I can only assume that "me fu" (the review below) was posted by a rival firm -- it appears as if the person writing didn't even use CALG; someone simply wrote a "review." My experience was nothing short of exemplary -- they represented me against a large auto dealership and put a LOT of effort into getting me twice as much as expected. They know what they're doing and do it well.
They are good one way but terrible in other ways, think twice before you hire them, They are settling attorneys not fighting attorneys so just a heads up, despite having alot of evidence that a dealer got caught in fraud they'll get away with it because consumer action law group won't fight hard for you but they'll settle quick and leave you with uncertainty as they did to me. Not a professional law firm at all in my opinion so be careful with them

The team at Consumer Action Law Group is a very helpful group of people. Not only are they knowledgeable but they also care about the clients they work with. I had some questions and in a consultation with Farah (one of the employment attorneys) she guided me through a copyright issue that I couldn't find an answer in google for. Highly recommend them!!
I contacted Consumer Action 2 years ago just to ask some general questions regarding Calif auto Lemon laws.....extremely helpful..Not only did I find out all the info I was seeking, it turned out that I had some serious issues at hand with my auto contract.....I entrusted Consumer Action with everything...Pauliana and her assistant Fannie kept me updated throughout the entire process of my suit, answered all my calls and emails, which meant alot to me..My case was settled with higher expectations than I ever imagined. I didn't so much as get past the receptionist, dude. Some old lady answered and didnt even give me her name at first, just answered like it was a Jack In The Box. I asked for her name and she just slurred it to me..Silvia is what I got. Needs to learn how to assist potential clientele. Then I told her why I was calling to see about a possible lawsuit against a large company, and she replied "We don't handle those here," so I replied, "well where do you handle them, then?" She asked me to repeat myself, and as I did, halfway through my sentence, she cut me off and said, " Hold on. Hold on," and so I just hung up on her royal rudeness. Smh, I guess the reviews are true. If the receptionist is this bad, I can only imagine what's behind curtain #1.

I filled out the form on their website requesting a call back. They never followed up. I called them and spoke to an attorney who asked me to send him the sales contract, and he said he would send me an email so I knew where to email the sales contract. They never emailed me. I called them up to follow up a few days later and the receptionist said I would get an email later that day. I didn't get an email and there was no follow up. I called again and told them I was told that I would be sent an email and they were requesting a couple documents. The receptionist spoke to an attorney and said that was a mistake, someone will email me with a list of documents I need to see if I have a case. They still have not emailed me. If a law firm has trouble following through on something as simple as an email, they are probably not the best law firm to represent your interests.
Absolutely the best firm to deal with! Fanny, Paulianna & the rest are the best hands down! If I EVER have another issue this Firm will be the first phone call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people should be disbared . The only one in the group who is even helpful is Gloria . They dont return calls . They are afraid of their own shadows. Going into court,doubtful. worst group of attorneys ever. well look at their location, Really entrance is in the alley. They need to go back to school.
Very good Law firm with excellent attorneys. Attorneys at the firm are expert on filing Bankruptcy, sue car dealers for Auto Fraud, sue banks and lenders for mortgage fraud, Stop Foreclosure, sue employer for wrongful termination, and much more.

Almost all of these reviews are spam as just about all say that they were good, but couldn t help them since they were in Florida, Tennessee, and every other US state. Look at the one by Suzanne Thomas - she said it all!!!! Im guessing they posted any four or above star reviews themselves. Find another attourney - I certainly will!!! I just looked through at least 10 reviews and knew most were fakes!!!
Horrible firm!! don't waste your money and time!! go to a real firm! real lawyers!!! did you know all their storied/files on their website are not even theirs..it stories they copy paste from google to their account..if you check each and one of them you'll see it different firm and states, nothing to do with their firm!!! what a bunch of crooks!!!!

They have a concise article and it is very informative for homeowners who are in the verge of losing their homes The lending business is scroupulus, and many states allowed the big banks to do whatever they want; borrowers have to be careful of their interest rates. Homeowners have hope if they conduct their research. It is extremely sad seeing many of us losing our homes after years in living in them.
When we began our journey with Consumer Action Law Group, we were full of frustration and uncertainty. It was a long road but fortunately, we had Yelena and her team. She was there to walk us through the confusing legal world and was always there to reassure us during the process. Thanks to Yelena, we were able to save our house from being taken from us. Matthew E. Faler is a buffoon at best, unethical at worst. He was the assigned attorney for my Chapter 13. He was a no-show at court once, when he actually did show, he got our payment bumped up!! When it came time to close our case...He was nowhere to be found. Spent months attempting to locate with zero success...Until today. Reached him at his new firm today..."I don't practice bankruptcy any longer. I can't help you." He could have at least told us that he was closing his practice...Nope...Nothing...Nadda Might...and I stress MIGHT be good at what he does now...I would question this man's scruples and ultimately his care and LOYALTY to his customers THE PEOPLE WHO PAY HIS BILLS!!! Thanks for NOTHING!!!

Prompt response! Although I reside out of state I do appreciate the resources and / or referrals given. This firm has excellent communication and whether or not they can assist you they still take the time out to respond to your email(s) and point you in the right direction. I want to start by saying that Pauliana is the greatest. She took on the Auto dealership and won. She worked tirelessly to win a settlement in my favor. While always remaining professional and courteous. I received regular feedback despite Pauliana's hectic schedule. When Pauliana couldn't follow up, Fanny Alvarez would contact me . Fanny is just a delight. She always conveyed messages in a clear and concise manner. I went online and did a Google search for lawyers against car dealerships and found this site. I immediately and furiously filled out the form and within moments I received an email from... Rob P. Director of Marketing Consumer Action Law Group Auto Fraud I Bankruptcy I Foreclosure I Disputing Credit Report I Stop Robocalls I wasn't flooded with calls or emails. Rob sent me a simple but very concerned email letting me know that he was in California and unable to help me since I lived in Georgia. BUT, he gave me a few different sites to try that could help me in my area. I would highly recommend Rob just for how concerned he was in my case. He really showed compassion and we all know how hard that is to find in a lawyer...
