone!!

...I have to say the reason I went with consumer real estate is they have awesome reviews on BBB . I live in central KY and we went into contract a month ago and we are fixing to close all we are waiting on is few minor repairs!! Tyler Sutton with consumer real estate has been awesome!! We are first time home buyers and knew nothing about buying so we have had lot of questions!! he has stayed in touch with me by email or phone and I have called him or email with questions and he always responds!! And calls just to see how things are going. And I have email on my phone as most of you do and I get emails everyday on what being done they even tag me in emails that have to do with anything on loan, title company ,appraisal, exct. The closing date on contract is 3/18/16 and the last email I received 2/24/16 was the title company had sent in all documents so I'm confident we will be in home by or before 3/18 I will post soon as we are in home!!!!!

Appreciated the daily emails advising the process of the loan for the purchaser of the home we were selling. Gwynne Young, Wanda Cullen, Jack Graves were very helpful and courteous!

3 month process and at the end they were going back and forth arguing with the underwritter. Told them I'm switching to a new lender, they didn't try keeping me as a client or apologizing. The new lender is completely on top of things, 3 week process!! Closing next week. Very disappointed in Consumer Real Estate as a first time home buyer, wasted 3 months of my time.

I wanted to say that the loan officer ,Tyler Smith, has been working on our loan. He listened to our specific situation and answered every question. When we called and left a message, he immediately returned our calls. When we were going through the stressful expectancy and doubts, he never said anything negative, instead he gave us hope that everything was going to be ok. We don't know much about mortgages, but we do recognize great service when we receive it, and yesterday we received our approval on our loan in less than two weeks. These guys worked very hard to get us into our dream house! Our beginning communications with Andrew Stefanilo went smoothly and he was very informative. When we were switched to Benjamin Bangs to get the process finished, we were put into fantastic hands. He did a great job keeping everyone informed with updates and had all the information to any question I asked! Catherine Gustafson was a fantastic closer. She got everything wrapped up quickly! Although there were some delays and we missed our initial closing date, it was due to the appraisal company taking their time and not the lender.

These people suck with a capital S. I am selling a home and the people buying it are using this bank. We've been waiting to close for almost 3 months because their loan officers aren't doing their jobs or communicating anything to the buyer. I've been waiting 3 days for one person to sign off on the loan so we can close. Every single day we're told that they just need one more day... I'm still waiting. They're about to mess up two house buying experiences at once. Unless you have 6 months to buy a house, don't bother with these fools.

Tyler Sutton is extremely knowledgeable with the USDA loan process and will go out of his way to ensure your loan is prepared for underwriting. He responds very quickly and is almost always available. Would recommend anyone to use him during their home buying process.

A NIGHTMARE! Our offer on a HUD house was accepted and we were given 60 days to close. This company is such a joke. It looks from their website pictures they hire kids right out of college with no experience. I can't tell you how irresponsible, unprofessional and catty these people were. They were EXTREMELY SLOW with every part of the process. We were shuffled around between 6 people. Emails everywhere, confusion on their part and complete disorganization. They charged us $650 DOLLARS for the appraisal and wanted an ADDITIONAL $200 for the completion report. After 60 days and the closing date pasted we started having to pay $375 every two weeks for extensions!! They would ask for REDICULOUS things like garage sale receipts, the sales contract, title, and proof of registration for an RV we sold 3 months prior, "teller stamped" proof of a bank account we opened 3 months prior stating it was opened even though we had the the paperwork the bank gave us and bank statements. They had our employer revise the proof of employment statement 3 times, title company paperwork 3 times, appraisal 2 times and contractor bid 5 times! We almost lost our contractor! Ben Criesher stated in an email that I still have that he wished "Ben Carson was a smarter man" referring to the head of HUD and we were buying a house from HUD! He was obviously POLITICALLY BIAS and never planned on closing this deal. After that I checked his public Facebook profile which every photo of him was him partying and drinking alcohol, even while driving! Glad I have them all screenshot since he took them down after I said to him that is not the type of guy I want to help me make the most important decision of my life!
I fired Consumer Real estate Finance after over 100 DAYS IN ESCROW and no end in site! I switch to Robert Klatt at FIRST CHOICE LENDING and he got the deal closed in 30 days with no problems! GO WITH FIRST CHOICE LENDING, save yourself the waste of time!

