Really fun place to be at on a weekend and even more so for those that are traveling to San Diego.

The pianists are very talented and the young asian musician rocks! These guys circle around their stage to play 2 or 3 different instruments in one set. Not all the time but from time to time.

The interior decor is probably what I'm not too impressed with. And when it is really busy the bar counter top tends to get a little sticky but that's from the crowd spilling drinks all the time lol. Not really their fault.

Overall this place is a must if you're not a local. Don't miss this place if you're visiting town. If you're a local you'll probably like it the first few times. Then you may get used to some of the songs.

What else can i say about this cool spot? Some of the music is mixed in with comedy lyrics so if you're easily offended, maybe not the place for you.

I had the best time at the Shout! House. This was my first experience at a piano bar and I couldn't have been more impressed with the talented piano players. They played songs that patrons requested from a variety of music genres and had great energy. Everyone was singing along and having so much fun. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the San Diego area.

We love the Shout House! This is a great place to go on a date or with a large party. We got reservations for a birthday party (26 people) and had one of the balconies to ourselves. Several times throughout the night people would try to squeeze into our space but security consistently kept them out. The staff was fantastic, the drinks are good (and reasonably priced), and the atmosphere is great.

Haven't been in years, but it hasn't changed a bit! Great music, diverse clientele, fun bar staff, great vibe, and an overall amazing experience. Drinks are a bit steep ($12) and cover is ($10). Reservations are worthwhile otherwise it's a long night of standing.

We had a group reservation for birthday which is 25 people and we paid cover already for 25 than they gave it to us whole balcony place. Later a hour one of our friend came the security guy didn t let him get in because there was big waiting line! We talked outside for help because we had reservations and we have own place already but nothing changed. After talk we called supervisor but he was so rude than we of course upset about that he doesn t let us back the place included birthday girl. That was terrible experience we ever got. We called all friends for go outside. We paid $240 for reservation. We are all locals we love musicians except management!!!

My mom and I we're visiting my daughter that's stationed there. Bob was kind enough to give us his seat so we could all sit together. Piano bar was amazing entertainment. One of the best nights there. Definitely worth the money spent.

Great venue for high energy piano playing duet. Musicians are very talented, alternate on pianos, guitars, and drums. Their ability to improvise on demand and get the crowd to sing along is amazing. Even the shyest person will be participating by end of the night.

Waiters are attentive and run around constantly to make sure you have what you need. Food was better than expected but drinks are so so. The main focus here are musicians and the whole vibe. Make reservations on busy nights to guarantee seating.

Visiting San Diego?! Come here! Live in San Diego?! Come here! Best place to just hang out and cool if you have a great first music! Bring cash to make sure your songs get played and to support the musicians ! Always a fun time to be had here whether it's Weds or Friday or Sunday! I love this place and I take everyone and anyone whose visiting me here to have fun

Visited from Chicago where, there's a live music venue on every corner, and I have to say this place was incredible! You need to get there fairly early to get a table if you don't have a reservation, but it's well worth standing for even if you don't. SUCH a fun place, I would definitely go back, but keep in mind it's not cheap!

Two pianos. And a drum set. And a bass. Plus they take requests for all kinds of occasions.
The service was fast for the crowd, and the prices were great. The witty banter held up the whole night. When the security had to escort some very drunken "participants" off stage the musicians were gracious about it, and kind.
There are more than three reasons this was a "must see" in San Diego!

FUN!

My husband and I loved this place until tonight. We went with a few friends and one of the bartenders was extremely rude. She thought she had a say in how much our group tipped her, and then proceeded to cause problems with everyone in our group. One guy in particular. Saying that if he couldnt afford to go out that he shouldnt be there, all because he didnt tip her the amount she wanted. Giving attitude and cutting people off bc she was upset with one of the tip amounts. Mind you it was about 630 or 7 and we had all just started to drink. So cutting off a sober person bc he didnt tip you the amount you wanted is kind of pathetic. Needless to say, if I ever do decide to go back, itll be on a night that she isnt working. I would post her name, but she refused to give it. On the plus side, the musicians and crazy talented and are always on top of their game. Great job to the musicians, not so great to the bartender.

Wow! What an incredible and must visit place. The musicians are talented and great Showmen. Make reservations early as they seat you closer or up in the front depending on the order of reservations received. You will sing, dance, and laugh continuously! If you are in San Diego, you must go!

I have a lot of respect for live music and I was hoping to hear a talented pianist play some beautiful classical or jazz music in an elegant setting. But their main focus is making jokes, laughing, screaming and singing short pieces of pop songs in a funny manner. It felt as if there were abusing the piano, not playing it. Also, one of the security guards (very wide and tall guy with a huge face), was not friendly or welcoming at all. Kinda spoiled the mood even before we got in.

Unfriendly staff, I fall down in their floor because it was greasy and the staff they didn't care to help me thanks to a customer he helped me.
So I left on rush when I paid because I was hurt, next day I found out they charged more and I called many times many day no one answer my calls or my messages I left.
I was lucky didn't break my leg only bruised, horrible place will never go back there.

What is not to love? Live piano dueling, fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff resulted in almost no voice the next morning (from singing along at top volume) and some great memories.
I WILL be back!

We had a really fun time here the other night. If I could, I'd give 3.5 stars. The entertainers were very talented, but the food we had was mediocre at best (carnitas tacos) and subpar at worst (pizza). Overall, we still had a fun time, sang our hearts out to the raunchy house theme song, but left after 2 hrs to find something else.

I love the shout house! You have to get there early because the line can get ridiculous but it is so worth the wait. They play a mix of classic and new school songs. They really get the crowd involved and if you're willing to hand over a few bucks you can even get them to do a rendition of your favorite song! There aren't any dance floors unfortunately but they have a stage and are always looking for someone to get on it!

The Shout! House is an absolute blast. The piano players were very charismatic and talented. They took song requests, joked with the audience, and they were entertaining the entire evening. The food was what you'd expect from any bar and the service was a little less attentive as the bar filled up, but what you're really here for is the entertainment, which is absolutely phenomenal.

Fun!!
