They take a long time to answer to make an appointment and then they give you the appointment schedule and they don't attend you I have three hours here and they haven't even attended me
It's a shame they don't answer you when you call to set up an appointment, and if you go directly to the consulate they owe you back, so having an appointment is a shame.
If you want poor customer service , rudeness and be mistreated come to this place .Staff not knowledgeable about the services they are providing and expect you to do thier job .As someone who works for social services and refers people to this location I got to experience first hand what our clients have to go through . I am so disappointed by the quality of service .The star was part of my sarcasm since you have to rate this location .

i don't understand some of the negative reviews here, people need to understand that this is a consulate and things have to be done right, come in with the required documents and treat everyone with the respect they deserve and you'll have a very positive experience.

If you you want to get the run around this is the place to go!! When the phone lines go down you need to keep calling them till they get it fixed.. Hasn't happen in two weeks!! I also asked to speak in English and they will just hang up or transfer you.. Still waiting to schedule an appointment.

Slow service, not enough seating for people waiting. I was there during a minor holiday and they interrupted services for about 40 minutes while they brought a marching band, that added time to the already delayed paperwork. Just awful slow. People there were not very knowledgeable and friendly. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

I arrived at the Mexican Consulate at 7:30 AM, I lined up to endure the cold, 15 minutes later I passed the review, I was told that I should turn off the phone, they attended to me without an appointment because my diligence did not require it, 15 minutes later I was already outside of the Consulate.
What was wrong is that yesterday 7/12/2020 I went to the same Consulate around 12:30 in the afternoon and an employee told me to come back at 2:30 PM, but not without first hearing from a security guard she told me that He was going to help me to be cared for. I returned at the scheduled time and the same guard told me to return today at 7:00 AM, he had not used to print the document or to collect.

What pisses me off the most is when you want to make an appointment, they last a long time to answer. Today and I talked about 30 times and nobody answers me. And when they answer you they treat you as if you don't know anything and with a lot of bad education. And so those who work at the consulate very rude with one and also treat you as if you know nothing and you have no education when they have no education on how to treat people. And now they have a rule that no one but the person who has an appointment can go inside, and if it is okay so that it does not become so much aboroto but they are not fair to everyone. I was not told to spend a day that my husband had an appointment and I had to wait with my baby chikita outside and also another lady with a newborn who did not let her in. But then several men arrived with 3-4 children and grown up and let them all pass. I do not say that they tell the children outside because it is dangerous but that they want that lady or anyone who takes their children to change their appointment and that they return another day ALONE.

Very rude security guards, entitled even. Also overheard a woman asking the guards to turn people away because she didn't want to answer questions that a flier could and to just pass out the flier instead.
I paid $95 dollars for a document to ensure I don t pay fees for my furniture that I m taking to my house in Mexico when I crossed the border. When I arrived I was told because of the document I must go to a different entry which was 2 hours inland, which I was never told at the consulate. There I was forced to pay $1000 to leave Aduana, without the payment I couldn t leave back to the US or forward into Mexico. I was held outside from 6am to 5pm as cars past me with all my cargo.
This document is worthless and I was extorted at the border. The consulate lacks information and communication, thus putting your life at risk by being targeted by people. I anticipated to past through Tijuana at dawn with this document to be discrete for a reason.
It took me 6 months to get a appointment, then it took us like 4 hours to do a double nationally for my daughter. A REAL HEADACHE!!!

I have about three weeks trying to schedule an appointment but it is impossible the only answer I get is that I have to call every day or I have to spawn the calls for each week that was the last answer of the person who answered me in mixtel, of course I already tried it online but it was not possible. After many years working in Australia and Spain, we retired in the USA. Our experience with the people were mostly positive. We were integrated in the society and our complete social life is American and Latin .
After 11 years of good life in a great neighborhood and mostly good times with our tenants we are very disappointed about the inhumanity this country is showing with its immigration politics.

i called their automated phone system to make an appointment and they suck waited 15 minutes on hold to talk to someone and no one answered. Their website is worse cant even send them an email. Called the Fresno number also and no one answered. Its useless to get through to them.
If there was a half a star option id click that one. Worse service ever this is an important matter to my parents and there is no way to communicate with these people to make an appointment.

My sister call to make an appointment one day ago ( 1/2/2020) and the lady that answered the phone was very very rude. She hang out the phone after my sister asked her to repeat some information because she couldn't understan what she said. I do not why they are this way.They are there to help no to be rude or humiliate people.

I went to the consulate yesterday to renew my passport and all the workers were very friendly and very patient including Oswaldo the person who helped me, being very patient when I asked him questions.