CREFCO has made my first time home buying experience as stress free as is possible! I had no idea where to start and they walked me through every step! David, Kristie, and so many others at CREFCO made obtaining our first mortgage ever as easy as possible. Please keep in mind that this is an involved process and will take some work. When dealing with them please keep in mind the following.

They will ask for a lot of information. Get it to them as quickly as possible to keep things moving.

Sometimes the information you provide in some cases may seem adequate at first but when the 2nd set of eyes checks it they find further information is needed. Just get it to them because their goal is once your file gets to underwriting it passes without major conditions. (ours did!!!)

I went into this expecting it to take about 30 to 60 days and that is about what it took.

They helped me find a local realtor that was familiar with their inspection and appraisal guidelines (thanks Nan with Tucker)

I hope anyone looking to buy a house would consider using CREFCO because I am glad I did.

This company was a nightmare to work with. As a realtor that has been in the business for over 5 years I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company. We were supposed to close on September 16th and did not close until October 30th and had zero communication or reason why we were delayed for 6 weeks. I was extremely disappointed and the only reason this entire sale went through is because the seller and buyer were patient and just sat and waited even though they had no idea what was going on. No response from the lender when we would check in besides "Underwriting has it" for 6 weeks!
Please look elsewhere for a loan company so you can actually close!

I highly recommend Sam Miraglia. Even though there were some difficulties in my situation he helped me through. The first loan auditor apparently lost his job and my file was locked up. Sam got me connected with another auditor by the name of Chris Brown. Both of these guys have been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, professional and done everything they could to get my loan finished. Unfortunately I was talked into going with a different lender in the middle of my home buying process. I came back to CREFCO and Sam and he was very understanding and accepted me. He went above and beyond to get the loan pushed through. The loan was cleared to close but, unfortunately we missed out on the house by one day.
We have another home we are trying to get and I'm glad that I have Sam and Chris helping get my family in a home.
IvI' told both of them I'd gladly come visit and buy them a beer any day.

I had a horrible experience!! I was told everything was good to go despite my concern from the very beginning about my income and the way I m paid. After 45 days of sending in documents over and over again And paying for an inspection, appraisal, and earnest money check they told me it wasn t going to work because of the way my income was showing up when they verified it with the 800 number. They waited almost 40 days to do the income verification when it was one of the first documents I sent in. If it was done at the beginning instead of the last thing (especially since I brought up the concern)I wouldn t of wasted my time and money with them. Also my loan officer quit communicating with me and just left me in the dark because he apparently didn t want to deal with his now upset and frustrated potential customer. I now will be going with a VA loan through a local bank. I learned my lesson and all I can say is don t waste your time with this company they don t care enough to help you or figure out a solution.

I origionally signed up for a USDA loan. I later on found a home I fell in love with. The home I wanted was not in a USDA approved area. I asked Taylor Franzi (my lender) if there was any way I could switch the loan to an FHA so that I could buy the home. She said yes and switched it right then and there. Gave me new numbers and info the next day. She helped me take care of everything in a timely manner and was very personable. I would gladly use Consumer Real Estate Finance in the future and I recomend them to anyone who wants to get things done quickly!

This company is a con artist i uplied for a FHA loan went through all the paper work and $605 for the inspection $585 for apraisal and $ 2500 then they wouldnt answer thetr phone then called me befor closing and said i newded a credit card to go thtough

I applied for a loan and was told I would hear back within 24-48 hrs either way. It's been almost 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. I have called daily leaving messages and sent emails, none of my calls or emails were returned. This is a very unprofessional company. I rescinded my application for a loan after reviewing them on Better Business Bureau and seeing all the negative complaints on there also.

My experience has been really good so far, we aren't completely done with the process yet but hope to be in the next 2 1/2 weeks. It seemed like it flashed by considering most people I've read about with a USDA loan takes 6+ months! Our loan coordinator Elijah Grady has been really helpful with bringing up my credit score and thorough so the process wouldn't be slowed down, even in the wake of hurricane Matthew he was hard at work! I'm very glad I was able to work with these people, to buy my very first house! So far CREFCO has done me very well, I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I am a first time home buyer, and due to life getting in the way thought I would never be able to own my own home. I looked into several options, due to not being able to do a conventional down payment. I came accross the USDA pogram of no money down. Through the contact and simple documentation verification they were able to help me out. They even put me in touch with a local realtor that knoew the ins and outs of the program to help me find a home. The process may be a little longer since it is no money down, but in the end you get great service, a great valued home, and an afffordable mortgage. Run from this lender and their underwriters... It took them over 2 months to let me know I was not going to be financed, after I had put down earnest money, paid for home inspection and for home appraisal. They dragged this out and delayed it as much as they could even after I gave them everything they asked for and wrote letters to explain it all.. I lost money due to their inability to know what they are doing and not doing their part on time... PLEASE heed my warning, run from this lender!

We worked with Ben. When we purchased our house we ran into a few snags along the way during the loan process. Ben helped us walk through each step and get over the hurdles. Very positive experience purchasing my new home. Very responsive to requests and questions about the process. The only issues we ran into was simple ones. For example having the dates on my wife's statement of no income written in pen or that the homeowners insurance needs to be in my name only. They are very helpful and keep you involved through the whole process. They were not always easy to catch by phone but followed up timely with a voicemail or email.

Currently dealing with this company and they failed to discover a federal tax lien for a buyer of one of my properties as we are 2 days from our original settlement date. Slow to offer answers. Pretty sure the title company has had this lien information for you on your client and you are just now looking. My seller is a 77 year old man packing up a 3,000 sq ft home to move from PA to FL on Friday (8/14/20). I certainly hope you have recalculated the dti ratio and it works and that USDA approves this....I mean, allegedly the buyer has been paying on this for a long time.... What you make and what you owe should be the first questions a lo asks and the consumer should answer that question on their loan application.

Ben and his team was very helpful...he treated me like family to help me get my house..I would highly recommend working with Ben and his team..Ben went way out of his way to help..You won't find better people to work with ..I don't know what others say, but I couldn't see how anyone could say anything bad about Ben,Jeff and the rest of the team..They are TOP NOTCH!!!!

I had the pleasure with working with a few employees as CREFCO throughout my home buying experience. John Harnish was awesome and always there if I had any questions. He made sure to check in with me daily to see if he could assist me further. Dan Poskocil was very timely and helpful. Once we had the initial approval from the underwriter, Beth Carlin became my main point of contact. She was very accessible and able to answer all my questions to ensure we got the additions documents to the underwriter in a timely manner. Catherine Gustafson helped close my loan. We were in a time crunch and she did a great job ensuring we closed as soon as possible. Overall I had a great experience with CREFCO

I can't even begin to explain how awful this company is. It takes forever to get anything approved. Two days from closing and they are telling me I needed to already pull money out of my 401k for closing. I was never told to do so. I was waiting on them to send me a good faith estimate on how much I needed to pull out of my 401k. And I get a call 2 days from when I was originally supposed to close saying I need another bank statement showing I have the funds in my checking account for closing. I asked the wonderful phone call dodging Beth Carlin when I was told to pull the money and she stated that she told me in email when to pull it. I asked her to forward me that email. She didn't. She couldn't. Turned in a 60 day notice at my apartment so I wouldn't have to pay out my full lease, which ms Carlin knew about. So if it doesn't close by the 25th of April me and my kids will be homeless. This company doesn't care. They are awful. There quality control takes three days to look at an approve anything. And they won't find all the mistakes in something the first time. Once they find something wrong they want that one thing fixed then review the rest of it. Worst company ever! 60 days in and no approval! Update: Finally closed on the 5th of May! Homeless for 10 days. Closing paperwork didn't get received by me or title company till 9:54 am the day of close. With a scheduled closing time of 10 am. Found out from seller that someone named David at this company gave out my loan status info to the seller without authorization. Going to see how to report this to FHA.

Kept me up to date every day on the progress of the transaction, and they actually answered the phones if I called. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great company to get a loan.
